    Non stop reading
Good book couldn't put it down I would like more in this series to read I love that it is non stop reading
good book seemed to target younger audience
I love all Bill Myers books including this one. It was very good read, dealing with a very important topic. My only thought is that it seemed that it was written on a younger audience level and though I enjoyed reading it I would have appreciate it if when an author is writing to a younger (teenage or young adult ) that it would be stated as such.
    good theme to talk about
We are reading the series with my son, good theme to talk about.
    My daughter loved it!
My teen daughter absolutely loved this series!
    Christain Books

This book was just okay. The narrator for the story was good. I listened to this book first before I listened to Strongholds( which is the first book you should read). I liked it, but it didnt catch me like the other books of this trilogy.

"Gunn has been writing about Katie and her friends for years, most notably in the popular Christy Miller Series. The dialogue that ensues is heartbreaking and utterly familiar to anyone who has ever been in Katie's shoes." (

    College is almost finished!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
As always, I always feel "in the book" like I am watching everything unfold. I am so "hungry" for the next book, but alas, it is not available on audio yet! This is about the continuing story of an RA who with God's help finds where her heart is knit and what is most important to her. It speaks to all of us who, are searching for direction, and God gently puts the "answers" right in front of us. It is up to us to open our eyes to see it!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Coming Attractions?
Star gazing, purity of characters, realistic life situations. I was an RA for 4 years and I can totally relate!
What about Emily Durants performance did you like?
    Voice changes for each character.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
What and whom will Katie choose?
    Any additional comments?
This left me so hungry for the next book! So glad it was published...but I'm waiting for the audio version!

    Good but slow
As always Wanda Brunstetter puts together a very well written story. This one was not one of my favorites. Don't get me wrong I still enjoyed it, but the beginning was really slow. I found myself wishing she would just get on to the climax of the story. I might have liked it more if I had read book 1 of the series and had a little more back ground into the characters. I will still continue to listen to her books.

©2008 Nichole Baart (P)2008 Recorded Books
    Critic Reviews:
"Baart communicates deep spiritual themes with a light touch, and some scenes, such as Julia and a friend watching cottonwood fluff ("summer snow") blow over a lake at sundown, are lovely. She also has a knack with characterization, and wise words come from both expected and unexpected places. This is a treat for faith fiction readers, and proves Baart is not just a one-hit wonder." (
    Publishers Weekly)
    Members Reviews:
    Enjoyed greatly.
Looking forward to more by Bart. Narration excellent and adds to the telling of the story. Want to know more.
    A wonderful followup
What was one of the most memorable moments of Summer Snow?
There were very many. Julia DeSmit is growing as a character, as her author/creator is growing as a writer.
What does Johanna Parker bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
I love this narrator. I want to pick up many more of her performances. Her depiction of Julia, her grandmother, and even young Simon was pitch-perfect.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
it made me laugh in spots and cry in spots. I felt Julia's understandable pain, anger, confusion and resolution as she grows to embrace and let go of people in her life.
    Any additional comments?
I love Nicole Baart's writing. Her characters are flawed and believable, and faith elements are neither preachy nor glossed over. You would need to read her first book "After the Leaves Fall" to understand much of the build-up in this book, but Baart is certainly an author to watch!

This is a touching chronicle of the loves, trials, and joys of a Michigan family in the first half of the 20th century.
    ©2001 Jerry B. Jenkins (P)2009 Zondervan
    Critic Reviews:
"Bestselling author Jerry Jenkins blends his acclaimed fiction-writing skills into a heartfelt discussion on how to trust God's will in times of suffering. In Though None Go with Me, Jenkins introduces Elisabeth Grace LeRoy, a woman whose faith is tested time and again. He opens with 45-year-old Grace answering her phone at midnight, only to be told that her son is still alive but trapped inside a wrecked car. Like many Christians, she finds herself questioning God. 'She had thought she understood grace, had told herself she understood sovereignty. But unless He spared her son ... she feared there was something about God she still didn't understand - and didn't like.'....Readers will certainly find themselves invested in this spiritually complex and highly likable heroine who somehow keeps her trust in God through the ultimate human struggles." (Amazon.com review)
    Members Reviews:
    terrific Christian book!
wow...at first I wasn't sure I would like this book. It seemed to start kind of slow...but as I kept listening I realized it was the story of a woman totally sold out to God throughout her lifetime. How God's faithfulness sees her though extremely hard times. There were times that were hilarious as I could just picture what was happening...but the main thing was the faithfulness of God to her......it had an ending I really liked...and that's all I will say about that so l won't spoil it for you. Needless to say I highly recommend this book! !!!
One of the best books I read!
The book is amazing! It made me laugh and cry, most of all it brought me to question my christian life... I feel closer to the Lord!!!
    Recommend to everyone!
    Over the top but engaging
I read this book years ago and decided to download it to hear it this time.
The story is great but the narration adds a bit too much sugar and naïveté to the main character. The text alone could show you her sincerity without the sing song voice. BUT I guess that's the danger in speaking aloud what was meant to be silently read.
    Still a fabulous story!
    Must listen!!
Where does Though None Go with Me rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
What a great example of Christian love, I was taken aback.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Though None Go with Me?
The main charter out lived all of her love ones, yet her life was such the example to follow after that even the oldest son, came to know Christ before he died. Didn't see that coming.

    1st book by the author
Never read anything from this author before as I tend to stick close to those I know. I listened to this in 2 days and was really gripped. The story came together well in the end. Will definately buy more from this author. The narrator was a little bland in at times.
