The computer programmer she met in line at the bank? Or the one who was apparently using that image as a cover story? The search for her husband - and answers - takes Summer ever deeper into a world of organized crime, where people are used one moment and discarded the next. And with her deepest relationship of trust already shattered, Summer doesn't know who to believe. Great story; painful narration
Would you try another book from Lynette Eason and/or Meredith Mitchell?
Definitely from Eason but never from Mitchell
What did you like best about this story?
    Intrigue; Christian perspective
Would you be willing to try another one of Meredith Mitchells performances?
Never. I have tried to listen to this book three times. I enjoy the story but her narration is so grating that I just can't make it through the book.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
    Yes
    Any additional comments?
Such a shame that a different narrator didn't do this. I love this author but if this was my only exposure to her, I doubt I'd ever pick her books up again.
    Heart-racing and lovely
This is my 2nd book by Lynette Eason, and I loved it just as much as the first. It is such a pleasure to read/hear crime novels, which I love, that are non compromising on the Word of God, and there is no profanity. Story kept me on the edge, and narrator was fantastic too. God bless you both!
    Good title.
This was a new author for me to buy. I was glad there was not the cussing in it that some other mysteries have. There was not a lot of new stuff in it, but the wife who had been lied against so many times reacted the way I would have. So many young people today do not have the character of the older generation. Honesty matters.
    I couldn't finish
The heroine was a stereotypical helpless female who fought her protector at every turn & questioned everything he asked her to do (even as they are being hunted by men who wanted to kill them) - I finally couldn't take it anymore & decided that she probably deserved to be left to her fate and put out of her misery.......the other characters I liked (at least as far into the story as I got)
    No One To Trust
The book was exciting and captivating. The book is a good read or audible book.

Another engaging story in this series
This is audiobook 6 of the Red Stone Security series, but know it is definitely is a stand alone.
The story centers around Iris Tarango and Wyatt Christiensen. She is a former Marine and currently a well respected operative at Red Stone Security. Wyatt is a very successful businessman owning hotels in Vegas, and various other companies. They have been friends since they were 10, growing up poor but making a name for themselves. An underlying chemistry has been there fror a while.
What happens in Vegas , doesnt always stay in Vegas. She flees back to Miami after spending a week with Wyatt in Vegas.
When he is in need of a bodyguard , Wyatt hires Red Stone Security and requests Iris as his bodyguard.
Without giving away the plot lets just say that its a fast paced story, the friends to lovers and more is intense, the suspense, bad guys and gun for hire will have you on the edge of your seat, and the twists and turns will keep you on your toes.
Oh, and the author mentions the Serafina hotel Wyatt is planning on building. That has encouraged me to check out the authors, The Serafina Sin City Series.
I was gifted this audiobook. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

    Truly, I enjoyed this Book
Would you consider the audio edition of Storm Warning to be better than the print version?
I suppose both of are good but I do like the story read to me a lot!!!
What did you like best about this story?
that the man she could not forget and still loved did love her back.
Which character as performed by Nancy Wu was your favorite?
    it was all good
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
    No. Nothing extreme.
    Any additional comments?
It was just a good entertaining story with some who done it some suspense, some good character's and especially love!!!
    Meh...
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
Narrator gave the main character a childish and winy voice.
    Any additional comments?
Very cheesy and the romance between the two main characters is weird and creepy.
    no good.
This book read like a murder mystery game, I just couldn't get into it. The narrator was great but not even that could help. I did finish it but it wasn't easy.
    Mediocre At Best
This book wasn't my favorite from Nora Roberts. I realize it's an older book but overall it just wasn't the best. I didn't like the dynamics of the relationship between the leads and I just didn't think the overall story was put together well. I couldn't wait for it to be over.
    not a good story
I am sorely disappointed in this book. story was to long. to much going on

When she arrives, the warning of the coachman begins to echo in her memory, for her aunt Patience cowers before hulking Uncle Joss Merlyn. Terrified of the inn's brooding power, Mary gradually finds herself ensnared in the dark schemes being enacted behind its crumbling walls - and tempted to love a man she dares not trust.

