At long last, we finally know!

It was always a wonder as to why Dooku would actually reveal to Obi-Wan Kenobi that there was a dark lord, Darth Sidious, behind the Senate. Was it because he felt for his former pupil, Qui-Gon Jinn, and wanted Kenobi to be safe? Was it because he wanted to kill Sidious and take over the galaxy, himself?
