  • The greatest gift you can give yourself! Understanding how YOU are wired: How to survive with everyone at home, The VAK-Plus Model of learning and information processing!

The greatest gift you can give yourself! Understanding how you are wired can lead to a more joy filled life.  Or at least, help you understand some of the challenges you have faced during your spin on this planet. The Visual-Auditory-Kinesthetic (VAK) learning styles model provides a simple way to explain and understand learning styles. The VAK learning Style uses the three main sensory modalities (Vision, Auditory, and Kinesthetic) to determine a person's dominate or preferred learning (and memory) style.  In addition, there are Concrete/Analytic ("Left-Brained") and Artistic/Abstract ("Right-Brained") ways our brains process information for memory retrieval  later. Also, most of us filter the world chronologically.  Past, Present and Future processing is our mind's way of understanding the world around us.   Dr. Fred Clary, founder of Functional Analysis Chiropractic Technique and lifting/life coach/ gym-chalk covered philosopher opens a conversation on understanding your own information processing tendencies and learning styles.

  • The Monomorphists are coming! The Monomorphists are coming! A History Rant! Covid, H1N1, The Spanish Flu, What do we do?

Is it the host or the bug that is most important? The worse thing you can do is weaken the immune system when there is a pandemic.  H1N1 changed its glycoprotein spike arrangement in 1915.  In 1918 , it was called the Spanish Flu and killed 675,000 Americans and 100 million Worldwide!  But the human immune system adapted and fought back.  In June 2009 H1N1 changed a bit again and killed 13,000 Americans.  I personally was very worried about H1N1 (still am). Its nastier than most. H1N1 still causes 90% of all FluA outbreaks and infections today!   But the human immune system adapted and fought back.  Herd immunity as a group, better Th1 & Th2 and Killer T cells as an individual put us back on top of the food chain.  Natural selection rocking us on!  Dr. Fred Clary, founder of Functional Analysis Chiropractic Technique and lifting and life coach and gym chalk covered philosopher opens a conversation on the history of a pandemic. Prayers and positive thoughts to all those affected physically, emotionally, economically and spiritually by the current crisis!