would be amazing except for one thing
Would you try another book from Daphne du Maurier and/or Tony Britton?
Daphne du Maurier is one of my favorite authors. The narrator here was fantastic, except for one thing: the voice he puts on for Mary Yellan. He makes her sound like a flighty simpering simpleton. Considering this is not her character at all and that she is such a strong character, that she is one of the pillars of the book, this is a fatal flaw.
What did you like best about this story?
The haunting, evocative descriptions of place - you really feel like you are there in Cornwall. The wonderfully chilling suspense. The characters. Everything about the book, really.
Did the narration match the pace of the story?
    Yes.
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
    Yes!
    Any additional comments?
The voice of Mary is terrible. It pretty much ruins the narration, which is so sad, because otherwise it would have been an amazing audiobook.
    Not DuMaurier's best
Lots of moody discription, a slim plot, brooding characters. This isn't the best of Daphne DuMaurier's books, but it still has merit for its excellent prose. Other reviewers have noted that the narrator is just awful with female voices, although the rest of his narration is dramatic and well done.
An Exciting Adventure with Truly Evil Characters
When young Mary Yellan's mother, lying on her deathbed, makes her daughter promise she will seek out her aunt Patience for shelter, the dying woman can have no idea of the curse she is putting on her daughter. On the way to Jamaica Inn by coach, where Mary Yellan has learned her aunt has been living with her husband, she learns that the inn has earned a terrible reputation and that no proper lady or gentleman dare approach the place. Upon arrival, she discovers her aunt Patience is half mad with fear and that her uncle Joss Merlyn is a violent drunken brute who threatens her to keep her place and to take no notice of the nightly goings on; that she is to keep her eyes and ears shut and ignore any strange noises or risk bodily harm. But Mary is curious and headstrong and soon finds out her uncle is a smuggler involved in terrible crimes. She resolves to bring him to justice, putting herself in great peril, though she doesn't want to put her aunt at risk as well. An exciting adventure with truly evil characters and a surprising plot twist near the end. I really enjoy Rebecca du Maurier and only seem to grow fonder of her writing with every book of hers I readher unique mixture of strange human behaviour with beautiful descriptions of the wilds of Cornwall make for an irresistible combination.
A note about the narration, as others have pointed out: Tony Britton is a first class reader, but for his imitation of women's voices which are truly terrible.

The all-new KGI novel by New York Times best-selling author Maya Banks.
The Kelly Group International (KGI): A super-elite, top secret, family-run business. Qualifications: High intelligence, rock-hard body, military background. Mission: Hostage/kidnap victim recovery. Intelligence gathering. Handling jobs the U.S. government can't
Eden is said to be one of the most beautiful women in the world. Her face has graced countless magazines and her body has sold millions of dollars of clothing. But her fame and beauty has earned her more than she ever imagined. Evil is stalking her, determined to extinguish the ethereal beauty forever.
Swanson or "Swanny" as his teammates call him is always up for the next mission. He came back from Afghanistan wounded and scarred. Hardly the kind of man who even belongs in the same room with Eden. And yet there's something about the quiet beauty that stirs his blood and makes him dream of the impossible. Because Beauty loving the Beast only happens in fairy tales and KGI doesn't deal in fairy tales. Ever.
    Members Reviews:
DISAPPOINTMENT on an otherwise splendid series!
I have listened to the entire KGI series with full enjoyment...until this one! Even the narration fell short! The storyline was shallow and heavily outweighed with sexual content. I have always loved the balance of story vs. sex that Maya Banks achieved in the KGI series. However, in this book...if you divided it into thirds, it would shake out as 1/3 storyline and 2/3 sex. The storyline didn't truly kick in until the last hour of the book. Adam Paul didn't deliver on the establishment of the characters either. He made the main male character seem like a high schooler with a major crush and absolutely NO self confidence at times. The main female character moved WAY too fast which made her unbelievable (considering she was suppose to be a virgin). Come on Maya!!!! You can do better than this! I think if you took the time to LISTEN...not read the entire book, you would quickly pull it from the series.
Wish I could recommend this to other readers, but just can't do it! I have in the past hooked my friends on this series and will continue to highly recommend all the other books in the series with the exception of this one. Not worth the credit!
Pretty good addition to the series :)
    3.5-4 stars
This was a pretty good story. I already liked Swanny from previous books and was hoping that he's find someone that would love him past his scars. Eden ended up being a great match for Swanny as she has a big heart and doesn't care about his scars.
Eden is a model and considered one of the most beautiful women in the world. She lost her mom years ago but is close to her dad and 2 brothers. Regardless of her job as a model, Eden is very down to earth and a nice woman. She's milking her career while she can, knowing that models have a short shelf life and she needs to work while she's in demand.
Swanny used to be a soldier but lost a lot when he was taken as a PoW with Nathan Kelley. They escaped together and returned to the states (in book #4 Whispers in the Dark) but Swanny was left badly scared. Swanny ended up joining the KGI team and has been relatively happy.

