Double Issue

This week Riley and Kindred watched a movie nobody asked for a review on, Terms of Endearment. Kindred has some thoughts about the title of this podcast that she can't put into words and Riley has some thoughts about Mormonism that she CAN put into words. I know this blurb sounds drab, but it's a great episode I promise! And you know that's a promise you can trust because it's got the Come At Me Seal of Approval (tm tm tm).

Usually on this show we try to do some worldbuilding, but this time, we're going below that. TO THE UNDERWORLD. Be it the criminal underworld or a weird indie short film that probably more accurately links to the prompt underground, we got you covered.

Riley and Kindred are talking The Rolling Stones, ever heard of 'em?! A look at the album Some Girls leads them to ponder how we digest problematic media made during "a different time." There's plenty of quotes from Riley's husband, Josh, and even plentier uncomfortable political discussion.

Remember in the Robot episode where we referenced there was a Robot Uprising event? Well, here it is! Get ready to be dazzled and feel feels. It's a long one, but the universe really starts to feel alive with an event like this. So Enjoy!

Y'all know what you're getting into with this episode if you've read the title. As always, thanks for listening.

A special bonus episode for a special bonus day. I am of course talking about the day after Quentin's birthday. Which is the day after the day after Daniel's birthday. Hope you enjoy the extra content where we come up with some more animal based heroes for that crazy league we occasionally mention. Then join us on Thursday for our regularly scheduled episode where we'll jump head first into the Robot Uprising Event! Also email us with the subject line Application and tell us your animal, your element, and a brief description of your powers (whether or not they truly are elemental or animal) and we'll see what happens.

You want TABOO? You want DEFYING CULTURAL NORMS? You want A COMPLETELY MISSED OPPORTUNITY TO DISCUSS HAROLD AND MAUDE? You got it, babe, with this week's episode. Kindred and Riley discuss a randomly chosen a BBC documentary series about couples with large age gaps. Listen as Riley learns that the age of consent isn't what she always thought it was, and Kindred reminds us that there is a woman out there married to a carnival ride.

This is it, listeners. The Episode that SHAKES everything up. This episode really ROCKS. Join us as we flesh out the backstory of none other than Quake! This was a really fun one to record and we hope you have fun listening. It's an episode that really pulls you in. Get it? Gravity! See this all the people I lost to in Punderdome? I can do puns! I swear!
