Great, Fun Chick-Lit!
After some heavier reading that was great, albeit a tad depressing, it was time for some light fare, and The Hot Flash Club more than delivered! I so enjoyed each of the key characters, their interaction and compassion and acceptance of one another's differences. Nancy Thayer writes with a great sense of humor and candor that had me laughing out load. I became addicted to hanging out with these women, and went on to read the rest of the books in the series (four in total). Naturally, I'd like to see more of this group, but I suspect that Ms. Thayer was ready to move on to new material.
I highly recommend this book to women over 50 who are looking for a great summer read.
