    A girl, a boy, and a bet.
Good girl Astrid Ella Bailey, the Oreo-loving school nerd of Evergreen High, has anxiety issues. Like any other nerd, she preferred to bury her nose in her books all day and avoid attention like the plague. She never got into trouble, except for that one time a kid ruined a photo of her best friend...a very dear friend she just lost in a tragic accident.
Bad boy Kai Asher, her high school's head playboy, is trouble incarnate. Intense, rough, and sexy, he's the one who makes all the girls swoon. One flirtatious wink and their hearts bend like clay dough. Oh, the shame when they all break like fragile china.
A bet is made, tempers flare up, and punches are thrown.
And when the good girl crashed into the bad boy - quite literally, screeching tires and smoking hoods included - the school went wild with intrigue. Astrid was thrown into the spotlight, and extra attention is never good for an almost antisocial nerd.
What was the bet? And why did Kai suddenly appear - in all his half-naked glory - at Astrid's next door window one day? Can she resist his insane sexual innuendos, or will she lose her sanity? Or what's left of it, anyway.
Fall in love with this light-hearted bad boy YA romance that's sure to make you more than a little giddy inside. Wear your pajamas, snuggle into your couch, and enjoy this hilarious listen (preferably with Oreos on the side). Grab your copy now!

Optioned for movie rights by multiple-award winning producer Chase Chenowith of Back Fence Productions.
Centuries before she was born, Skye Tomaganuk was a subject of the most important prophecy in Estilorian history. As one of three half-human daughters born of the Corgloresti, Saraqael, she is part of the fulfillment of Knorbis' Great Foretelling. What she doesn't know is just what the Foretelling entails for her and her sisters.
As Skye and her sisters continue their training and visit each of the Estilorian class homelands, they soon learn how much impact their human emotions have on their father's kind. Skye is particularly interested in the effect of emotions on her Gloresti, Caleb. Although she wants their relationship to progress beyond just that of protector and assignment, he proves particularly resistant to the idea.
She'll soon have much more to worry about than a lack of romance, however. With the help of a traitor, Grolkinei infiltrates the Estilorian stronghold, imprisoning Skye's mind and putting all Estilorians at risk. It leads them all toward the greatest battle of their kind, and puts Skye's faith to the ultimate test.

    Love, Love, Love the Trilogy
Here are five reasons why I'll be reading every book Raine puts out and other fantasy books like hers:
    1. World Building is beyond phenomenal, and it's easy to visualize the unique home of the Estilorians. Vivid imagery with some similarities to earth but not enough to detract from amazing world building.
    2. Fierce, empowered women with special powers
The daughters of Saraquel, Amber, Olivia, are in excellent shape, have uniquely special powers and gifts, and can take a beating in battles. They fight alongside the incredible men, and even after taking a beating, they pull through. Plus, what could be better than having wings?
    3. Antagonists worth hating
When I read a book, I want my antagonists to be deplorable and the leader and minions of the Estilorians nail it. I truly despised their shade of evil and constant efforts to deceive by series end.
    4. Well-rounded characters.
Raine's characters are 3D and each have believable unique personalities. You get to know and love them intimately along with many others.
    5. Proves Indie authors have talent and aren't just garbage works that traditional publishers often reject
I used to stick to the mainstream with Koontz, Gresham, King, Rice, et al. Negative perception has been negated, and I'm looking forward to my more openminded approach to reading all talented writers (or willing to give all a chance). Read Raine Thomas, because I assure you they'll be amazing.
I received this product in exchange for an honest review.
Foretold (Daughters of Saraqael Book 3)...A Breathtaking Conclusion to an Enthralling Adventure!
Foretold is the conclusion of the Daughters of Saraqael trilogy, which focuses its premise on the youngest sister Skye and her developing relationship with her Gloresti (protector) Caleb. Paralleling their relationship, the story also includes the six main characters, Amber and Gabriel; Olivia and James; Caleb and Skye, in the main theme of the story that generates one action-pack adventure that includes a momentous battle.
Skye is the spirited one of the sisters, with so much sparkling, positive energy. She brings an experience of blissful happiness to those around her with her passionate virtues.

