Basics of Minimalism
Its a nice book as an introduction to the subject. I think this book is like being minimalist in the world of books on minimalism. The last chapter did not seem really connected to the subject as it talks of freelancing or being an entrepreneur. That chapter made me take a star away.
Easy Minimalist Living Review
This was an easy book to follow with some good suggestions. I think that for the most part, much of this is common sense. In a nutshell, this is why most people 'spring clean'. Simplest solution is don't buy crap you don't need. Easy peasy.
Audiobook received from Audiobook Blast newsletter in exchange for an honest review.
Embracing Minimalism
This is not one of my ordinary listens but I thought I would do it in exchange for a fair review. The older I get I feel like I want more out of my ever busy life. The concept of minimalism is not new to me and I have made attempts at de-cluttering my world. Listening to this audio book has empowered me to take action. I am in the process of writing the letter to my stuff. I loved that that she has identified perils and setbacks that will happen along the way and provided strategies into how to overcome them and live a minimalistic lifestyle. I would recommend this book to anyone who would like to declutter. I am empowered to structure my life to live with only what I need.
Surprisingly helpful
I didn't know how much I'd get from it, and indeed there were many practices here I already follow and some of it you would think would be common sense, but I got quite a lot out of the book! It's helped me a great deal in a short amount of time. The narration was clear, pleasant, and compelling. Very well done all around! I would recommend this book to all people that are thinking of changing there life to Minimalist Living
This book is exactly what I needed!
This book has made me realize that i was putting more value on money than my time, time that i would never regain in my life, time which is more important than anything money could buy. Its also made me realize that advertisers really do tell us that without their products we suck, but they do it indirectly so we don't really notice it then end up buying stuff which we later realize that we never needed.
