Horrible

This is the worst book I have ever heard. The narrator was terrible, I could not finish this horrible book. The story could have been better if the narrator didn't sound as if she had stones in her mouth.

PAINFUL

I rarely write reviews, but I needed to share.

The narrator was HORRIBLE. She made me grind my teeth. She couldn't pronounce common words, uncomfortable at the steamy scenes.

Not sure if she has an accent or pretended to have one. But she sounded like William Shatner ( Capt. Kirk)

The editing wasn't any better. You could hear voice change, volume change, missing sentences.

On a positive note : the story seemed to be good. And I like the information about the Cree Nation.

good story bad narration

almost stopped listening early on as narration was so bad. lots of pauses where there shouldn't be pauses and so often sounded like a computer generated voice. However I did enjoy the story which waa the only reason I listened to the end

poorly written and poorly narrated

Very disappointing considering the wealth of folklore available. The characters were at best sketchy and written iso badly that it wasn't possible to connect or care. As for the narration - dire. although it slightly improved.

Romántica de principio a fin....

A pesar de que no es historia real , te atrapa desde el principio y ademas de interesante es 100% romántica.

Es un libro emocionante de principio a fin. Ya había leído antes los 3 libros de Caballo de Fuego, de la misma autora. Este libro es ideal para comprender el comienzo de la historia, los orígenes de los protagonistas de aquella grandiosa trilogía. Además pude apreciar aspectos de la cultura árabe. Amé éste libro, el el epílogo sufrí porque no quería que terminara.

Loved this book and the narrator

From the way the book ended I wonder if there's going to be another book.

I always love Lori Fosters books just enough mystery and lots of hot steamy loving and Romance.

Couldn't make it past...

The 2nd chapter. Maybe it gets better, but I'll never know.

Typical rich, handsome unattainable movie star & world class fighter falls for small town, "plump", over responsible for her brother girl.

This book is not for me.

Not what I expected.

I got this book because the preview reading made me think it would be pretty good. What a disappointment. This was nothing like I expected. First, I could not find anything to love about one of the main characters. The female lead May Price was just plain sad! I have no problem with ladies who struggle to deal with being over-weight. I know that's a self esteem issue that is very common, and it's one I've had to deal with all my life. I also know it may take some of us longer to over come this issue and emerge on the other side happy, confident and strong, but this lady take's the cake. She never seemed to understand and know that she was beautiful. She didn't get it from Jude, who treated her like a queen, or his friend Denny. She never saw her own worth in anything. Then there's Jude. He's handsome, rich, and down to earth. He's also a movie star and a cage fighter that's just plain cool. He's the only one who seemed to be worth dealing with throughout the whole book. Okay, you can add Denny to that quota, but that's as far as I can go. Most of the main supporting character just piss you off. I didn't like May's parents or brother, who play a big part in the book. There is NOTHING redeemable about any of them! They were money grabbing snobs, unreliable, uncaring, drunk, etc etc! Just everything bad you could ever see in a family, and May was just stupid enough to keep letting them walk right over her! I do not recommend this book if this kind of thing pisses you off. That's all it did for me.

Jim Fragione is one of my favorite narrators, and even he could not save this book!

Where it differs is that it's not primarily a BDSM story in the true sense of a dominant/submissive relationship and does not feature a heavy D/s relationship between the main characters.Instead this is the story of a relationship building between two men who work as strippers at a club. Andrew is a Dom and Gareth is submissive but this isn't the crux of their relationship.Throw in some time spent with characters from the previous books plus a dash of drama as the bad guy comes out to play, and it's a nice continuation of the series!

This book is by FAR the best of the 5 book series. Thankfully I listened to this one last because the actual last book, Damian's Discipline, is the worst one. In my opinion the only other book worth bothering with is the 1st one An Unlocked Heart. Both the writing and the voices used by the narrator is this series are problematic, but a Dance w/ Domination rises far above the others and is definitely worth the time & credit!

I have all this series on kindle and i hesitated to see if Nick Russo could do an British voice, but he was really great. Looking at what else he has recorded because of this series.

A Tender Dance of Love

A Dance with Domination (Collars and Cuffs #4) by K.C. Wells introduces a unique character that I really enjoyed. Andrew is unlike any Dom I've ever read about, and his developing relationship with Gareth is tender. The flow is smooth, the plot is different from the others in the series, and the characters most engaging. This is my favorite book in the series so far.

Good story

I love these books. But the narrator don't seem to be to good at making voices for the people he read... And it's a bit frustrating if you hear all books after each other that the different people don't sound the same in the different books.

