Indecent proposal
How I Was Seduced and Taken by a Romantic Alpha Billionaire is the story of an indecent proposal between Braddy Ryker and chef Natalia who is in charge of the restaurant in one of his properties. The story is spicy and sexy while filled with emotional questions of morals and desires. The prologue set the tone of a man who is obsessed in love. The language in the text is sometimes confusing. Also I wondered if there were editing issues because it seemed like important events were missing though they were referenced later in the story. It has all of the right ideas for a hot, sexy romance, but could benefit from some more proofreading and pages.
Steamy Page-Turner!
I'm definitely a fan of Sherell Brown-Mitchell's work so anything of hers is guaranteed to be an entertaining read. How I Was Seduced & Taken by a Romantic Alpha Billionaire was absolutely no exception. The novella centers on Natalia, a bright, young restauranteur who finds herself on the wrong end of the chopping block (pun intended) when the lease on her restaurant needs an extension. In swoops Braddy Ryker, the titular billionaire, and the obligatory whirlwind romance ensues, peppered with some incredibly steamy moments that will excite and delight fans of erotica. I will keep this review spoiler free and simply say that I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read. Initially I was concerned by the parallels to 50 Shades and hoped it wouldn't mimic that format too closely. Thankfully, it's quite original. If you're looking for a page-turning short(ish) story with likable characters and just the right mix of romance and sexual chemistry, you should absolutely give this a read!
Putting Romance in Perspective
Sherell Brown-Mitchell, the Charlotte, North Carolina based author provides an all-encompassing romantic interlude. She has developed her ARC well and has enough twists to keep the reader interested throughout the story. The Initial Condition of the character begins the story with a âKnotâ that works the story from the onset.