Although I didn't hate the book, I wouldn't recommend it.
Man, while an anticlimactic ending... I was hoping after all the annoying back-and-forth that I would at least get some sort of awesome, cheesy, mushy, romantic ending, but it was so blah.
The cheating part didn't bother me as much as it did some other reviewers... I guess because it was a high school romance and, come on, high school romances are ridiculous anyway.
Anyway, if you're going to write a cheesy, predictable book, at least go all-out romance and give me a cavity with the cuteness. It's so much worse to try and pretend like the book was meant to be serious.
Although I didn't hate the book, I wouldn't recommend it.
Great Story, Great Read all around.
This is a great summer read, and should be added to the TBR pile of anyone who enjoys YA.
LYM is a love story, and it comes at the story from two timelines. The first, the past, is presented in alternating chapters with the second, the present. And yet, both of them spiral around each other, much like the characters, being drawn together as moths to a flame. Closer and closer things get the further into the book you read.
Working the past in through alternating chapters is something thatches a lot of skill, and Gina has mastered that.
I'm definitely looking forward to more of Gina's writing.
Amazing!! I was hooked on the first page
Amazing!! I was hooked on the first page! Could not put it down. Read it in a little over 24 hours. Just wonderful. I highly recommend it to fans of young adult romance. Just amazing! I can't wait for Gina Cicocca's next book.
    Yes!
Well written, and with a story that is memorable! Too many times books have storylines that are forgettable... this isn't one of them. A, friends to (will be) lovers, and a second chance romance. I found myself ticked off with the main characters, which is my way of telling you the author did a great job. I'd love to see a follow-up or at very least an epilogue for these characters.
Last Year's Mistake is this year's winner for me!
Not only was this a well written love story, but there was also an element of mystery that kept me from putting the book down! Even though I am not a "young adult", I loved re-living my teen years through this story. It brought back a lot of memories of the emotions some teens go through, especially when they have found their "first" love. Loved the book and the writer's style of writing. I would like to see the author write a sequel to their story!

From the best-selling author of Summer Unplugged, The Immortal Mark is the first in a new paranormal romance series by Amy Sparling.
The only thing Cara got for her 18th birthday was an unexpected invitation to move out of her uncle's house. College isn't an option for a poor girl with average grades, so when her best friend Riley finds them a mysterious job opportunity that includes room and board, Cara is interested but thinks it sounds too good to be true.
The night before their interview, Cara has an epic night out with Theo, an impossibly handsome guy she just met. He's charismatic, a little mysterious, and it feels like she's known him her whole life.
When she runs into him at her interview, he's cold and elusive. He makes it very clear that he doesn't want her working with him, which only makes their mutual attraction burn hotter. Cara takes the job for Riley's sake and promises herself she'll avoid this jerk and his mood swings, no matter how hard it is to keep away from him.
Soon she finds out her millionaire employers aren't normal guys who live and travel in luxury. They're immortals. Theo wasn't trying to ruin her job prospects. He was trying to save her life, because the girls they hire never make it out alive.

Great YA/Teen Series But It Does Conclude in a Cliffhanger...
This book is a great start to a very unique YA/teen series. There is a touch of paranormal but not much. There is also a bit of romance. Cara and her best friend Riley have gone through a lot! They have such horrible luck and when things seems to be looking up they actually get even worse.
The narration was well done and brought the story to life.
I like the fact that the main characters are young but not immature for their age. They actually seem pretty smart trying to work with all the curve balls that life has thrown at them. They have been dealt a bad hand but they try to figure out how to land on their feet.
I really enjoyed the unique story even though it concluded in a cliffhanger. I'm looking forward to reading/listening to the next book to see how they will get out of their situation. Hopefully, Theo will do his best to help them.

    Hits the Mark
It has been a while since I read/listened to a book in the Teen category. I felt that this was more of a contemporary then paranormal which I wasn't expecting. There is a lot of backstory (there was a lot of this and the build up did take a while) and some romance. This is about two girls that thru circumstances are running out of options, and choices are made...And who does know the best choices to make at 18. This is just as much about them as the love interest with Theo...which is insta-love. Although they are teens, they were written strong with character flaws but with little immaturity. I did enjoy her writing style and the narration.
A solid teen book...and like I said this book did take a while to build up to the climax, but I am interested to see where the story goes.
I was provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher in exchange for an honest review.
    Pleasantly surprised
The story captured me for the first chapter. This story is about two orphaned girls who became BFF growing up. And how s black cloud of bad luck keeps following theme.

