If you are new to the "lifestyle", or interested in learning more about BDSM and the different types of DS relationships, this is a great starting place. There isn't a "BDSM Bible", so you will find variations in how it is defined and relationships people form. This is based on Mike's views and experiences in the lifestyle.

Mike uses some of his personal experiences/failures/lessons learned as examples. Some of these I found amusing. I was surprised he touched on different religions and how BDSM would fit in with it, if at all. I didn't necessarily agree with it, but interesting to hear his viewpoints.

Mike also touched on potential legal implications, even though it is between consenting adults. Having the police show up at your hotel room, or standing before a judge with sex offender charges, is not a circumstance any of us want to be in ... but can happen.

Definitely worth the money and time. However, I would recommend listening to it at 1.5 speed, as the reading was a little slow for my taste.

Fantastic overview, entertainingly presented.

By chapter 2, I bought this audiobook for my own Dom. Even though I'm experienced and have been active in the BDSM lifestyle, this book was a great broad-brush overview that helped me to understand the drivers for kinksters who differ from me, as well as giving some great food for thought and some great conversation topics that have helped us to grow as a D/s couple. Listening to this book is like hanging out with someone who's "been there, done that" and normalizes an alternative lifestyle in a clear, positive manner, gratifyingly without the posturing that's all too common. My Dom and I have had some truly amazing and revealing conversations as a result of this book, and I'm so very glad I've had the opportunity to listen. Oh, and great narration too. :)

Helped ease some questions, but not go-to guide

This helped remind me that women want to be pleased the same as men, it just can take longer at times. Us me are very impatient, so constant reminders to take our time and focus on the goal. this is a great read very short but full of information if your in need of knowledge of this subject this is a great start!!

Not every woman likes oral...

From my recent experience, many woman aren't like the ones you see in porn movies who really, really enjoy oral sex. It seems like the woman I get involved have one issue or another than makes it difficult for them to relax and enjoy me pleasuring them. The thing I got the most out of with this book was the chapter on why women feel uncomfortable what a man can do to help them feel better and even let go of their anxiety and enjoy themselves.

The rest of the book was pretty much like every other oral sex book out there (explaining about the female body and different oral techniques). But I had never come across a book in which the author gets into the woman's head and explains her fears. For this reason, I am recommending this book.

Most helpful from the series

You know what's funny? I learned a valuable lesson from this book that I didn't think I would get. In the past, I have bought Tommy Orlando's other books because I wanted to learn how to be the best PUA as possible. I was obsessed with wanting to know how act and what to say when I was with a woman. While this book doesn't go extremely deep (excuse the pun) as some books and videos do when teaching how to give oral, the thing I took away from it was how to please a woman and that giving physical pleasure goes way beyond trying to constantly act like you're Mr. Cool.

I'd like to think I'm pretty decent when it comes to this sort of thing, but, when it came to the instruction part of the book, I took away an idea or two that I plan on using in the near future. Let's face it, if one idea can make a night with a beautiful woman amazing, it was worth the price of the book.

another fun book by Tommy Orlando

Good advice on oral sex, especially when combined with his "Make Her Squirt" book. A good foundation, including lots of stuff you may already know, but if you're like me, you can sometimes forget those things in the "heat of the moment."

I use this to brush up on my skill set and come up with a plan of action when I'm dating a new woman. Always get compliments on my technique, too! :)

As you can tell by the cover and title, Tommy has a good sense of humor. If nothing else, take away that attitude and you'll be in good shape.

Thorough, Intelligent, Well Written Guide

This was a fascinating listen. The author comprehensively covers the female body and orgasm and details exactly what women can do together with a partner or alone to maximize their sexual experience.

The discussion of the chakras and how opening them through the various means detailed in the book enhances sexual experiences was truly eye opening. It definitely changed the way I look tantric massage and has inspired me to investigate the subject further.

I loved how the author discussed many of the experiences he had with helping women to fully embrace their sexuality. Each case was different but imparted an important lesson that can be applied in every woman's life.

I also loved that the author also discussed the male orgasm and how tantric methods apply to men as well.

I thoroughly enjoyed the entire book but I think my favorite chapter was Chapter 14: Tantra Quickies. In a time starved world this provides numerous options which each take only ten minutes.

The narrator, Marie Helene, was the perfect choice. Her sultry voice leant the perfect tone to the material and made the book a true joy to listen to.

If you're looking for a thorough, intelligent, well written guide to the female orgasm you have found it in this book. I definitely highly, highly recommend it to women and men alike.

Been there, done that

Accurately describes the first impressions and experiences of a newby into the world of Asian massage parlors. I was disappointed that this book did not provide any new insights into the culture or the mindset of the women who work these places.

Not Worth the Read.

Omg, you need to give the reader something he can't find on the Internet in 5 minutes. Worthless dribble! Makes me want to write a book and tell how everything really works!

Obviously the author has frequented many AMP's. For what its worth, a guide to paying for relatively safe sex. OK.

Controversy abrewing

I think this is one of those books that is just ripe for flaming and I am surprised the discussion hasn't heated up yet to the point of throwing feces at each other. I suppose most people who got this book are the guys who are actually interested in finding "massage" parlors in their area. As such, they would probably stay quiet and try not to attract attention to themselves.

As the book will get more popular, as I am sure it will - it's written pretty well so I don't really see why it wouldn't - a few different types of readers will pick it up. The ones that drive their high horses from one high moral ground to another, the ones who are somewhat clueless in the ways of the word, like writers, for example - Hello :P , and the kind who like to flame just for the sake of it.

So, let me put a couple of thoughts down before this thread becomes too hot to handle:

1. Sex workers are people too. When you get all morally outraged about the industry after reading this book, try to keep that in mind and dial down the hating, OK? They are also most likely one of the reasons you don't get beaten up or shot anytime you cut off someone you probably shouldn't on the road. So, be at least a little grateful.

2. You can put down the Johns all you like for it is a politically correct thing to do but you don't really know who they are, do you? Look at your friends, relatives, and coworkers after reading this book and ask yourself - do they? Maybe? Ponder on that for a while.

3. I had no idea that there were three different "massage" parlors that provide "extra" services in just ten minutes driving radius from my house and another dozen or so in less than half an hour. If you thought you lived in a nice, clean, crime-free area, think again. Looks like these places are everywhere. Changes that safe and cuddly feeling you had about the world around you, doesn't it?

In conclusion: I am not even sure how long this book will stay here. Someone just might complain a little too loudly pretty soon and who knows...

Good info, poor delivery.

This book contains more or less the same information regarding muscle control and exercises you'll find in most male orgasm guides, a lot of which IS extremely useful and works. However, the narrator reads extremely fast and mechanically. The book starts off with alot of brainwashy catch phrases about becoming the alpha male and how much more attractive to women the alpha male is, blah blah blah. That's just irritating marketing. I like to learn new things, but the patronizing marketing is abrasive. Once she gets into the actual methodology and exercises it's good stuff. But like I said, nothing different from any other book on the topic, so why not find one read at a decent pace, with enthusiasm and no pandering alpha-jargon. The stars are given for content only.

horrific delivery and writing

this sounds like a robot reading a cult manual. After listening for 15 minutes I had to shut it off, it was unbearable both in delivery and writing style.

absolutely ridiculous. my husband and I are very mature and couldn't take anything seriously. it also sounded like a robot voice was narrating.
