kicked off on Saturday. I'm not a fan. I get enough football from mid-July until early February. Come to think of it, there's to much of all pro sports.

Too long of a season for NBA, NHL and almost all the teams make the playoffs. The NFL has added teams, expanded playoffs and so has MLB. Enough!

nasty cold/weather of Jan 29-31, 2019

there's chatter about the school day's missed in the region. 

Across much of Minnesota and North Dakota there was

no school for 2 day's

. State's and school districts designate a minimum number of "school" day's or contact. 

When the call is to ask state officials to "forgive" the day's and not have the made up. I ask why? 

Isn't school about "teaching" and "learning" vs just checking the box of required day's?
