    Narrator: Jason Culp
    Format: Abridged
Length: 5 hrs and 3 mins
    Language: English
    Release date: 07-13-12
    Publisher: Random House Audio
Ratings: 4.5 of 5 out of 9 votes

    Publisher's Summary:
Tim LaHaye has called Babylon Rising his most exciting series ever, and The Europa Conspiracy is the most thrilling and suspenseful installment yet. Reaching back to some of the most dramatic and prophetically significant stories of the Bible, and forward to the creation of ultimate evil in the modern world, the awe-inspiring revelations never let up.
It begins when Michael Murphy heads to the ancient city of Babylon in pursuit of one of the most famous and mystifying of Biblical prophecies: The Handwriting on the Wall. But the closer he gets to deciphering the true meaning of Daniel's ancient message for our troubled times, the closer Murphy comes to a shattering confrontation with the forces of darkness that will cause the earth itself to tremble.
In The Europa Conspiracy, Tim LaHaye once again shows how his thrill-a-minute storytelling and deep understanding of the Bible have combined to make him one of today's most popular and influential fiction authors.

I have enjoyed this series of books although after the first two
I have enjoyed this series of books although after the first two, the plots are quite predictable. One thing I have found with the Kindle versions is that there are a lot of missing words and misspellings. When I read book 3, and it ended rather abruptly, seemingly in the middle of a thought, I questioned whether I had gotten to whole book. Then I thought perhaps the next book would pick up where this one left off. It didn't. The Edge of Darkness, while enjoyable was just a predictable as the previous ones. But when I reached the last few pages and some sections were repeated at least twice, and it ended literally in mid-sentence, I am again wondering whether I am getting the entire book.
It pull you in like the other books in this series
This is an engaging christian-based action thriller. It pull you in like the other books in this series. The authors blended scripture and Christian values nicely into fast moving story line. I enjoyed most of the characters though Methuselah and his "tests" missed the mark. The way Murphy goes through the tests and the solutions were too much of a stretch. Setting that aside, I enjoyed the entire series.
    Began to get bored
I purchased this book thinking that I would get the same or better read than the book that came before it (in the series). By this book I had begun to get annoyed with the Bible-thumping conversations which seemed quite unnecessary. The author could have sent his idea through a different way, such as a thought by the main character, or a comment about the main character from a co-worker. The main plot was interesting.
    A Rush!
Very good book series. There are a lot of ups and downs, twists and turns! Always on my toes!
Dr Lahaye & Bob Phillips are masters of suspense.
If you have read the other Babylon Rising books you must read this one. My concern now is what next?

    Love finds a way
Sasha Davis is a principal ballerina who suffers a cardiac event while dancing that causes her husband and dance partner to fall with her. The injuries that she sustains from the fall are career ending. She bans her husband from visiting her which makes him believe that she blames him for the fall even though she had told him that she did not. She knows that it was her fault for not seeking help for dizzy spells she had been experiencing. She returns to her hometown to recover and has to have live in help. After several unsatisfactory attempts, she hires Evelyn who is a cheerful, large, somewhat clumsy young woman. Although Sashais cranky and bitter, Evelyn eventually seems to pull Sasha out of her depression and back into the world of the living. A friendship grows between the women and is cemented when Evelyn plays a role in uniting Sasha and her husband.
This book should be listed as Christian literature. The story was compelling. I think that the story of Evelyn and her boyfriend might be a good one for teens to read. I enjoyed the book very much. I purchased it myself.
    Lovely story
This was like a warm hug from start to finish. Was a engaging story of two women. They were so different but so alike. Through the course of time they grew and changed. The reader had a glimpse of friendship and love. Such a intricate story woven with gentle intrigue.
    Great Story
As you turn the pages of this one you will be holding your breath to see what these two very different souls will say or do next.
You will love Evelyn as she tests the waters of life.
Not always as her parents hoped but her own way.
Then Sasha the ballet dancer will she survive her I injury?
Grandpa is another favorite as you experience his love & support of his Granddaughter.
Enjoyed this heart touching story from beginning to last page.
    Fascinating!
What a beautiful story of some very strong, and admirable people. It was very hard to put down, and I'm sorry it's done.

I liked Eveline's just do it spirit and her faith. That she was able to help the injured ballet dancer Sasha see the truth was inspiring.

    Good story but...
The narrator really took away from the reading. Her drawl and slow speech made the characters sound slow. Occasionally, the voice matched the character, but the book would have benefited from a better narrator.

A Fun Journey with a Gifted Narrator
Find the full review at my blog, The Guilded Earlobe:
Its no secret that I am a fan of MacLeod Andrews work as a narrator. One thing I love about his work is his voice isnt the typical narrator voice. Its not a deep, booming testosterone rich bass voice, nor is it a silky smooth tenor. Andrews voice is full of gravel and grit, and he manages to take his voice and make it suit the text he is reading just right. Here, Andrews brings the story alive, able to take on a cast full of international accents as well and otherworldly beings. Andrews manages to bring a true authenticity to his characters whether they are a Slavic priest, or a denizen of the deepest pits of hell. Andrews moves the plot along well with his crisp pacing that smoothed out any of the roughness of the story. His pacing is fast enough to create tension, while not so fast that it muddles the action. The true highlight for me was Andrews handling of heaven and hell, managing to make Angels sound Angelic while making the demons totally creepy. Really, it was a lot of fun taking a journey like this with a talented narrator.
    A Dance with the Devil
Ian is a complicated guy: He is in love with the extraordinarily beautiful and smart Angela, is studying Near Death Experiences and trying to rescue his beloved parents from Hell after they saved his life when they were in a car accident together. Author Glenn Kleier has given people who enjoy tense thrillers a reason to celebrate... The Knowledge of Good And Evil is imaginative, taught, tense and enough narrow escapes to keep the reader going.
Angela is the type of heroine we all love: she is bright, smart, listens to her own, interior panic button and saves Ian more than once from heading into straight folly. I'm not sure a book exactly like this has ever been attempted before. For one thing, the reader gets about 30 prompts to a web page to show the readers a particular painting or a scientist in the world of certain esoteric sciences. The reader doesn't have to wonder why a special church in Europe is so distinct....

    Perfect comfort read (or listen!)
Loved this! Brilliant series. I find that listening to a book on audio makes it rather hard to write a full review as it took me about a month to get through this book, but Rosalind Lauer's Amish novels are simply the perfect comfort reads (or listens). I get attached to her characters and really care about them. I think my only complaint about this book would be that it didn't have a conventional story arc, and I did wonder at times when the story would get going or what direction it would head in. Very much looking forward to reading the third book in the series! 4.5

Yes , she did a great job and her expressions were good.
Christian romance with a story twist.
It is a slow start. I actually was not going to continue listening but I received a request for a review. It is an interesting concept but a slow story to unfold. All in all I enjoyed the story.
    Boring, Simplistic, Empty
Eight hours of emptiness and repetition. Like chewing all day on a piece of used up gum. Utterly obtuse, and simple minded. One and a half under-developed ideas are dragged through the reader's mind for the duration (in an attempt at keeping up suspense, but actually devolving into bored frustration) until this pathetic writing effort finally ends.
    Excellent Story
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes. It kept my interest until the very end.
