God and Job
The Old Testaments answer to the question of suffering shows neither God or his victim needing justification. I was expecting it to be read with the sonority of a Charlton Griffin, but LeVar Burton gave a more down-to-earth interpretation, as if Job and his accusers, lowly humans that they were, had to struggle to find the words to express their thoughts. I thought this approach worked well with the humans but not so well when the Lord himself was speaking from the whirlwind. I loved the recording and expect I will re-hear it often as I grow older.

Food for thought. It may not answer the question, "Why is there suffering?," but it will give you something to think about and maybe come to some conclusion.
