    Gripping story!
Despite the grammatical problems, in hooked into this story. I'm so looking forward to the third book but afraid to read it at the same time. Several reviews saying how disappointed they were with the ending.
That aside - book two is holding together. Ryder and Jaedan's story develops while Caia and Lucien's continues to build. Really wanted to smack Lucien for his stunts with Rose. More specifically, lack of response. To paraphrase the faerie, men are idiots. But Ryder shined men up by acknowledging his feelings and acting on them. Thank heavens.
Really enjoying this world that has been created. Great detail. I can visualize the scenes. Doesn't seem to flounder (with the exception of the inner turmoil of Caia & Lucien, but thank heavens they finally seem to get past it) and the action keeps building.
Off I go to see how the end unfolds!
Even better than the first -- excited to read the conclusion now!
4.5 stars -- Totally finished this book with my heart racing and my finger itching to one-click the next book in the series. I am soooooo thankful that this series is finished and so I don't even have to wait, b/c I became totally wrapped up in the world and all the crazy happenings going on.
I thought Caia grew up quite a bit in this book. And she was faced with so much adversity, from the meddling in her love life (which was kind of sad for me, b/c I missed having a bit more romance between Caia and Lucien) to her discoveries about both Covens. I thought she handled things pretty well given she sort of had the responsibilities thrust upon her. And while it was frustrating to see some of the misunderstandings happening between Caia and Lucien, I could see how it came about and mostly didn't want to smack them too hard (though I would have smacked more Lucien than Caia anyways). I really came to love Caia as the book went on, and felt for her having to make so many hard decisions and not feeling like she had anyone she could trust and turn to.
I also enjoyed getting to know Ryder and Jaeden through their POVs as well. I really loved their little side plot, it made me extremely happy....it provided that something that I was missing from the story otherwise (and yes, I'm vaguebooking b/c I don't want to spoil it necessarily, even if I totally saw it coming).
The bad guys have me all flustered. I honestly can't stand the girl bad guy (again, being vague), and was so glad to see that my dislike of that character was for good reason. And can I just say that I totally called who Kyrios was?? But not knowing what their plans are is just making me crazy!!!
So yeah, probably not a great review, but I was trying not to give anything away.

    Publisher's Summary:
Eric Warden knows that half-Shifter wildcat Iona is passing for human, living without a Collar in the human world. He also knows that if she does not acknowledge her Shifter nature and her mating hunger, it could kill her.

But Eric is a compelling Shifter male, and Iona's hunger calls to him.
    Critic Reviews:
"[Ashley's] characters are intense and full of passion, and there's plenty of action in this fourth book in the Shifters Unbound series. This is one of those great series that you can follow from the beginning, or pick up anytime for a satisfying [listen]." (Romantic Times)
    Members Reviews:
    I love this series!!!!!
I love this series it's fun and keeps you wanting ,more. And the narrator pulls you in with her voice and depiction of the characters
    GRRRREAT PARANORMAL WERECAT PURRRRFECTION
Well, if you've listened to the rest of the series then you know what you're gonna get - were-shifter towns, their inhabitants, their problems and fit bodied males (check out the cover girls - well if we have to dream let's dream big!!).
Right from Chapter 1 this draws you in as Eric (alpha were-snowleopard in his 'cat' form) stalks Iona (were-panther in her 'cat' form) through rugged terrain, finally catching and pouncing on her. She is an unclaimed and unmated female who's releasing some strong 'come and get me boys' pheromones and he's picked up her delicious scent and is only too happy to oblige..... but she is fighting her feline frenzy questioning who and what she is. There's a lot of sexual and physical attraction so Eric has to wait to claim her - but can he do it before other wereshifters pick up her enticing scent.
Interesting likeable characters along with some not so nice wolf shifters who become involved in a great storyline that has many subplots - namely; turf war, Alpha dominance, kidnapping (or should I say cubnapping), genetic engineering and, of course, the sexy, lustful romance between Eric and Iona.
Worth a credit? This was a very enjoyable and entertaining paranormal listen so that would make it a undeniable YES to the book and, if you haven't already listened to the others in the series (and you like the genre), then it's a YES x 4 to the whole series. So, do yourselves a favour and download them all - however, this could have been a stand-alone listen but hey life's short why deprive yourselves - download them all then give the tv remote to your husband, order in, get a babysitter (if needed), turn your phone off then my friends..... just sit back and ENJOY.
This is what I am Talking ABOUT!!!!!
I love the MATE THING!!!! YESSSS!!! WOW WOW!!! Ok... I loved this book. Fave in series right after book 1...
I don't know if is b/c Eric and Liam are alphas but thier books are the best ones in the series!!!
Eric is the leader of his shifter town and he is the brother to Cassie... book 3... who meets Iona... a half-shifter living in the human world (not in a shifter town) without a collar. And guess what ... Iona is an Alpha too...

