Another great Star Catcher book!

Another great novel in the family-friendly Star Catcher series. Again, like all the others in the series, this novella has great writing and benefits from really great narration.

In Cave of the Dark Wind we hear another adventure involving Peter's friends and Fighting Prawn's daughters on the island of Neverland while Peter is away. [SPOILER ALERT] It's an adventure with intrepid kids, a spooky cave, nasty pirates, bats, and a cursed treasure.

Highly recommended.

If this is your first book in the series, you'll want to read Peter and the Star Catchers first. There are two other novellas like this in the series, btw.

A really fun enjoyable story!

The story was fun and exciting. Jim Dale did a wonderful job narrating! Definitely enjoyable for all ages.

It's fun to see The infamous Captain Hook fail to the Lost boys again, but this time without Peter. I just love Jim Dayle!

Great Book

Love this book! Mildred D. Taylor is a wonderful author that tackles the very unpleasant, harsh reality of black people living in the Jim Crow south, with loveable, witty characters. This is the last book in her series involving the Logan family. I highly recommend her books!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't wait for the fourth!

We've just finished listening to all three books in a row. My children (12 and 8) really enjoyed them and I did as well. We listened on a long road trip and every time we got into the car they wanted to turn it on right away. The Cobra King was a little harder to follow for my younger one as it jumped forward and back between story lines and we paused more often to explain things. There was a little more 'gore' in this one near the end--more so than the other books, but still not overly so. I rated this one 4 stars instead of 5 like the other two just for the fact that I noticed some unexplained inconsistencies that perhaps listening to all three in a row were more noticable. But, it was still very enjoyable and the children actually would have rated each one '10' they said! We still can't wait for the fourth book to be released on Audible.

Adventurous tale, needs next book for resolution

Not as good as the first book in the series, but still with the hearing. Also, the ending is disquieting and clearly sets up the next book.

Lot's of Adjectives!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

My son wo deals with ADHD was able to sit and read this book by himself, so I was able to help my other child with h.w. and clean the kitchen. My son received an 85% on his Final Project.

Who was your favorite character and why?

After every reading my son would explain to me how Tao loved painting animals in the caves and his dog Ram was his sidekick.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

My son enjoyed reading a couple of chapters at a time, which was wonderful since his attention span needs improvement.

Any additional comments?

My son's Final Project was a pleasure to see him complete it on his own. My son felt a sense of accomplishment.

Good Classic

My 4 year old loves this audiobook. She plays it at night before she goes to sleep. The only thing I don't like about it, is it seems have many things going on at once. Other than that, it is a good dramatization of a classic.

A really amazing listen, with spot-on casting and superb voice-acting! The best dramatisation for children and adults I've heard from the BBC in a long time. No matter your age it's well worth a listen.

Down the Rabbit Hole (Unabridged)

This is a very sweet story about a young woman on the trail of a mystery. The main character is a teen ager, but her problems are grown up and she manages to get caught up in some fun situations. A great story, a fabulous narrator. Would be good for teen or adult listener!!

Excellent book!

This book by far, is one of the best teen realated mysteries I've read. By the end of the book you'll miss Ingrids company in the car, the CD player or wherever your listening from. Its a mystery that is full of humor, suspense, and adventure! It will keep you guessing through the end. I highly reccemond to teen or adult!!!

The end had me in shock, this is a MUST READ

At first it was a slow paced book and I got bored with it but after chapter 2 it got my attention. This book was amazing over all I would have given it 5 stars but then the end made me scared but I was shocked how amazing and well written it was I'm in LOVE with the end and the whole book but the end mad the whole book. I'm only 12 and I've read many good books but this one is definitely gonna be at the top for a long time. MUST READ IT WILL SHOCK U AND IS SOOOO AMAZING.
