Too confusing to pay for

Veronicaâs stepdad wants her to have a babysitter and she canât understand why, seeing that sheâs 18 years old. She puts on a low cut mini dress to try to seduce her stepdad and get her way, but it doesnât work. She gets a babysitter anyway, and he regresses her and introduces her to sex.

Pros: Age play and sexual scene is hot.

Cons: 1. Only one sexual scene, and according to the text, there was no penetration during the whole time.

2. Itâs confusing. When Veronica is awakened the next day by the babysitter, it says that he has a face she doesnât recognize. But during their time together she calls him Daddy. Is it just because heâs referred to himself as Daddy? Then it says after a month her dad was getting ready to come home. The story hadnât explained that heâd be gone for a whole month, where, or why. (Sorry, I just prefer details.) The morning of her Dadâs return, the babysitter bathes and dresses her, and by the time sheâs dressed, her Dad is just there. Like he appeared out of nowhere. Not sure where the babysitter is at this point. Her Dad asks if he should get rid of the babysitter, she says no because she loves him. He says âI thought you might.â Then it ends. Say what now? This leaves me with a big question: was the babysitter actually the Daddy in a disguise or something, or did he actually pay a total strange, grown man, to come have sex with his daughter? And if so, why? So glad I read this Unlimited.

Underdeveloped Potential

A decent premise, with tons of under developed potential. Needed an editing pass as well. Definitely worth a KU read!

Bittersweet Romantic F/F Short Ghost Story

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I would and with it being close to Halloween this would make for a good seasonal story.

What other book might you compare In the Heart of the Blizzard to and why?

First off it is a tender short story. Although I've read a few similar stories I can not recall their titles or Authors.

Which scene was your favorite?

The love scene was tender and loving. I'm a straight old lady and am not into F/F sex scenes, however this was a tender poignant F/F love scene and was well done.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I cried at the ending. The ending is a surprise and the story is bittersweet. I really cried.

The story was a surprise. First off I was surprised that I really liked it. If you are in the mood for a supernatural tearjerker short story that fits in well with Halloween then this would be a good choice.

Really Short

It was okay, but that ending though!

One of my favorite kinds of movies or fantasies, was the one where the male/female character got lost in the wilderness and stumbled upon the lone house of the other character. I am not sure why that has always been my ideal fantasy or favorite storyline, but I always felt an author could go any direction with this start as their base. In the case of In The Heart of the Blizzard, R. Scott took it a different direction than I was expecting. The ending left me with a WTF look on my face for a while. Writing this review, I still have a WTF look on my face.

The story was okay. I thought the sex scene could have been steamier. I think my issue that really ruined it or dampened what the story could have been was the narrator. I think someone with a sexier voice would have done this story more justice.

This was a quick listen, and I appreciate the author giving me the opportunity to listen to it for my honest and unbiased review.

A nice short sequel

A short well rounded sequel to Becky's last chance. Some better insights to the characters and plausible reoloutions to the relationship conflicts between Becky's and her father and step mother. It was also nice to get a description of Ryan. Some funny images with Kendal and Becky trying to fix a dent in the car with sledge hammer.

i really enjoyed this i wasnt really sure i would like this because i didnt know how the issue between becky and her dad would be resolved and i was afraid that becky would be forced to accept it and no consideration to her feelings but that wasnt the case it was really a good story.