Emma decided to skip the gym and went home early. It was the last easy decision she made because she found her roommate being raped by her boyfriend. She had two choices: Call the cops and be killed by his family's mafia connections or kill him first and hope to survive.
There was no choice to her. She killed the bastard first and went to the one person who could protect her: Carter Reed. He's a weapon for the rivaling mafia family, but he's also Emma's secret. Not only was he best friends with her brother, but she's the reason he became that weapon in the first place.
    Members Reviews:
HE SAID "I WOULD DECLARE WAR FOR YOU"
Carter Reed told Emma that he would declare war for her, how do you resist a man like that. I know I couldnt. I absolutely adored this book. Im not usually the romance thriller type of reader but Im so glad that I decided to step out of my genre and give this book a try. Emma makes a quick decision in the blink of an eye to save her roommate that was being raped by her boyfriend, kill him. Afterwards, there is only one person she knows who can now protect her and her roommate for the mob that will shortly come looking for her and his name is Carter Reed. Carter Reed has earned a reputation as the cold killer and it is truly well earned. He is lethal and ruthless. He will kill to keep safe the things he values and loves and Carter Reed has loved Emma her entire life.
I was captivated by this book from the first sentence. Seriously, after Emma kills the boyfriend I was literally glued to this audio. Carter is cold, ruthless and vicious but with Emma everything is different. Emma sees a side of him that no one has ever witnessed before and Emma realizes that he is both the cold killer and her passionate lover. Emma is strong and loyal. It is some moments in the book that Emma makes stupid decisions and you have to think, what in the hell are you thinking. But for the most part, its an unbelievable ride. SO GOOD.
Is this book worth a credit, umm you better believe it. Buy this book, sit back and enjoy a fun, sexy, unbelievable ride.
Mr ALPHA - Those eyes, all those dark Promises
    Any additional comments?
Everything changes for Emma the day that she alters her normal routine and walks in on her best friend and roommate being raped by her boyfriend. Something inside her snaps when she realizes she has two choices - turn him in and risk punishment by his fathers mafia connections or kill him and run... The pain and suffering she watches her roommate endure, even for moments, makes that decision for her. She retrieves a gun and kills him herself. Sealing her fate and changing her life. Forever...
On the run with nowhere to go she has only one place to turn. Her brothers oldest friend and now a hit man for a rival mafia group: Carter Reed... Carter Reed is absolutely swoon worthy, hes super intense and a totally hot alpha male...
I cannot imagine the horror that Emma has had to survive to get to where she is at the beginning of this book, but to handle what was thrown at her the moment she walked into her apartmentI dont want to imagine those feelings.
I really liked Carters character. Hes strong, but has this sweet and loving side that he only shows Emma - I loved Carter and Emmas relationship. Hes totally alpha and does everything in his power to protect her.
Now if you are into a lot of description in the sex scenes you wont get that here.

********* SPOILER ALERT ******** SPOILER ALERT ********* SPOILER ALERT **********
I couldn't believe by chapter 11 the most important and interesting pieces of the mystery was given.
I mean the whole ghost thing should have been played out until the very end of the story because that along with the crime mystery really added to the overall intrigue, suspense, and entertainment of the story.
The big reveal was such a let down because instead of a, "OMFG" reaction. It was more of a, "well that sucks" reaction. And that's the chapter 11 I'm talking about.
I almost lost interest in the story but I always finish what I start. AND IM SO GLAD I DID, because the story definitely (well the mystery) became a lot more interesting!!!!!!
Now I still have no idea why Ben was being so nice to his ex wife! I mean the B is touching him, talking about getting back with him, in front of Lexie ( the woman he just slept with and claims to care for) but says nothing, he didn't even push his ex away!!!! WTF was up with that?!?!?!
That entire scene was just off and weird and still makes no sense to me!
So, overall, it's a pretty decent read and keeps the entertainment value above par, plus the performance was excellent!!!
    Definitely CLUE, definitely loved it..
    Any additional comments?
Always a good game and this was a really good book. Loved Ben and Catherine/Lexie. The secondary characters were great to. Absolutely loved Aunt Muriel, she was too, too funny. Cecilia (the sweetheart), Dylan (the drunk), Seth (the money hungry jerk), Jeremy (the ass), Igor (the butler,) and Trey (the accountant). All great additions to the book. I don't want to give anything away so I'll just say you can't go wrong with this book..
The only thing I was disappointed with was the lack of sexual tension between Ben and Lexie. Never any thoughts or feelings of desire or lust but then there was sex! Nothing that led up to it, though.
As to the narrator: I like Ms. Eby. Even though most of her men sound alike I'm ok with that.

