Join my conversation with Dr. Cecilia Argon at the NBAA convention in Las Vegas. As the Director of the Human-Centered Data Science Lab at the University of Washington, Cecilia grew up in America with her parents being immigrants. Timid and reserved, Cecilia described herself as timid and afraid to try new things as a child. After discovering flight, Cecilia started her flight training and eventually became the first Latina female pilot to fly for the US Aerobatic team. During my conversation, Cecilia talked about her childhood, her record-setting journey in aviation, and the work she is currently doing in academia.