    This book is amazing!
This book is the best, amazing, most emotional, funny and heartbreaking book I've ever read. Cheater, faker, trouble maker is my favourite book. I love the characters and how much emotion this books gives, the story is original and I can't wait for the second part to come out on audible.
    Great characters
Where does Cheater. Faker. Troublemaker. rank among all the audiobooks youve listened to so far?
    great
What was one of the most memorable moments of Cheater. Faker. Troublemaker.?
    When Elias realizes his problems
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
    yes
    Any additional comments?
great character development, tense plot, good understanding of people's regrets and dealing with anxiety and addictive behaviors.
Can't wait for the next one.
Not at all what I expected and it's FANTASTIC!
    Any additional comments?
Okay, I'll be honest. At first, I did judge this book by its cover (and its title) and thought I knew exactly what I was getting. Not that either the title nor the cover are bad, quite the contrary, in fact. They're both very appealing. But I did assume that Cheater, Faker, Troublemaker was yet another typical Bad Boy, YA story, the same sort we've all read at least 1000 times before. WELL, BOY WAS I WRONG!
At its heart, CFTM is the story of two very broken people, grappling with how to help each other put the pieces back together again.

    Language: English
    Release date: 04-25-17

    Publisher's Summary:
Rory Harrison's beautiful novel about identity, home, and fresh starts recounts one boy's quest to discover a world where he can thrive, one adventure at a time.
Dylan doesn't have a lot of experience with comfort. His room in the falling-down Village Estates can generously be categorized as squalid, and he sure isn't getting any love from his mother, who seems to - no, definitely does - enjoy the perks that go along with being the parent of a "cancer kid".
His only escape has been in the form of his favorite video game - World of Warcraft - and the one true friend who makes him feel understood, even if it is just online: Arden. And now that Dylan is suddenly in remission, he wants to take Arden on a real mission, one he never thought he'd live to set out on: a journey to a mysterious ship in the middle of the Salton Sea.
But Arden is fighting her own battles, ones that Dylan can't always help her win. As they navigate their way west, they grapple with Arden's father (who refuses to recognize his daughter's true gender), Dylan's addiction, and the messy, complicated romance fighting so hard to blossom through the cracks of their battle-hardened hearts.
    Members Reviews:
Good for readers who love road trips
Dylan may have survived cancer, but surviving his mom is another matter. With a run-down home, his mother bored after taking advantage of his time sick, and unable to register for school, Dylan starts to drive. He finds himself at the home of Arden, the girl heâs been playing World of Warcraft with for years but never met in person. He proposes an epic, real-life quest, and before they know it, theyâre on the road. But running away from problems doesnât erase them, and as something blooms between Dylan and Arden, they both must face what they left behind if they want a future.
    What I Loved:
Though the writing style may not work for some, I enjoyed the short, quick paragraphs and chapters. The page count is on the longer side, but the style made it all too easy to say âJust one more chapter,â and end up reading at least 5 more.
My favorite part of LOOKING FOR GROUP is the relationship between Arden and Dylan. Both are discovering new sides of themselves, the good and the not so good. Neither character lets the other get away with mistakes, and I love the way they stand up to each other while still showing how much they care. This is one couple with high ship-ability.
    What Left Me Wanting More:
While the writing style is great and I love the relationship between Arden and Dylan, the plot fell a bit flat for me. I wasnât particularly invested in the storyline, and even though there was a clear goal in mind for their quest, it lacked strong enough tension to make me eager to keep reading.
    Final Verdict:
Though the plot didnât keep me fully engaged, readers who love road trip stories and slow-building romances will likely find LOOKING FOR A GROUP a solid choice.
    Boring at times.
I have to admit, I don't ever read the synopses for any of the books I read. I like going into books without knowing anything about them. That way, I can't get spoiled for the plot. Due to that, I thought this book was something completely different when I requested it. There's a web-comic called Looking For Group, and I thought this book was a novelization of that. It wasn't. The two have nothing to do with each other.

