I listin to this book as I did my house work and into the night just to finish it. Drug and alcohol are issues but there are more likely to be the patch for the real reason you need to read the book to find.

Love a Western....

Don't know what the complaints about sound quality were but if there were some they were fixed.

Jack Garrett does a good job narrating. It's an audio book not radio drama so it's just a dude reading a book with a fairly manly voice doing ladyish voices. Most books with women reading have pretty ordinary mens parts too.

Story line is a usual western story, great for a rainy day knitting. Love Linda's stories!

Certainly nothing to 'not finish' some folks can be picky but it's their opinion and they're entitled. Good story and it was lovely having it read to me so I can do some chores while I listen. Well worth the credit and the few hours escapism.

This is a first for me. Normally, I reread Linda Lael Miller books, but I found the female lead in this book so loathsome I couldn't even reach the half way mark! I found NOTHING redeeming about this character. She says the male lead is arrogant, but SHE is arrogant, condescending, manipulative, deceptive, immature ... I can't figure out why ANYONE would put up with her attitude -- oh, yeah, she's PRETTY. ARGGH

Enjoyable Read; Poor quality audio

I am halfway through the book and there have been multiple pauses, skips and it literally turned off. What kind of racket is this where Amazon/Audible takes our money without providing a viable product? This is highway robbery. I do not have money to burn. I expect your company to provide an authentic product as advertised. Something needs to be done to recompense the readers! I am a very unhappy Audible member. The book is interesting and the narrator is good, even though he has definite difficulty with female voices.

bwwm story domestic abuse survivor ceo meets hero?

A bw female ceo on vacation just wanted a "fling" after a nasty divorce from an abuser husband. She is abroad & meets a handsome stranger she thinks is a hotel employee & has a quickie then flies home to resume her career in running her company. She runs into her "fling" when her company merges with another company & one of the owners it the handsome stranger she had a quickie abroad with. She is embarrassed he is intrigued. He pursues her to perhaps start up a relationship but, she has DRAMA in her life by means of a ex husband that still intimates her physically ( why she doesn't press charges & throw his a$$ in jail seems weak.. It puzzled me a smart ceo doesn't HANDLE her business) But, her love interest stand up the ex & wisk her off her feet.. Slight eye roll but the story was ok.. worth a credit... yea sure.. slightly corny

Intense in shifter tradition

Addie turned out to be an openminded and confident individual after being submerged in shifters and their dramatic situations. Really like the series as it explains the changes in their status.

Wonderful Book

What made the experience of listening to White Tiger the most enjoyable?

This was a wonderful book I loved the characters along with the story line.

It does get a bit confusing when you have not read the short stories that come before the book, but overall its a great book.

Any additional comments?

I wish their were not so many short stories between books. I refuse to pay full price for a book that is shorter then 8hrs. When your listening to the full books it gets very confusing if you have not read the shorter books. I don't think I will recommend this series to family and friends for that reason.

Mate Claimed ?

This shifter story if filled with tender moments and action. tiger and his cubs are trying to survive the betrayal of some of is pack. Not knowing who he can trust he finds himself trusting a waitress named Addison he barely knows. The two of them and the cubs are on the run now trying to stay one step ahead of the traitors. This story has it all sparks, hot sex, redemption,hope and love. Wroth a credit. Narration was good

GREAT READ

Love the book, I have read a lot of Jennifer Ashley book this one is a keeper. The narrator keep everything lively and fast pace, The most memorable part is when Tiger was trying to keep Addy from leaving and he pin her to the truck and the we white tiger came to her rescue and mate claim her with the Cubs around her legs.

"Legacy"' Henderson's best yet!

Every time a new book comes out in the Peggy L. Henderson Yellowstone Romance Series, it is better than the previous one. Henderson still has the knack for putting you right in the middle of the story, bringing to life the sight, sounds and smells of the wilderness. This time though she whipped up some pretty amazing situations that answered questions from other encounters, but left questions that leave the reader yearning for another installment. Avid readers of her work can't wait for #8. Not only is Legacy a time travel romance novel, it is a history lesson and a story you think about days and weeks after you've read it. I keep writing my own Series ending in my head and I can see that Peggy is going to throw us all for a loop when she publishes the final one. I read Legacy and I listened to Cody Roberts read it to me. I picked up on quite a few things I missed listening and Cody knows how to pull the most out of every word, sentence and character. He is a fantastic reader.

The story evolves.....

What made the experience of listening to Yellowstone Legacy the most enjoyable?

Just love listening to Cody Roberts. He always brings the characters to life!

I love this series. This latest edition changes everything. What an incredible author-the fabulous twists to the story line was almost more than my brain could comprehend! Seriously, this is a great, great audiobook, but you need to have at least listened to "Yellowstone Heartsong" to understand the plot twists.

