Definitely Human launches its latest audio drama: THE DIVIDE!

A spy thriller in twelve episodes created by Matthew Woodcock (The Monster Hunters, Down), The Divide will release its first two episodes this Friday 24 October! And the rest of the show will release weekly for the rest of the year!

Starring Mark Desebrock (MarsCorp, Shakespeare's Globe theatre), EJ Martin (Down, pluck productions), Simon Kane (The Monster Hunters, BBC Radio 4's John Finnemore's Souvenir Programme) and Rachel Hinds (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child).

With Ben Whitehead (the voice of Wallace in Wallace and Gromit – seriously!), Amelie Edwards (in everything Definitely Human has ever made), and more!

The Divide is a rollercoaster of action and drama in the world of 1960s espionage – with immersive sound design by Tom Dalling, music by Jonathan Day, and artwork by Jon Stubbington.

The crew of the DSV Virgil have survived horrors and catastrophes, and now it seems too much to hope for survival, let alone salvation. But Marion, Sam and Marcus will not accept defeat. Marion confronts Marcus, but even in his manic, fractured state he is more of a danger than she realises. Sam has relinquished control and put all his faith in the Virgil, but a splinter of doubt still troubles his mind. Meanwhile the Entity finally reveals its intent.

With Marcus still roaming the Virgil, Marion and Sam must watch each other’s backs to stay alive. But Sam’s instinct to play it safe runs afoul of Marion’s proactivity, as she decides that the only way to survive is to meet their problem head on.

A mechanical failure spells disaster for the crew, as chillingly foretold by the retrieved data recorder. Sam battles with the failing submarine, Marion discovers a little of Charlie’s outlook on life and Marcus attempts to make contact with Mission Control.