A Good Book that no one knows about
What made the experience of listening to Blood Rights the most enjoyable?
I was an interesting story with in depth characters you could care about. A nice easy fun read, well listen.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Chrysabelle or Malkom. Cause they were well thought out and had more depth to them than most characters in books do.
What about Abby Cradens performance did you like?
She read the story very well and was easy to listen to.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
    Yes
    Any additional comments?
No one seems to know about this book it has no reviews, thats really sad cause its good. I just reviewed it to say I hope Audible puts out the rest of them anyway I want to hear more. They arent as great as some fantasy but I thought it was a much better story than that Fifty Shades of Nonsense so many people love. It's a lot like J R Wards Black Dagger Brotherhood books, but much better.
    Better than I expected.
Pretty good story and characters. Interested in reading the following books. Main character isn't week and dependent which I appreciate. Narrator didn't annoy me which happens a lot.
Comarre' Not my cup of tea.
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
I love Kristen Painter's Nocture Falls series, but I just could not get into this story. I am sorry I just didn't finish it.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I can't say. Where I loved the characters from her Nocture Falls books, I just didn't fall in love with the characters in this book.
Would you listen to another book narrated by Abby Craden?
    No opinion at this time.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
    Hmmm, probably not, but maybe.
    Any additional comments?
I feel bad giving this review. I loved Kristen's Nocture Falls series - which I have listened to several times over each book. I guess maybe the idea of being just a food source, even if rich....just didn't appeal to me. Sorry Kristen.
Great story, not so great narrator
This book reminded me of Memoirs of a Geisha Girl, but with a complex Urban Fantasy plot and kickass heroine. This review is based more on the story, and not on the narrator, who had some weird pauses, but was essential okay. She didn't add to my enjoyment of the story, and I got through by looking that my e-book at some parts.
It began with Chrysabelle, a comarré (a special race of humans bred to feed and attend vampire nobility) on the run, after her patron noble vampire, Lord Algenon was found murdered in his bedroom.

    Publisher's Summary:
Cas Lowood has inherited an unusual vocation: He kills the dead. So did his father before him, until he was gruesomely murdered by a ghost he sought to kill. Now armed with his father's mysterious and deadly atheme, Cas travels the country with his kitchen-witch mother and their spirit-sniffing cat. They follow legends and local lore, destroy the murderous dead, and keep pesky things like the future and friends at bay.
Searching for a ghost the locals call Anna Dressed in Blood, Cas expects the usual: track, hunt, kill. What he finds instead is a girl entangled in curses and rage. She still wears the dress she wore in the day of her brutal murder in 1958: once white, it is now stained red and dripping with blood.
Since her death, Anna has killed any and every person who has dared to step into the deserted Victorian she used to call home. Yet she spares Cas's life.

