Michael Dennis blamed his ex-wife, Doreen Erbert for the tragic and sudden death of their son, Paul, who accidentally drowned in their family swimming pool. Although both of them deeply mourned the loss of their child, Doreen attempted to move on, and began a family with her new husband, Charles. But on Halloween night in 1984, a man in a wolf mask armed with a machete put an end to any hope Doreen still carried.
