I loved reading it. Adored listening to it!

I've been a fan of Kennedy Layne's books since she began publishing. I love her CSA series. It blends well dominant men and compelling women. Lauren and Connor meet because she may have information regarding a case he is working on.

If you love Cherise Sinclair and Lexi Blake, you will love Kennedy Layne.

I look forward to listening to the next book she delivers!

My First Time!

This is the first audiobook I've listened to from this author and it won't be the last! It's a well paced military/security romance novel. I'd put this in the category of erotica because to does have light bdsm elements and strong sexual content, but it also has mystery and suspense.

I had never heard of this narrator but he did a good job. With male narrators it's always a toss up whether or not they can pull off female characters and Michael nailed it.

Military men and hot romance ~

As much as the author enjoyed writing this, I enjoyed reading it. it had a great mix of romance, bdsm, suspense and mystery.

Each character has their own allure that promises more hot, military men and romance on future books.

Awesome narration for a crappy story

Jason Frazier's breathy voice is the only decent thing about this story. The lack of plot of characterization can be overlooked if the sex is hot. But this was more like badly written porn. Totally unbelievable scenario. Don't waste your money.

Hot hot hot

This was a great short, hot tale! A full blown erotic novella, the author quickly gets to the action and doesn't let up. Some of the lines seemed repetitive, but it didn't deter me from enjoying the story.

Jason Frazier is once again at his absolute best. His sultry voice and the pace that he reads the story makes for one hot narration that leaves you panting for more. He and the Johnson Woodstrong definitely make for a great pairing.

Holy hell!

The narrator made it sound as if he were on the receiving end of some hot man lovin". At first I didn't like his voice, but one it got to the meat (haha) of the story it was better that great. Not much to the story, just some smut at the doctors office. All in all you could probably listen to this and have a good time yourself at the same time. worth the buy!

Enjoyed the story!

I enjoyed the and and really loved both Jude and kai. But I wish the narrator had put more emotion into his narrative. Don't get me wrong it was OK and intally it was the story that kept me listening.

What a wonderful erotica romance

This book was very interesting. While it was rather long, it was jam-packed with detailed erotic scenes that it an enjoyable book to listen to.

Lost interest

This book might be good, but I did not even finish it because the narrator ruined the story completely. He reads this book like he is a robot and has no skills .

the storyline is not that great

storyline drags on and the narrator just makes it worse, don't waste your time.

EMOTIONAL ROLLER COASTER WITH A HEA!!

What did you love best about Burning Through Gravity?

This book took me on a range of emotions, from hate, to love, sadness, excitement, confusion, anger...fear, and hope! I didn't know if I was going to love this book till about the middle...but I did!

Who was your favorite character and why?

Stevie, she is damaged, yet beautiful....even though there were times I wanted to smack her a little bit....lol

Which scene was your favorite?

Oh there are so many...but when her mom calls her Clare....I was shocked!

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

This would be a twisted movie....but I bet it would be a blockbuster hit!

Oh my Caitlin...you are one of my most fave narrators now...I am going to rank you up there with Tavia Gilbert, and Marguerite Gavin..I hope you take that as a compliment...those 2 ladies have kept me awake both laughing and crying more nights than I can remember! Thank You!

I had to take breaks from this book off and on, because of Stevie's odd and cruel behavior at times...but it was never for long...I kept being drawn back..and before I would know it, 2 more hours would pass...and I wouldn't even realize it! lol This book tortured my emotions....I was very invested!!! lol

Stevie has lived her young life in heartbreak, she has been neglected, and suffered the loss of her twin...She says at the very beginning that she has made grief her b!tch...and from that moment on I knew I could bond with Stevie! She is planning her suicide the night she meets him...Ford, and from that moment on they were meant to be.