    Couldn't wait to hear more!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes! And I have already several times! I promised myself I would only listen to this book when I was on the treadmill...holy smokes! Best motivation I have ever had to exercise! There were times when the only reason I would stop listening is because my legs wouldn't carry me any further. This book is so much more than a typical romance...it's full of danger, excitement, mystery and real-life emotions. I felt like I was actually a part of the story!
What was one of the most memorable moments of Teton Sunrise?
There were so many moments when I was so totally engrossed in the story. Especially when Alex and Evie are faced with TWO life threatening situations in one day...I don't want to give too much away.
What does Steve Marvel bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?
He has AMAZING ability to change voices for each character so that you can immediately identify each person throughout the story. He also brings the exact emotion that is needed in each scene...such a great job! Wow!
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
    Especially at the end...I WEPT!!!
    Any additional comments?
You must listen to this book...it is incredible!
GREAT NEW SERIES FROM Peggy L. Henderson!!!!
Where does Teton Sunrise rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
I have to say that I was "Captivated" by Teton Sunrise as soon as I started listening to it. It ranks right up there with the Yellowstone Romance Series, which were my "ALL TIME" favorites until I started this Book!! Now I am "Torn" but in a VERY GOOD WAY!!!
What other book might you compare Teton Sunrise to and why?
I would compare it to Yellowstone Heartsong. As for why, I have many reasons.

Get the complete book, skip the serial format
Overall I really enjoyed the entire Professional series and thought Kresley Coles writing was excellent. However, I didnt enjoy the way this book was released in a serial format. In my opinion it made the story too choppy and created unnecessary cliffhangers. If there is a spin-off of The Game Makers, I will wait until the entire book is released. Otherwise, I thought the overall story, narration and writing were excellent.

    What FSoG Should Have Been...
First of all, I loved this book! And make no mistake, even though there are 3 parts, parts 1, 2 and 3 add up to one book. It's not a trilogy. It's not 3 separate books. It's one book broken into 3 parts. The conclusion to the book comes in this instalment, which is why I'm writing my review here.
I don't know if Kresley Cole wrote this book before or after the BIG FSoG phenomenon happened, and I don't really care. Chances are though, it was published, and published in this 3 part serial version, because of the FSoG craze, perhaps trying to make it look like a trilogy. While I generally avoid all the BDSM books that have came out since, I will read anything KC writes, so here I am.
I wasn't a big FSoG fan. I found the heroine too immature and the hero a bit too stalker-ish for my taste. To each their own. This book, however, had a smart heroine who knew her own mind, a hero who was dangerous, handsome, loyal to a fault. He was just sex on a stick with a cherry on top, and loads of hotter than hot scenes that nearly melted my headphones.
In some fascinating way, even though Natalie is the submissive, it really reads as though she has all the control. When Sevastian buys clothes for her, it appears thoughtful, not controlling. Even though the story is being told from Natalie's point of view, it's Sevastian's pain you feel the most. At no point does KC let her hero venture into real "jerk" behaviour, but she keeps his razor sharp edge throughout. He's domineering and possessive and all that stuff, but in a perfectly perfect way. KC nailed this one.
I do wish this hadn't came in a serial form. After reading other reviews, I chose to wait until all 3 sections were available and purchased to start reading them (thanks reviewers!!), since I get frustrated with cliff hangers.

Against his better judgment, Sam gets emotionally involved, determined to take down the double threat against Elizabeth - an ex desperate to get her back, despite a restraining order, and a psychopath bent on silencing her before she can identify him.
They set a trap to catch the killer - putting Elizabeth in his hands, with Sam desperate to save her. If he's lucky, he'll get his man....and the girl.

In book two of the Hunted series, Supper Yummy hero, Agent Sam Turner, (Jack's twin brother from book one) finds himself working on capturing serial killer, the Silver Fox... Heroine Elizabeth Hamilton is living her life quietly as a baker besides being the daughter of an esteemed judge. Without realizing what is happening, Elizabeth puts herself in the sights of the Silver Fox who puts her in the hospital. Hero Sam is only person who can protect and keep her safe though the chemistry between he and Elizabeth is smoking hot. Sam knows that a personal relationship between them is not appropriate, but what his heart wants is stronger than what his head wants....
