Double Down Podcast

Episode 2 of the Double Down Podcast will focus on our guest Isaiah Ihnen. Isaiah shares his story of growing up in Germany and starting basketball the age of 15. Isaiah takes us on his journey to America to play college basketball and the challenges and success he had along the way. Isaiah also shares the story of his 2 ACL injuries and how they affected his mental health as well as the emotional stressors that come with surgery and rehab.

This podcast will feature high level athlete guests

that at one point in their career suffered some sort of

injury that kept them out of the sport they love. This

podcast will feature interviews about initial emotional

responses and stressors of the injury. Also, we will

talk in depths about mental health and the relation it

has in sports especially through injury and the action

of being sidelined from the sport you play. Lastly, me

and my guests will detail the physical battle of rehab

and the fight it takes everyday to get back to the

athletic level that they once were at.
