Which scene was your favorite?

An entertaining romance that you would not want to miss! I like the humor, crazy antics, intense situations, and intriguing twists. A fantastic story for those who love a great happily ever after ending.

A great, fast-paced bad boy billionaire romance story with heartbreak, lust, secrets, love, and an HEA.

Lovely ending for a trilogy

I enjoyed the first book in this trilogy. Unfortunately I missed being able to get the second I can't afford it. I liked this one even more. I hate spoilers so I'll only say that if you like billionaire romances you'll enjoy these.

The narrator is really enjoyable he makes the story come to life, giving us different voices to tell characters apart.

Great Addition to the Maxfield Brothers Series

I really enjoy Leslie's writing style and this book was excellent. I have come to really like the Maxfield brothers. Even their dad is growing on me. I hope there will be more books in this series, although, we have run out of brothers. Perhaps a book for their dad...

The narrator did an excellent job bringing the story to life.

It is part of a series but you can easily read it as a standalone. It is nice to see the other brothers happy and their story interwoven into this book. Looking forward to more books by Leslie North.

I enjoyed reading this book very much. As always Jeanette Grey's characters are very complex. I will read more books by her.

Lexie was a type A girl. She was commanding and a little freaky in her demands. she didnât think beyond what she wanted and whenÂanything around her went against it she didnât deal well. That being said she was also vulnerable and scared. She held on tightly and wanted everything her way out of fear of those around her leaving her. she took control so she could control her heart as well. Dane didnât quite work the way she wanted.

As her assistant he anticipated her needs in so many ways. At the beginning, he was efficient at the office. He knew what she needed and when. He was attentive and delicious. But off limits. Lexie held fast to this due to her past. Now though they are goingÂaway toÂseal a deal for the company. This deal to Lexie will redeem her and show everyone that she is one to reckon with. that she is serious and on top. Except thingsÂdonât always go as we want.

Dane wantsÂlexie but keeps his distance. He is a sweet guy. Adventurous and lost. He has putÂthe wants of everyone else before his own and is in a job he finds suffocating. To make up for the safety of his life that appeases his mom, he lets go on weekends. He does daring adventures and frees himself of his world. Now he is on his way to work all the time with no release and with aÂwoman he wants. We see some explosive moments. Some seriously sexy moments. Dane is one sexy beast. he is demanding but also anticipates the needs of his lover and is there for them. He is honest and kind. He is by LexieâÂs side and doesnât leave her. No matter what. Lexie and him have some serious chemistry and intimate moments. We see them find out who the other is but also we see the beauty of submission and letting go.

I hated towards the end how Lexie was to Dane. She was distorting things and giving ultimatums that showed her need for control and to control all around her. Her fear of someone walking away pushes her to do things that are maddening. Evan her quirky brother hasÂher gain perspective and realize she needs to change. Dane started her change but it takes almost losing him for her transformation to be complete.

The story is sexy, sweet, fun, entertaining and endearing. I love how Lexie and Dane help inspire one another. How heÂrespects her and is by her side no matter what. I love how the forbidden becomes a delicious secret but also becomes real and tender.

Inner Girl Rising by Jan Springer was a great book. Paisley is a survivor of an abusive relationship. She decided to return to a place she once lived before. Paisley sees her two ex flames and decides to spark things up again. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by Jan Springer.

A bear oh my, oops spoiler

This is a fun story. I almost gave it a 3 but the scenes with the bear notched it up to a 4.

The narrator does a pretty good job, however I would have liked to see a little more differences in the 2 males voice. Sometimes I got confused as to whom was speaking.

You bet...the scenes were steamy and make you want to listen again and again.

What did you like best about this story?

Paisley started out as a carefree girl to a girl/woman in an abusive relationship. She manages to get out of the relationship but still has a fear that her ex husband will show up. She goes back to her "happy" place and reunites with Adam & Andrew and realizes that she can be happy again & with that knowledge, she realizes that she has enough strength to help put her ex husband behind bars for a long time after he sends his current girlfriend to the hospital.

What does Lacy Laurel bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

voices...makes you almost feel like you are in the scene not just reading it.

This is my first menage audiobook and although the story was interesting and well narrated, it really wasn't for me. This is no reflection on the audiobook, just a personal choice. However, I would recommend this if you are a fan of the menage romance genre.

Another good Jeff Mann read.

4.5 stars. This is another really good M/M story by author Jeff Mann. Not nearly as dark and steamy as some of his others (i.e., "FOG") but rather just a good read about a famous country star who is exposed as gay which in the fanatically religious south puts him on the wrong side of the Bible and ruins his career, income and almost his heart. He's really saved when he meets Lucas (not until well into the book), a young man also ruined by gay bigots (including his mother), who was in prison for several years (and abused) and is trying to put his life back together. There is definitely an older/younger vibe to the story that warms the reader's heart.

Lots of religious references (both good and bad), a little steam, and a lot of soul searching which might lead one to believe this would get a little tedious, but it never did for me.

Two brawling, ornery country boys who waded through a lot of crap to find one another.â

The above quote from the book sums it up pretty well. Set initially in the latter part of the 1990's the story revolves around the homophobia and dread of being gay in the "country" back then. Small town bigots, people using Old Testament religion to justify their hatred make this a pretty harrowing read at times. But the two men survive even if scarred mentally and physically.

To balance this is a vivid picture of life in the Appalachians. The good people, the scenery, the food. Boy, the food! I'd never heard of half the dishes they cooked or talked about, but I kept getting these urges to get up and eat!

I hope that times have changed and gay people are accepted better than they obviously were back then.

