Double Issue

It's Oscar season, and Riley and Kindred are discussing a classic love story, Love Story. There are some ups and downs, a discussion of A Walk to Remember, the word "Daddy" used inappropriately on a Pinterest craft, and we also say goodbye to a beloved segment. Guys, thanks for listening, we think you're the tops.

It's the one you've all been waiting for! The conclusion to the Cliffhangers from two weeks ago. I have a friend who nods to the resolution of any movie he's watching. I'm sure he'll be nodding this whole episode. And not nodding off, these stories are action-packed.

In today's episode, Riley and Kindred attempt to actually discuss the album of music they have chosen to review. Things get off to a good start when they both completely derail to investigate Kindred's father's secret rapping talent and Riley's OSHA training at work.

Lightyears beyond the other worldbuilding. Both in a quality sense and in a sense that it's in space! Join us as our friend Josh joins us to craft up an alien species only briefly mentioned in a story before this. Hope you have as much fun listening as we did recording this one. Enjoy!

Ah, how nice to see you again, listeners. Or if you're reading this description I guess you're readers and NOT listeners. Guys, in this episode there's a bit of shitty ASMR, there's some discussion of co-workers, a really shitty fanfic called Icosikaiheptagon and a reading from a pamphlet on Hell that Riley and Kindred got at the Idaho State Fair 6 or so years ago. Which is apropos as we're definitely going to Hell for writing this fanfic . . . that is if you believe in that sort of crap. Grab a bowl of cereal, have a seat, and enjoy!

Are you ready to have to wait for the next episode to get the resolution you crave? Then have we got a show for you! This week is the first part of a two-parter as we set up unresolved stories that we'll finish up in two weeks. The Twist? We'll be finishing each other's stories. Hope you enjoy the setup and hope we can get ourselves out of these ones.

What a wild ride! An episode that begins with LITERALLY 20 minutes of tampon/period-related stories leads us on a journey through the plot of a terrible movie (with incredible music) all the way to Perkins and back to period blood. Join us! #Wow

Everything is different! The world is in chaos! Can't just one thing stay the same? No. Thus, we break our streak of stories to bring you a full on worldbuilding episode. Hope you like it. There's going to be one every other week from here on out. In this Daniel and Quentin tackle the biggest and most super of the super groups of this world briefly mentioned in a previous episode. And no I'm not talking about the superpowered animal team. We're saving that gem for a live show.

This week Riley and Kindred discuss a movie from the early 2000's that isn't dated at all! It's entirely politically correct and doesn't ever use the "r" word. Riley realizes that she knows one of the actresses from HBO's version of Angels in America, and Kindred says, "I was gonna say . . ." at least 20 times. This episode is not to be missed for any of you Mandy Moore fans out there!

It's time to look at yourself in the mirror this week as we tackle the prompt Reflections. Be prepared for a critical look at all your shortcomings and flaws, but also look to finde the spark of light in you that keeps you going. You do that self-reflection and meanwhile we'll tell you some superhero stories.
