After some shenanigans, the team critiques the concept of work/life balance. They discuss the change in work/life boundaries from the earliest days of work to our more modern day office culture, and the blurring of work/life boundaries with so many workers returning home. An alternative to work/life balance is questioned. Finally, they assert that in the quest for some sort of equilibrium the choice is a personal one, and encourage people to prioritize what they find most important.

Over thousands of years, the way we have thought about work has changed with innovations in technology and thought. After a brief history of humanity's thoughts on work, the team discusses what work brings to our lives with this modern understanding paying particular attention to the dignity of the worker, workplace relationships, and the value work can bring to others.