Great story for YA readers but ...
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narration was a bit off - full of odd pauses and unnatural emphasis on words. Also the accents and voice characterizations were awful and distracting.
Was Anna Dressed in Blood worth the listening time?
No. Do not listen to the audio version of this book. This is a great book for YA readers looking for a "creepy" read, but this audio version does not do the story justice and is very disappointing.
    Good story, terrible narrator
What did you like best about Anna Dressed in Blood? What did you like least?
This story was really fun...Just make sure you're not eating while you're listening! Some descriptions of the fights/attacks are gross (but good!).
Good character arcs, interesting twists at the end.
Would you be willing to try another one of August Rosss performances?
August Ross is a bad narrator because he basically sounds like a terrible actor. He is awkward. Unfortunately, I think his reading loses a lot of the humor of Cas.
    I was hopeful
The narrator had a really weird delivery a lot of his dialogue. It was so distracting that I can never only get into the book. The concept was interesting, The author should decided whether it was a adult Book or a preteen book.
    Interesting Twisty Story, Terrible Narration
Every time I thought I could predict what would happen next, the plot through me for a loop! Genuinely enjoyed the story and all the characters within.
But the narrator didn't have enough range. His voice for a teenage girl was vapid, even though the character was not. Similar to the male best friend. His Haitian accent was non-existent, so I was a bit disappointed.
But I did enjoy the story.
    Adequate story, awful narrator
What did you like best about Anna Dressed in Blood? What did you like least?
I liked the concept of the book, but the narrator is awful.
What was one of the most memorable moments of Anna Dressed in Blood?
The opening ghost, the hitchhiker, was really cool.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
This narrator was terrible. He pauses at odd moments every 2-5 words and sounds like almost everything he says is a question. It's like the Family Guy's imitation of William Shatner, except with a voice that sounds like he's barely out of adolescence. I would have thought it was a self-published author who asked his friend to narrate the book for him.
Was Anna Dressed in Blood worth the listening time?
    No

    THIS BOOK IS MUCH BETTER
This is the book in the series that starts to change. The first two book kind of have a strong twilight influence thing going on that i personally didnt care for but worked in its own way. When i got to this book i really didnt want to sit it down. great relationships between the characters and the narrator is pretty good too.
Yet another slam dunk for Hocking
I love almost everything I've ever read by Amanda Hocking, this series in particular is a personal favourite! Highly recommend this series.
    Dead End
Author rule #1: do not change your characters mid story. Stoic people became whiney, reasonable people became thoughtless and petty, and boring people became... okay that one stayed the same. Still horribly written, still generic, Flutter is the same as its first two books except now Alice is a vampire.
How does one make a vampire boring? Feel free to read this series to find out. I feel like I should write more to make this a helpful review but that is pretty much all i need to say. Also, I feel I have already wasted enough time on this series. If you want a better vampire novel, read Twillight (that's saying something).
On to the Fourth ... (Spoilers)
Would you try another book from Amanda Hocking and/or Hannah Friedman?
I'll definitely read all the books in this series, though I found this one (with the exception of the lichen-vampire battle at the climax) to be too similar to Fate, the second book in the series. This said, the lovesick vampire, Peter remains bewitching and fascinating and Bobby, the new love interest of Milo, Alice's gay brother turned vamp, breathes fresh air into a somewhat slow plot.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
Given the uproar 'outside the door' at the end of
    Which scene was your favorite?
Again, the Peter-Alice exchanges are always intriguing. I can feel the anxt and pain of Pater and the temptation besieging Alice and I cannot anticipate what will happen next.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No ... I think I would pass on Part 3, as it moves a bit too slowly for me - not enough changes in the story to justify sitting through a 90 minute screen adaptation. It should just be rolled in with the second novel ....
    VERY UPSET
What made the experience of listening to Flutter the most enjoyable?
It was a good series that I enjoyed. I have over 1400 Audible books and this one series has sadden me. Alice should be with Peter. Although Jack is a good person, He has stolen what was his brothers. Jack has an internal problem because he has been dead then brought back. Jack knew in given his blood to her would be a betrayel of his brother and the hate towards his brother is based on his own guilt. Alice should be told that he knew in given her his blood that it would break the bond between her and Peter.

