A Terrific Audiobook On A Topic I Love

I am so thrilled about this audiobook. Shamanism has been a lifetime interest for me and I've always had a hard time finding new listening/reading material and/or study guides to learn new things to enhance my journey. Gerry Starnes has done this. I love this book and I know I'll listen to it again.

"The Shamanic Journey" is a wonderfully comprehensive beginner's guide to journeying. I loved it as a reminder and a refresher on walking in two worlds. If you're beginning this journey, this is your audiobook. It's complete, it's real and you can do this. You'll learn about what it means to walk this path including your spirit animals, spirit guides, and how to prepare.

This is a must listen to for anyone interested in this subject as well as anyone who's just a little bit curious.

Charles Henderson Norman was the perfect narrator for this book. His voice and his tone were calming and relaxing making this an excellent listening experience. He spoke clearly and held my interest while I listened in one sitting. I look forward to more greatness from both author and narrator.

What other book might you compare The Shamanic Journey to and why?

I would not actually compare this book to another one. However, I would suggest that this should be used in conjunction with The Way of the Shaman By Michael Harner. Then followed up with Power Animals: The Role of Spirit Guides in the Shamanic Journey by Gerry Starnes. All 3 books are a good base for a personal journey.

No, this is the first time I have ever listened to Charles. I like his tone of voice it goes well with this subject matter.

Just Brilliant!

As a student of A Course in Miracles, this audio just blew me away. Listening ignited insight after beautiful in-sight in my mind. The reverence and respect with which Gary expresses his/the HS's Thoughts really touch something deep in my soul. There is something here that I can't put a finger on. Is it a practical framework with which to apply the Teachings of ACIM? Yes! And it's FUN! I must admit.... I never expected to actually see forgiveness as fun!

I can't wait to listen to it again.....exploring these ideas further in my day to day life.

I absolutely enjoyed every moment of this audiobook. I learned so much and it's one that I'll turn to repeatedly - and recommend highly.