Coming from a different country where, even if homophobia exists it has rarely been this vitriolic or pervasive and where the press isn't nearly so invasive, I found it hard at times to connect with this story. Maybe the fact it was written in third person past tense rather than first person present contributed to my difficulty.

A gorgeous story!!

WOW!!!!! Once again, Anna Brooks took me on an emotional rollercoaster ride throughout PROVE ME RIGHT, and I didn't want to get off!! I loved that Liam and Meara were childhood sweethearts that were honest in their feelings for each other from a very young age, and despite the separation and demands of Liam being in a rock band, their love for each other never once faltered. I loved Meara, she was a strong heroine and her love and trust for Liam was commendable!! She was selfless as she let him pursue his dreams whilst she waited behind for him. And Liam, although a little less alpha than Ms. Brooks's usual heroes, my heart still broke for him as he battled with addiction and admired him for his perseverance to recovery. This is a emotional story that will make you feel for all the good and bad that these characters go thru.

This will grab your heart

Still recovering from my book hangover, this is by far, my favorite of the series. We previously met Meara with Charlotte and new of her relationship with Liam. This story had me completely caught up in their relationship from childhood straight through til they got married. The story really picks up once Liam leaves to tour the country with his band. Meara and Liam work through their 7 years of long distance relationships with a few ups and downs, but their love never faded. Liam was never tempted to cheat, but his substitution for his loneliness almost ended their relationship. I think my favorite part of the book was Liam's phone messages to Meara. The heart-wrenching feelings this provoked made you root for the two of them to find their happily ever after. Kudos to Anna Brooks, can't wait for the next book!

Nelson Hobbs and Neva Navarre are an incredible team of narrators. The emotions they provoke when reading this story make you feel. Not all narrators have this ability(I listen to a lot of books) and to have this is very special.

I liked this book. I liked how the heroine could truly relate to some of the heroâs experiences. They were sweet together. It was a little odd having the heroine being the pursuer in the relationship, and the hero with the insecurities and running away when things got difficult, but it worked.

Not the usual Beauty and the Beast

I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. When reading the description for this book you might just think, uh, another version of Beauty and the Beast. But it really isn't. Yes it has some of the same storyline, but it is so much better. The author gives you twists and turns, angst, and beauty in the written word. Give it a try.

Cute little short romance

I received this audiobook free for an honest review. I received book #2 of the Wedding Bet Series and had to buy book #1 in case I needed background for book number 2. It really wasn't necessary to read them in order. Book #2 does refer to the story in the previous book, but the author gives enough detail in each book that the reader understands the history. This was another cute, fast book by Leslie North. I enjoyed this light reading. Leslie does such a great job with a complete and detailed story as well as great development of the characters The narrator, Rose DeMarco, does a great job with separating each of the characters with her voice that it is easy to immerse yourself into this audiobook.

Fun Short Story

I enjoyed the first book in this series and book 2 is even better. I think the story flowed well and I stayed on the edge of my seat. It is always nice to see a playboy change his ways and fall for an unexpected woman.

The narrator did a fairly good job bringing the story to life.

There is some action, adventure, romance, some twists, and a sweet HEA. It is part of a series but you can read as a stand alone. Fast paced and enjoyable book.

This audiobook was given to me in exchange for unbiased review. this was a great, short and sweet read. plot seemed similar to the first book but was great anyway. I love to read about playboys turning into real honest relationship people. a good exotic romance in a reasonable amount of time.

From the first chapter it's clear that this is a series that needs to be listened to in order. This book has major spoilers for the first books so make sure you're listening to the series in order.

The narration for this book was good but I'm not a fan of all the characters voices, that said they were consistent.

Mark is hoping for a quiet summer in Sunriver as he contemplates his future in law enforcement, but a string of burglaries draws him from his self-imposed break from detective work and thrusts him into the middle of the investigation. To complicate matters, Nicole is in jeopardy, and he knows his growing feelings for her could cloud his judgment. Will their differing career goals be the end of their summer romance, or just the beginning of forever after?

Nice but predictable little love story.

Narration like listening to a valley girl, very sing-song. Annoying. Would not buy another book narrated by her.

A fun story with a grandma's dying wish fulfilled

I enjoyed this story, which is the first I have read by Kimberly Rose Johnson. I love how the main character, Nicole, has come to this small town to fulfill her grandma's dying wish, following a series of clues. Nicole is likable and relatable. It was fun to see where her grandma's clues led her. There were a few surprises along the way, including Mark, who comes with issues of his own.

I would like to read more from this author.

Loved the Scavenger Hunt Aspect

Would you listen to A Love to Treasure again? Why?

I really enjoyed the story line, but the narrator was not really my favorite, so although, I would possibly read the book again, I probably would not listen to it.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Love to Treasure?

I think my favorite part of the book was the thoughtfulness and adventurous spirit of the grandmother who conjured up a scavenger hunt for her granddaughter to follow after her death. I also loved it when she finds her grandmother's Bible. I know how much a Bible of my grandmother's would have meant to me.

What didnt you like about Sorrel Brigmans performance?

I can't really put my finger on explaining what I didn't like about the narrators style, but it just didn't suit my taste. At times I kind of wondered what the book would be like if I were reading it instead of listening to it.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

I didn't have any extreme reactions. The story was nice. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't overly emotional for me.

I think it would be awesome to go on a "treasure hunt" left by your grandmother for you before she passed away. That is exactly what Nicole Davis encountered. Her teaching job over and the summer ahead, she took off to a small town where she had special childhood memories. Her grandmother left clues for her to follow and some pretty amazing stuff.