    okay once it gets going
This book ends up being okay, but the character and story-line development takes a good half of the book, leaving only the last third of the book to actually be good. The book takes place in only a couple of weeks, but a lot and yet very little occur in that time frame. The main female character is not a strong character, and it takes very little to get her attention. You end up understanding that her strong attraction to the male character is something entirely different than you initially think, but it doesn't improve her weakness. The narrator is pretty horrible, very choppy and slow, but oddly enough she has a rhythm that you can eventually get in with and not annoy so much. And thankfully, my MP3 player has a fast playback feature for audiobooks. So overall, this is an okay listen, just okay enough that I will give the second book a try.
    GOOD BOOK
I JUST FINISHED THE AVAILIBLE BOOKS IN THS SERIES AND I HAVE TO SAY I WAS A BIT ANNOYED WITH I STARTED LISTENING TO THIS BOOK. I NEVER REALLY EXPECT THE FIRST BOOK IN A SERIES TO BE THE BEST BUT I WAS ALMOST REALLY DISAPOINTED BECAUSE I JUST REMINDED ME OF THE TWILIGHT BOOK. IT WAS PROBABLY THE AUTHORS BIGGEST INFLUENCE AND IT REALLY SHOWS. BUT... THE STORY IS REALLY GOOD AND THE AUTHORS DID DO A GREAT JOB ON THE SERIES SO IT IS WORTH LISTENING TO AND GETTING T NEXT BOOK.
    Don't waste your money
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
This is by far the worst book I ever listened to. I don't think anything would make this book
    Worth listening
Has My Blood Approves turned you off from other books in this genre?
    No
How did the narrator detract from the book?
    Narator was too slow
If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from My Blood Approves?
    Oh god, every one
    Any additional comments?
I usually don't write bad comments but this time I had to. If you value your credits or your money stay away from this one. Honestly, bad writing, ridiculous dialogue, immortal people who act dumber than teenagers and most of all the stupidest main character.
My Blood Approves - But my Brain does not
I feel like a few brain cells died, flinging themselves over a cliff just to escape this horrid nonsense. I'd give it all 1 star if it weren't YA but even then I feel like teenagers are being cheated. Simply put, this is Twilight watered down.
No plot, no endgame (at least where I'm at just before the start of Part 2), Alice is a shallow, self-absorbed, 17-year-old idiot who has clearly never heard the word vampire despite throwing up werewolf as an excuse for Jack's strange behavior.

    4.1/2 stars (over all)
Once again Larrisa Ione and Hillary Hubard teamed up to deliver a fantastic and super entertaining listen.
As usual this entry is full of excitement, passion and that undeniable sexy flavor typical of Ms.Ione's novels.
    Urban Fantasy-Paranormal Romance
    Sensuality- Very Hot
Part of a series- no recommended as a stand alone.
    VT. FAN
Where does Immortal Rider rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
I WOULD RANK THIS IN THE TOP20. IN FACT THE ENTIRE DEMONICA SERIES AUDIOBOOKS WHICH IS THE PRELUDE TO THE LORDS OF DELIVERANCE SERIES ARE ALSO VERY WELL DONE.
Which character as performed by Hillary Huber was your favorite?
HILLARY HUBER DOES BOTH MALE AND FEMALE CHARACTERS VERY WELL SO LIMOS AND ARIK ARE THE FAVORITE.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
BOTH BUT THE BEST THING IS THAT WHEN ITS DONE YOU ACTUALLY MISS THE CHARACTERS.
    Any additional comments?
THE DEMONICA AND LORDS OF DELIVERANCE SERIES ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY. AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
    Even better than the first!
I thought the first book in this series was fantastic and this is even better! This time I am more familiar with the many characters in the series and the complex world. The thing about this story is that it is unexpected and unpredictable. I found it difficult to press pause because I wanted to know how everything was going to turn out. The main couple limos a.k.a. Famine and Arik have wild chemistry and a chastity belt between them! And then the background story to the third book begins and it sound soooo interesting that I had to buy that title even before AI finished this one. Larissa Ione is so talented and she has a way of keeping you interested in the romance and in the whole intense dark storyline.
Narration: Hillary Huber again does an excellent job with this book. Great male voices and you can always tell each character apart. And she definitely added intensity, suspense and sexiness. 5 star plus Paranormal Romance!!!
Enjoyed the first one more; this one's still good
This book actually started at the end of the first one. Though the first part of this book recaps what happened during the last part of the previous book, I'd encourage you to read them in order. It'll give you a better idea about what's happening, why and who the characters are.
Regarding the actual story, it's good, but not as good as the previous.