What did you love best about Lunch at the Beach House Hotel?

The continuation of the story from the first audio book and how Angie and Rhonda manage difficult guests, a hurricane, and a wedding.

What did you like best about this story?

The close relationship of Angie and Rhonda with their daughters.

Have you listened to any of Angela Dawes other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, Breakfast at the Beach House Hotel. This audiobook rates as well as the previous one. I am amazed that Angela can change her voice to fit the characters in the book.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yes. But it took 2 sittings to listen to the complete book

Love the series. It took me a while to get accustomed to listening to a book instead of reading. I can't wait for the third book, Dinner at the Beach House Hotel to be released!

A Great Beach Read!

What did you like best about this story?

If you like Debbie Macomber's story style with layers of relationships, layers of romance - sometimes unexpected, and feeling like you are really visiting a new location, then you will love the Beach House Hotel series. I have read both Breakfast (print) and Lunch at the Beach House Hotel (audio) and enjoyed watching the friendships and romantic relationships of these women continue to build over the two books. I see strong potential for the next book to wrap up some tantalizing loose ends.

What about Angela Dawes performance did you like?

The character Rhonda is a Jersey Girl and the reader, Angela Dawe, did an excellent job of giving Rhonda so much personality that she was on the verge of stealing every scene she was in - despite the fact that the narrative is never in Rhonda's point of view. Dawe provided a well balanced, articulate, excellent reading. (I 'read' a lot of audio books.)

This is a great series. I have enjoyed these books so much. I have read

them as well as listened to them by audiobook, it really brings the characters to life in a different way. Rhonda Delmonte and Ann Rutherford have become great friends. They continue to have challenges in their hotel, but no matter what comes their way they work it out. Tina Marks comes to stay at their hotel so she can lose weight

before her next movie.

Book is better

the narrator was so monotone that it made the audio boring. I loved the book and all of Ruth's work. I will skip the audio version if they are like this one.

Poor narrator

The narrator needed a lot more correct emotion while reading. The story was written with a lot of back and forth and with the way she read it, it was hard to follow.

What disappointed you about Trade It All?

The heroine was just going around in circles, poor execution it felt constipated trying to fit in too much. Althea, Andrade just too much the characters relationship did not grow.

What could Ruth Cardello have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

It took a lot of listening to find out what had happened 10years ago they should have just dealt with the past then moved to the present. Her inner musings were confusing . Not Ruth's great work.

What didnt you like about Robin Rowans performance?

Her voiceless annoying, with some characters

Devil's Rock Hot

Yep, its hot as hell, but the heat is all between the sheets (since the story takes place in winter). Graphic romantic sex scenes, some violence, and a fast-moving story to frame the sex scenes.

Reid Alistair is a knight in tarnished armor serving a life sentence for murdering a security guard, a crime of which hes innocent. After 11 years in Devils Rock penitentiary in West Texas, hes finally got an escape plan. His obsession now is to take revenge on the drug lord (and worse) who, when the young Reid wised up and tried to leave the gang, framed him for the guards murder and made sure the charge stuck. Reid also wants to reconnect with his younger brother, who he is afraid is now running with the gang.

Reid finds his drug-addled brother, who is indeed still on the bad side. In fact, when Reid shows up, the gang has just kidnapped the presidents daughter, Grace. (Yes, thats right, the Presidents daughter :-) Its all pretty far-fetched, but we can bet that (1) Reid will save the day and (2) there will be steamy sex.

I didnt think Reids story was quite as good as his friend Knox Callaghan's story in the first book of this series, All Chained Up. But if you like this kind of erotic, escapist, romance/adventure fantasy, Hell Breaks Loose is well done. Both Reid and Grace are immensely likable and strangely -- given the stretch-your-credulity storyline -- believable.

I especially enjoy the humor Sophy Jordan manages to insert in unexpected places; the chase scene through the winter woods alone was worth the credit for the smiles I got out of it. And I really like Christian Fox's narration. No Texas accent attempted, but it all works for me!

Although Grace and Reids story is tied up neatly, we left North Callaghan (brother of Knox) back in Devils Rock, where he (undeservedly) took the fall for Reids escape. Norths story is apparently up next in the third book of the series, Fury on Fire. And we last saw Reids brother being cuffed and stuffed into a squad car. Let's see if *he* winds up in the same prison, and whether Sophy Jordan will continue to write about The Men of Devils Rock.

Worth every bit of my credit

If you can catch the first in this series. The narrator snatches you right into the story. Convicted felon and I prison escapee, Reid is all alpha and extremely sensitive in this story.
