Learn to Live Better by Living Curiously
It is quite likely that we each have but one life to live. If you are interested in making that life one of adventure, this book is for you. You don't need to be independently wealthy (if you are, maybe you should pretend you aren't) or to quit your job (though you could if you wanted to) or to shirk your responsibilities (I don't advise this) to embrace the Living Curiously Method. The Method is for everyone (well, everyone who wants to live an extraordinary life -- some people don't and, as the author says, that's okay). Living Curiously teaches the willing reader, through anecdotes, examples, and exercises, to dig a little and learn a little before judging and assuming. The real life examples of people who have done this are surprising and inspiring. Which of us hasn't cringed when a certain person is seated next to us on a plane or train (dreading having to be a captive audience to them), only to find out that the person had an incredible story to tell or contacts into a world we were trying to enter? Living Curiously teaches readers how to break out of patterns of assumption and open themselves up to living a far more meaningful life.
Ready For New Possibilities And Life Adventures?
In a time where cynicism and confusion abounds, media propagates infinite amounts of shallow information, and people are searching for meaning, "Living Curiously" is a modern day bible for "being." Whether one is seeking love, work or career satisfaction, inspiration in daily living or increased education, the methodologies that can be immediately applied are not complicated, nor are they over simplifications. You will think; you will evaluate; you will ponder... and once you discover the divine morsels of insight, you will be thankful that you have something that impacts your life, in big ways, at last.
Cynicism is not the same as skepticism. Questioning is not the same as doubt. Figuring out what you're NOT... how refreshing! Concepts of creating and finding common uncommonlalities? Brilliant. I loved these lessons, in particular, because they were easy to grasp, and can be used anywhere, anytime! "Living Curiously" is not about false self-help platitudes or affirmations, (though these are fine, too). The information Becki Saltzman has spent years researching and is now sharing is about electing curiosity in life to be able to do great things, for yourself, each other and the world. How awesome is that?
I definitely suggest getting this book whether you are a CEO of a Fortune 500 company, or a volunteer at a public library. Living Curiously is for everyone who wants to discover more, make connections, find meaning and unravel a whole incredible realm of new possibilities and life adventures!
Live Curiously!
Like this book claims, it is not for everyone.