    First steampunk book for me
This is the first steampunk book I've listened to. I like this one so much that I'm going to listen to others by this author. The story is well paced, and the characters are anything but predictable. The narrator is excellent. She is so good that sometimes I felt like I was watching a movie - she really makes the story come alive. Now onto the next one!
    a fascinating and dangerous world
I really enjoy the world that Brook sensei built. The characters of this book live in a fascinating and dangerous world. I mean there are nano bugs, zombies, air ships, lord and ladies, king, pirates and balls! What is NOT to like.
I also loved Mina, the tortured but strong and stubborn heroine. If I am not mistaken, she has Asian blood and thus ostracized by society. Heroine with Asian blood in that period is rare and I liked that. Rhys is also a memorable character but I was sort of put off by his serious lack of social understanding. From his past I can understand the reason why, but for a smart character I thought he had a real blind spot. My favorite character of all is the always drunk Scarsedale! He was a wonderful addition as well as members of the police, Yasmeen and Mina's wonderful family. The story itself revolving around the murder and mystery and eventually the conspiracy was also great.
Only complaint I have is that for me there were a bit too much sex scene with TMI. I admit they were hot and steamy but not for reading(listening) on the train... LOL
    Amazing detail and story!
I was very impressed with this story! I was a little hesitant to get it but am very glad I did. This story had everything, action, science fiction, history, and romance. The author was able to make the details believable and I loved to imagine the world she created. Definitely worth the credit!
    Great Adventure!
After reading the short story of Here there be Monsters, which is a prequel to this book, I was ready to consume all the steam punk that has been written in this series. I had never read steam punk before and didnt have a clue what it means. So after looking it up it means in short using sci-fi technology, history, fantasy and combining them in a story. The story is a little confusing the first hour, but it prevailed and made a wonderfully fun adventure.
Great Book, And a Gem of the Genre
I loved listening to this book. I love the narration, as it seemed to be effortlessly read with attention paid to all the correct accents, easily identifiable voice details, as well as excellent attention to the diction and speaking styles of each different character.

    Deeply Moving.
What made the experience of listening to Dawn's Awakening the most enjoyable?
This is one of Lora Leigh's best yet. I had hoped Dawn's story would be worth the wait and it didn't disappoint. Once I got started, I couldn't stop till it was over.
It is a story of survival, hope and faith. This is a deeply moving story of horrible child abuse and the emotional scars that come with it. It tells of the effect it has on her family, friends and ultimately the man that loves her. Dawn's story will break your heart, then make you rejoice with her when she overcomes her devasting past and finds happiness.
    Disappointing
This book wasnt for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
I really expected more from Dawn's story. It may be the weakest link in the whole series after Bengal's Heart, maybe followed closely by Lion's Heat. I think new readers may find it more interesting, but not those who follow the series.
Has Dawn's Awakening turned you off from other books in this genre?
No, but when a good writer throws such a bad bone to readers, it is a real shame.
Would you be willing to try another one of Brianna Brontes performances?
Ms. Bronte must work on her characterization. She very nearly put me off Jonas and Cabal, and her Dawn and Cassa sound exactly the same.
What character would you cut from Dawn's Awakening?
It was not the characters so much as the unnecessary melodrama. Drama is fine, but melodrama - not so much. I think Ms Leigh ran out of good angles with this series, and if so, she should respect her own work enough to let it go.
    Any additional comments?
I hadn't expected the story to drag so much, as Ms Leigh is in general capable of much better fiction than this. A shame she failed to deliver with the some of the most memorable characters - Dawn, Cabal and Jonas.
    Love this book!!
Of all the books in the Breed series, I think this might be my favorite.
    Unexpected Surprise
This is a hidden gem. I'm honestly stunned by how good this story turned out to be. Truth be told you don't expect great writing in this genre or truly compelling characters, Ms. Leigh serves up both here. No not every line is prize worthy but there are great turns of phrase thoughtful compelling moments of understandable turmoil and a nice exploration of how one views the evidence of a higher power in their life. Dawn's pain at the thought of losing her mate is palpable. Her suffering made her strong but her lack of faith in god she stopped praying too has left her isolated even among her kind. The foolish interference of the men in her life and the outrage at them for stealing choices that should only have been hers wrings true. Her innocence despite the nightmare she endured in the labs feel genuine too.