Beware was decent

London was a bit whiny. You don't trust Ace yet you're sleeping with him?? Oh okay...It just seemed a bit silly at times but the sex was steamy. I liked the whole silk and pearls fetish.lol

BEWARE.. A DISLIKEABLE HERO & A TEARFUL CLIFFHANGER

24 yr old London is about to get her Graduation Diploma when she looks into the audience for her loving brother Jonha who she hadn't seen for quite a while and when she eventually spots his smiling face all she can see is the handsome, charismatic and tattooed business man next to him..... and she was speechless and mesmerised. However, Ace is anything but nice - he's a cold, hard, arrogant and a dangerous criminal who never feels guilt, doesn't suffer from shame and walks away from responsibility.... he says he's called Ace because he's perfect at everything. Jonah is his friend and co-worker and they're only passing through to see London Graduate but things goes tragically wrong with a deal and Ace has to take London away fast and that starts a string of lies, secrets, deception and manipulation of London by Ace..... along with lots of sweaty hot sex.

The trouble I had with this listen was that I couldn't connect with the characters, there was no passion but only manipulation and I didn't feel any romance, chemistry or trust between the H/H. Ace was, most of the way through this listen, a dislikeable Hero until the last few Chapters of the book when, finally, there is some romance rather than cold hard lust and drunken hot sex between him and London. London also annoyed me several times... a Cartel is after her, she witnessed a killing, but her naievity means it took Ace a lot of convincing her to finally comprehend the danger she was in (but of course he had his own secret and greedy agenda for doing this). Also, IMO, she seemed to have a very very short period of mourning. Because I didn't feel the chemistry or any bond between the H/H which meant the raw Alpha domineering hot sex just left me feeling cold. There was however, plenty of angst, suspense, drama, twists, shocking revelations and a lot of mystery surrounding Ace's true motives for helping London. Although this was a very well-written book I just prefer my Heroes to have a little more heart with their heat.

Worth a credit? Dual POV's, narration was good and the final few Chapters had me shocked at the cliffhanger ending and liking the character growth that the H/H went through as Ace eventually opened Pandora's box and let all of his secrets out hoping that London would remain by his side.....

Heartbreaking and yet, I couldn't put it down...

After reading the warning on the first page, I knew something bad was going to happen. I kept reading waiting for the other shoe to drop, and then it did... I shed lots and lots of tears over this one. I couldn't put it down and read it in one day. I highly recommend this one, even though it had me racked with tears it was outstanding!! And now a bit about the story...

Bailey, aka Bails, is almost thirty and still very much single. Her best friend finally gets her to set up a date with one of the many men from a dating site. He ends up being a tool, but that night she meets her Prince Charming, only problem is the poison apple in the future...

Favorite passages:

- So far I was assumed to be a nasty slut who had a drinking problem. Then he took out a cloth handkerchief and blew his nose loudly in front of me. When he opened the fabric to look inside I wanted to hurl. No wonder he was on a dating site. This guy was hideous.

- He raised his brows and smiled, displaying those irresistible dimples. It sent my mind into a frenzy wondering how many women he took out like this.

- Major loved to annoy me until we ended up naked, forgetting why we were wrestling around in the first place.

I tried.........

This book was chosen for my monthly book club. I was excited because people had said great things. I started reading and I just could not get into the book. I tried, I really tried. As much as I've thought about it, I can't pinpoint one specific thing, such as a character or theme. I love Jennifer Foor's books but this was just a miss for me. Please don't let me review keep you from reading it. Try just like I did. There are different books for different people.

Don't know where to begin

No spoilers! Kleenex? The reviews weren't wrong, make sure they're right next to you and I don't mean a few, take the box because that's close to what you'll need. I've read emotional reads before but absolutely nothing like this. I've never had to take more than one break from a book before but I had separate myself about 10 times from this book. I had to search deep within myself to regain the courage to keep reading. I was sobbing, not once but multiple times. That makes a great read. I've read hundreds of books and there are only a few that I remember as great and this might be the greatest I've ever read because I literally felt all of the emotions as if they were mine. Not many authors are able to get readers to really feel their words but Jennifer, wow, I'm blown away. I will never be able to read this story again because I can't handle it but I am so glad I downloaded it, finding this book was a precious gift.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

It was nice to wrap up the first three books, but the switching back and forth between characters was a bit too much for me.