Wonderful series

Would you listen to The Home Court Advantage: Lawyers in Love, Book 2 again? Why?

Absolutely I would listen to this book again. These characters are so much fun and is a great escape from real life.

Which scene was your favorite?

My favorite part is when they were lost in the woods convinced they were actually pursuing a UFO.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I could have, but it was also easy to listen to in small settings and be able to pick right u p where I left off.

It bought the funny

Tavia hit it with the narration. The aroused voice and the quirky humor of Gabi and the other ladies. I still laughed my butt off on the different parts in the book as if I was reading because of the humor portrayed in her voice during those scenes. I was a little put off only by some of the male parts. There was not enough attitude and arrogance for the swagger of the men. Overall it was enjoyable.

Great series

I'm loving this series and this couple. Great banter and love between them. Can't wait for all the sequels. More!!!

Sexual Violence is Not Funny

In book 2, Braden (27) went from threatening sexual violence against Gabrielle (26) to actually hitting and humiliating the woman he claimed to adore. The author did an amazing job of trying to romanticize his aggressive and demeaning behavior; however hitting another person is a crime, not a sign of true love.

The scenes containing sexual abuse were only a tiny part of The Home Advantage, making them all the more insidious. Braden was supposed to be madly in love with Gabrielle yet had the need to inflict physical and emotional pain. Gabrielle was supposed to be a confident and intelligent professional, yet she allowed her lover to treat her worse than an animal. Would readers still find it entertaining if Braden was beating Bruno the dog rather than his girlfriend?

Normal, rational and emotionally secure women do NOT enjoy being abused. Mature and loving men do NOT enjoy hurting their sexual partners. There is nothing romantic or erotic about aggressive and violent behavior. As an A.D.A., Braden should understand that hitting Gabrielle is criminal and revolting behavior.

Heartfelt Story

Never have I heard such a beautifully written story of how 1 young lady concord all. From her childhood her first love even through all she went through. She Won! This is a must read as well as a must Share story. Now get the tissue out and start reading. You won't be disappointed in fact you may be educated.

Was not able to finish reading this one... Narrator made me feel like we were in a classroom and she was just reading aloud. The story line... after seeing him like 3 times she was deeply in love with him. and really they just kept running into each other.... randomly and in the city. Seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bien, si te gustan las novelas de Corin Tellado.

Sólo una novela romántica con pinceladas eróticas, que pretende ser histórica, pero que de historia sólo tiene el lugar y la época en que se desarrolla. Buenos Aires, 1805, albores de la Independencia Argentina. Muy mal documentada históricamente y la historia romántica excesivamente empalagosa. Lo peor es que me queda leer la segunda parte, y que la tengo que leer porque cometí el error de comprar las dos partes al mismo tiempo. Pérdida de tiempo y de dinero. Es lo último que leo de Florencia Bonelli.

Funny and Bridget Jones-esque

I enjoyed this holiday novella from Sarah Morgan. Hayley's pride won't let her refuse to serve as a bridesmaid when her ex-lover marries her ex-friend, even though it means wearing an ugly, too-tight, bilious yellow tube-top of a dress. When Hayley suffers an epic wardrobe malfunction during the ceremony, only the best man, Nico Rossi, comes to her aid. Nico is controlled, emotionless, cold... or so Hayley has always assumed. However, in the tradition of Mr. Darcy (both Elizabeth Bennett's and Bridget Jones'), Nico's apparent grumpy-pants turn out to be horny-pants in disguise.

This story strongly reminded me of Bridget Jones' Diary and also of Sarah Mayberry's Her Best Worst Mistake, so it didn't feel fresh or unique -- but it was funny and well-paced. I loved the bond between Hayley and her sister Rosie. I also liked that, even within the shortened-form of a novella, Sarah Morgan conveyed the sense that both Hayley and Nico had rich, emotional backgrounds that weren't part of the story but were essential to their characters.

Very disappointing.

This book had really good promise. I came across it in Cosmo magazine and upon reading the first few chapters of the book I realized the excerpt in the magazine feature had been highly edited and cut apart. I was so disappointed because the book seemed absolutely flawless in the excerpt. While the subject matter of the book is very adult, I found most of the actual writing to be very childish. I honestly couldn't get past it and get into the actual story and I ended up just giving up towards the last few pages. Definitely will not be buying from this author again. However, the idea of the story was great and had the writing been cleaned up a bit I would have loved it.

First off, I have no problem with BDSM...I am actually a fan of it, if done correctly....this was not done correctly!
