Manchmal geht er dabei ein bisschen zu weit. Aber: Er darf das, er ist Jude! Der Autor hat übrigens eine Bitte: Hören Sie dieses Hörbuch nicht aus schlechtem Gewissen oder politischer Korrektheit. Kaufen Sie sich für diesen Zweck lieber ein zweites Exemplar. Darf man über so etwas lachen? Man muss! Denn Oliver Polak erzählt mit so viel Charme und Chuzpe von seinen ersten dreißig Jahren, dass man erfreut verkünden darf: Der jüdische Humor ist zurück in Deutschland.

He does feel some sorrow in letting Travis County go, because he looks to the Texas Chainsaw Massacres as proof that guns don't kill people, chainsaws do. Losing that state history does give Governor Perry regret...]

I get to take the satire beyond the Stewarts and the Colberts of the world, because this is a hobby for me. I like it that way, and hopefully, you will find the humor liberating.

Some of The Best Satire You Will Find

Really good take on the political absurdities of this world. It's humor is as insightful as it is funny. I also like the overall tone of this satire. It is upbeat without being cheesy, yet biting and forceful. The author deserves a lot of praise for this sharp satire. I recommend you buy it now, and start reading even sooner. When you do, check out the articles about Putin and Ukraine. They pinpoint this whole issue with surprising precision.

DISCLOSURE: the author of this book has given it to me as a gift, but if it were a piece of trash, I would have called it exactly that. It's the opposite though.
