Having a presence at your child's school is a responsibility that has to be shared between both parents and is not solely the responsibility of the mother. Very often black Dads are given a negative perception in school life and it's very important that as Black Dads we are present, contribute and are active in our child's school life.

There are lower rates of marriage within black women compared to other races and only 23% of dark skinned women are married.
