Have you ever started listening to a story and said to yourself I will just listen for a little while tonight. Well that's what I told myself with this one. At midnight I had to pull myself away so I could go to sleep. When I woke up the next morning the headset went right back on and I had to finish this amazing story. The story of Max and Emma will pull you in and make you fall in love with the characters from the very first chapter. The narration was perfect and made the story even better. This was my first book by Author Sandi Lynn but I can assure you this want be my last. This is a must listen to book....

the performance of her stories are really great. I cried during this story and I am not a sap. kudos to the author for bringing this one to life.

Okay

Of all the books, this was the most unrealistic in terms of the plot, but that's not exactly the draw of these books, is it? It was enjoyable and quick, just like the others, but I was disappointed in the end. Not horribly so, just kinda sad. Of the series, my least favorite.

Dark past bring brighter futures

I enjoyed this audio. The character development was good. The backstory of both characters was well described and I was invested in both of them. The narrator did a good job. I would have enjoyed a little bit more darkness because I felt that both characters were headed that direction, we just never reach that point. It's a easy listen and overall enjoyable.

2.5 stars I just really wasn't feeling this book. The connection between Rian and Sarah just seemed too forced. I expected something more like the first book and I don't think it got that. I liked Sarah but Rian was just ...... I dunno. Some parts where good but in the end, it just didn't do it for me. I liked the first book so that may be better for you if you are new to this author.

Mine: A Dark Erotic Romance Novel...

Well I was disappointed because I honestly could not tell a difference in between the male and female voices from the narrator so I stayed in a constant state of confusion so I just stopped listening and removed it from my device. I will have to just read this novel. I like dark romances so I was looking forward to that. So unless they do a remake with a different narrator, like Saskia Maarleveld, Erin Mallon, Muffy Newton, Ava Erickson... Don't get it.

Piper Vaughn, yes, read several of hers and loved them. Jack Fleming, probably not.

If youve listened to books by Piper Vaughn before, how does this one compare?

Wood, Screws and Nails is probably one of my favorite MM reads. This one was really good until the last couple of chapters.

What do you think the narrator could have done better?

Maybe use a distinctively different tone for the male leads at the very least. Seriously, he sat down and read this book very monotone and made it difficult, at times, to know which guy was talking or thinking.

If this book were a movie would you go see it?

Maybe.

Okay, I thoroughly enjoyed the idea of this book. Teenage rivals of a sort coming together and making a go of it later in life. The intense connection from the start, the passion they shared was amazing. I think Blake's mom and Cas's grandmother were sneaky, and rightfully so, and had they not meddled, these two may not have gotten past their own bull headedness long enough to realize they were made for each other.

This easily could have been 5 stars, let me tell you why it's not. Again, spoilers....

First, as mentioned above, the narrator. Seriously, he read both men with the same monotone voice that made it quite difficult at times to know which character he was reading. Second, that "fight" or disagreement at the end of the book. Okay, Blake flies out to visit Cas after they haven't seen each other in 2 months. At the club, Cas is basically ignoring Blake and one of his friends licks his neck seductively while they are dancing, Blake still being ignored at the table nursing his beer. And then Cas gets pissed at Blake when he calls him out on it? This pissed me right off. Overall, it was an okay read and still would have been 4 stars even with the narration.

This book combines so very many of my favorite things ... reality TV, hotties, and drama!! This book was written so well that for the entire book I felt like I was living in a reality show, and I most definitely enjoyed it. Eight famous men/women and their guests are brought together on a tropical island to raise money for the charity of their choice. The goal is to find their soul mate on the reality show Date, Mate, Fate. Among the "famous" people we have porn stars, a bull rider, a motocross rider, sports figures, models, actors, etc. and of course your average Joe's. They have to compete on small challenges and big challenges to get special outings or dates for the day. There is always so much going on behind the scenes as with most reality type shows ... you've got the mean girls who are catty and rude to everybody, you've got the who's sleeping with who conundrum, and of course strategizing of the game.

Each and every time a challenge is completed the winners choose a couple to send in the Soul Search to see if they were paired as soul mates or not. If they are soul mates they leave on an adventure and earn money for their charity, if not they stay in the house and try again. Some of the couples that are paired together in the end are a little shocking and some we could see coming.

The book is told from Harlow's point of view, she was brought to the island by her football star childhood sweetheart Oakley. Oakley and Harlow have been apart for several years and have recently reconnected and he has brought her on the show to spend time with her and see if they belong together.

I absolutely LOVED Harlow, Emma, Callie, and Jasmine (or Miranda). And with a passion I couldn't deny I hated Ivy, Nadia, Rachel and of course Dana wasn't really around long enough to determine rather I liked her or not.

And of course we have Cruz ... and oh how I swooned over Cruz and his brooding self. Cruz is only there because his sister Emma convinced him to sign up for this experience so that she could get out and do something. However he is sooo protective of her that she barely is able to leave his side, but there is a reason for this behavior and when it all comes to light we love him even more.

