What did you like best about this story?

I didn't want ths audiobook to end. The characters are so hysterical and well developed by the author. It is out of the box comical, intriguing experience listen to this book. I hope the author is working on the next one!

Where does Romance: Simone rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?

Much funnier than most books I've listened to, especially in this genre. This book had a unique blend of humor, romance, steamy scenes, and adventure. A really fun blend to listen to.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Romance: Simone?

All of the scenes between Simone and Pierce. I loved their back-and-forth dialogue and their cat-and-mouse interactions.

If you could take any character from Romance: Simone out to dinner, who would it be and why?

I would take Simone out to dinner. She's hilarious, and you never know what's going to come out of her mouth! Everything would be an adventure with her.

I really enjoyed listening to this book. It brought me back to all those years of dating, but with a much funnier spin!

All of the unexpected funny scenes and plot twists. Great to listen to. This book had me chuckling on my way to work. A great way to start the day.

She's a talented narrator with the ability to do different character effectively.

I liked the steamy love scenes. Well done and hot!

This book was so fun to listen to that I immediately purchased the rest in the series, along with the spin-off, CARPE DiEMILY. Engaging story, funny writing, clear narration, and a cast of zany characters that will have you laughing out loud. Highly recommend!

Worth the credit

What did you love best about Romance: Simone?

This is a good lead-in to a very funny series. I loved the witty humor, the interactions between the characters, the crazy situations that Simone gets herself into (LOL!), and the misadventures that happen on her journey to finding love.

Needs some work but the story is fun!

I read this story in less than an hour. It was cute and an interesting idea. The female protagonist was a bit annoying but other than that... the story was really cute! :)

Couldn't get past the terrible editing

The e-book world has been overrun with self-published works. Many of them are in desperate need of of an editor and this needs to be first in line. The grammar and punctuation errors made it too annoying to make the irritating characters and silly premise worth pushing through. Not worth the effort.

Love dogs? Love having a good laugh?

If you love dogs and having a good laugh, you'll love this book! Believe me, that's what happened to me.

I bought this book in Kindle format some years ago and loved it so much I was thrilled to learn it was now available as an audiobook. And, sure enough, I wasn't disappointed!

A story of mistaken identity, a pampered show dog having to do the job of her sister Maddie, a cow dog in a real ranch. Now, that's something to look for, isn't it? Oh, and I forgot... This tale is told from the dog's point of view.

Devin O'Branagan does a wonderful job telling us this hilarious story where Talisman (Tali for her friends), a beautiful blue merle Australian Shepherd, finds herself confronted with cows, calves, bulls, geese... Oh, and don't forget the cat and her kitten! I loved this kitten.

All Tali knows is how to "look pretty" in the show ring but she doesn't want to disappoint her sister (who hates being bathed or having a bow in her hair!). And she's determined to do her best, as any Aussie would do. So Tali improvises, she does what no working dog would dream of doing and you'll laugh, laugh and laugh, as I did.

In the end, Tali's faced with a difficult choice, a matter of life or death. She's an Aussie and she's courageous but will courage be enough?

As for the narrator: she does a great job impersonating Tali or Josh, the cowboy working with "Maddie". Giving life to a dog, and a dog like Tali, must have been difficult as well as enjoyable. And, yes, while the story unfolds, you can see what's happening, you have no trouble hearing Tali talking.

All in all, a great book you'll love to listen to again and again. As I'll do!

I am a sucker for tales of mistaken identity, but this is the first I've encountered of the canine variety. Such fun! Take a sassy, pampered show dog and mix her up with a working dog, add humor and heart in a tale for all ages, and Show Dog Sings the Blues will be the lovely, exciting result! I have read the book and now it was such a treat to hear it read to me, too. Great writing makes this an audio book to hear again and again. Recommended highly!

Don't underestimate the "senior" generation . . .

I don't think it is legally possible for children to force a parent into assistive living against their wishes, but it certainly made for a great plot. At first you are furious for the disrespect and inconsideration shown their mother, and with a lot of twists and turns, this drama turns into a comical surprise. It's really well-worth reading.

Not as good as the last book

An ok-ish book. Unlike the last book our kingdom of dust, this book did not really engage my interest. The dialogue was crude and childish and lacked the charm present in the last book.

In liked this story very much, and it was narrated quite well, Michelle always does a good job...What I didn't like was how they made Gracie look like an incapable twit at times.. If you can be a good om to a special needs child, you are very capable...Gracie's moms lack of trust in how capable her daughter was, was quite controlling...even though she loved her daughter very much! I like how Both Gracie and Katherine learn how to let go...and I was very proud of both of them in the end...I did cry a bit, because this is a touching story...and it is well worth your time and a credit!!!

Fun book

Would you consider the audio edition of Saving Gracie to be better than the print version?

I did not read the print version. Good audio helps picture the characters in your mind, and this audio did this.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Saving Gracie?

I really liked the character Ruby and the performer makes her come to life. You can just picture her standing in front of you and popping that gum!

What does Michelle Babb bring to the story that you wouldnt experience if you just read the book?

The voices. She added the characterization so vividly that it is easy to picture each person. Her voice is very entertaining to listen to. She puts humor into the reading. The voice inflections were great.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I don't like to listen straight through and this book was good to turn off and contemplate the events. This slowed down the book so there was full enjoyment.

Very light book and fun to listen to.

Letting Go is Never Easy

Would you listen to Saving Gracie again? Why?

Perhaps...I'm sure there would be additional insights the second time around. Interaction between parent and child is a universal theme.

What did you like best about this story?

I think it was the realization that there's a lot of Grace and Catherine in me; and, I'm sure, in a lot of women.