    Making bad choices
What was one of the most memorable moments of Making Bad Choices?
The story was good and because of the unconventional relationships it was what some would call taboo. Culter and Cassie weren't blood related and overall it didn't distract me from the storyline.
    Great YA/Teen Romance!
This story sucked me in right from the start. There were some really sad moments in the beginning and it felt real and heart wrenching. The characters were well developed and the story flowed well. There were a few surprises and some difficult moments.
The narrador did a great job bringing the story to life. She was able to put a lot of emotion into her narration. Excellent job narrating this book.
I really liked Cassie & Cutler. Their romance developed slow and sweet. It had a lot of depth and it was not superficial or uncertain. Their feelings were deep and strong.
Rita is a great author and I have enjoyed several of her books. This one is no exception. It is very well written and captivating. I'm looking forward to her next book.
"I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review."
    I really enjoyed this.
first off the characters.... I love each and every one of them. They were so well developed.
This is an awesome young adult story. I thought I really bonded with the characters.
I love the little twist that was thrown in there as well.
I get this is kind of taboo subject, but honestly I didn't find their romance that bad? ( What you listened you'll find out why I thought that. )
I adored Cassie, and I just wanted to give her a hug. I also thought her aunt Daisy was very entertaining
I was voluntarily provided this free review copy audiobook by the author, narrator, or publisher.
    Loved it!!!
    Any additional comments?
This audiobook was given to me for a honest unbiased review. I loved it. This was a very sweet yet hot story. The romance was slow starting but very well worth. The character development was excellent.
    Great Romance
This well written story quickly pulls you in and you soon become captivated by both the characters and the storyline. The development of Cassie and Cutlers relationship is slow, sensual and has a beauty to it that you don't often find in YA romances. The convoluted family relationships are realistic and heart wrenching, and the taboo of Cutler being Cassie's stepbrother adds complexity, uncertainty and a hint of daring to the story. The narrator suited Cassie to a tee, she captured the feel of a teen, the sorrow of loosing a parent and the breath holding feel of forbidden love.

    Publisher's Summary:
Debut author Jilly Gagnon bursts onto the scene with a story equal parts bite and romance, perfect for fans of Jenny Han and Jennifer E. Smith, about falling for someone in front of everyone.
In this modern-day love story, girl likes boy. Girl snaps photo and posts it online. Boy becomes insta-famous. And what starts out as an innocent photo turns into a whirlwind adventure that forces them both to question whether fame and love are worth the price and changes both of their lives forever.
Told from alternating points of view, #famous captures the sometimes crazy thrill ride of social media and the equally messy but wonderful moments of liking someone in real life.

Fresh and Fun, Even if Lacking
Not delving too deep into breaking down the story, I enjoyed the book. Yeah, the characters mention their feelings through similes with their guts at least once every five minutes, and plenty motivations felt contrived, but I got what I wanted when I first bought the book. I smiled a lot, rolled my eyes, and just enjoyed listening to something light.
Honestly, I feel like the book could have been so much more, and only grazed the surface of some really interesting concepts and character development. Everything was so /almost/. If a few more layers had been peeled back, I think this could have been a really fantastic story.
BUT! Like I said, it was pretty enjoyable. Rachel is fantastic, but unfortunately, Kyle felt pretty flat to me. He's exceptionally kind and hot, but that's about it. His relationship with Rachel felt like a spectator sport. He didn't really add anything to her wit or her interests, just watched her in amusement. Yeah, maybe that was supposed to be his arc in character development, but they had nothing in common until the very end.
I keep getting off-topic from what I really want to say. This book is fun! It's charming and witty. Definitely give it a listen if you're looking for something a little bit mindless, with romance and drama.
Fantastic debut novel, left me wanting more!
I really enjoyed this book, and doubt that I'm the exact target audience (over 50 female) - but I loved this book. Good character development, and brought you back to the innocent high school days. It is a great time in history to read this book.
The narrators, yes there are two, were both well cast. I especially liked 'Rachel' who sounded just the right age with accompanying emotions.
    I highly recommend this book.