It's pretty high on my list.

You could compare it to J.S. Scott's billionaire books because the plot of a regular girl meeting a wounded/damaged billionaire is similar, but this one takes place on a boat and is unique in its own way.

What about Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott s performance did you like?

Wow, where to start? They are both so believable as the characters that you forget you're listening to a book and that it's not real. They really make audiobooks fun and addicting.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

Yes, I did. The climax and injury were really dramatic.

Although I usually avoid serials, I'm really glad I gave this one a chance. I loved it and look forward to the next two parts. It combines great writing with great narration.

I loved this story. Finding the love of your life is sometimes harder than it should be. The saying "you have to kiss a lot of frogs to find your prince", is truer than people think. I can't wait to hear the rest of the story.

Love Milly Taiden stories. there is always action, drame with hot COITUS.. Great balance of a bwwm/wolfe.. Person people I can't listen to enough of Milly Taiden. I think I only have one or two audible versions left to bought. I might be push into DT's & the shakes (going through with withdraws). Perfect escape stories..

Another Sassy Mates story

This is brat and mutt's story and if you don't know these nicknames you need to read or listen to this series of Sassy Mates. This is an incredible journey for a young woman that has lost all her family and the group of shifters she loves as her family including mutt as she calls him. She is his mate they both know it but she is not ready. In this book Aria (vamp) shows up and helps shaves some humans from being made into blood donors against their will. Emma will get herself into trouble yet again and Mason is gonna end up getting growls

The war continues, personal. And pack.

Yes. This as with all the authors books is hot, funny and a great listen.

This is a great book; this is the fourth book in The Sassy Mates series written by Milly Taiden and narrated by Lauren Sweet. This is an awesome hot read, and will leave you wanting more.. This book is Emma and Masons story, and it was worth the wait. Emma is a curvy and sassy girl and gives Mason a run for his money. Mason is a strong alpha male who wants to protect Emma, but she wants him to realize she is an independent woman who can take care of herself.

Annie and Max' story is romantic, sexy and funny and one of my alltimefavs. There's friendship, heartbreak, love and so many feels <3 and Karl Micheals is the perfect narrator, love his voice

I loved both Max and Annie.Annie was so strong, finding herself pregnant and deciding to raise the baby on her own. She didn't count on Max to come along and change her plans!Annie is older than Max and her actions show it. But the age difference doesn't prevent them from starting a relationship. Max' profession and ladies man are what Annie is worried about. She soon learns that Max may be an adrenaline junkie and professional stuntman, (something that drives control freak Cole crazy :)) but he is also a Bowen and family is important to him. Max is there for Annie and she learns to trust him and his feelings for her.Ive watched you come apart in my arms. Ive held you while you slept. Ive felt your baby kick. No, I havent f*cked you. My dick hasnt been inside you. But dont be mistaken; we do have an intimate relationship.I admired Annie for informing the baby's biological father of the situation, and admired Elle's approach to the issue: the father is a decent man (I'm glad she didn't turn him into an uncaring man, he just isnt cut out to be a father). Elle Aycart creates super hot Alpha Male characters with lots of heart and sexy scenes.To The Max delivers of scorching sex scenes, but also surprises us with the slow built between Annie and Max, the tender and sweet as well as the passion.

Young human girl found out she was offspring of shifters. She was suppose to have special powers that will bring shifters & humans more together. She has a lion mate & friends that form a family/pack. She was for-told to be a "leader" for a new way of life for shifter people.But some want to keep things the old way despite low birthrates. Some shifters want the opportunity to be more that being born omegas. Shifters that gave birth to pure humans would kill their offspring due to hatred of the weaker species.This story was BLAND. There wasn't any global, racial or cultural diversity. NO PEOPLE OF OTHER CULTURES OR RACES. But, lots of different ANIMAL shifters.. Personally if felt bored with this story. It had potential but, it never delivered. 4 stars for reader but, 2 stars for story. I added an extra star because i'm a sucker for ANY love stories.

ending was not great. Story could have ended in many better ways that would have encouraged the reader to seek other Amira Rain titles, but it just didn't do that.

Narrator was terrible. She has an immature voice and a manner of speaking that sounds like a teenage girl complaining about something. She mispronounced words that my 10 yr old son knows how to pronounce. English might possibly be her second language...or maybe third.

Do you think Her Lion Guard: The Complete Series Box Set needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

Only if the follow up book is written with the same mindset that Amira wrote the other books she has written. Honestly, this is the worst book of hers that I have read.

If this is your first Amira Rain book...this is NOT a normal representation of what her books normally are like. This is the worst story written by Amira Rain that I have read. Give her another chance and read ANY other book of hers !! You won't believe that it is by the same author. Her books are normally amazing and this book was just very ...bleh...
