BUFFALO BILLS
Draft Round 2 (54): EDGE AJ Epenesa, Iowa (father-Walk on mentality) Idk why he fell (Beane) - damn good footballplayer Versatility- 3 tech & defensive base end. Round 3 (86): RB Zack Moss, Utah Were making call to move up to get him- stuck out on the board. At a need (peculaiar). Looking to deal a late saturday pick Nothing major with him that their medical people wanted to flag him and drop his value. Round 4 (128): WR Gabriel Davis, UCF Highest guy Didnt runa variety of routes in offense- wanted to see route tree. Called down there and got some practice clips. Not the full array he will fun (like baylor). Round 5 (167): QB Jake Fromm, Georgia Why? Had him in a spot where you just cant ignore- board fell this way. Round 6 (188): K Tyler Bass, Georgia Southern Saw him at SB- banged some live fieldgoals - leg strength is important in buffalo- felt he belonged here. Round 6 (207): WR Isaiah Hodgins, Oregon State
Not the highest guy- but felt better shot of making roster Double moved people real well, good catch radius- taller than davis “Didnt see another receiver win on more double moves than Hodgins. Drops his weight well- low drp rate Solves “Smurfs” at receiver- good to get some size guys for RZ- Didnt have fade route in repertoire Round 7 (239): CB Dane Jackson, Pittsburgh Several players similar at diff positions- him/his skillset had best shot at making roster
Beane Presser (no trades) Never tried to trade up in the second round- had 10 guys. First couple picks- BPA. Less wild card picks this year. 3rd round was picked over- Rb was a need
Was on with a team in the NFC to trade up- another team selected that player. Was a time they almost traded down- wanted a future pick… didnt fel like enough. Loses patience- If they have a “need” and a guy with a great grade- willing to trade up. Injry- Shoulder- may drop him a round ACLs maybe more than 1 round UDFAs Developed an app that allowed guys to color code where wythe were in negotiations, the amount offered by the bonus What teams udfa choice is down to. Covid 19 forcing innovation that might stick around for years
Free agency- Guys left: Jordan Phillips & Shaq Lawson. Guys signed

Offseason moves Traded a first rd pick for stefon diggs Ed Oliver - DUI, Weapon charge Brain Cox De- dpeth. UDFA- Trey Adams OT
KANSAS CITY CHIEFS
Round 1 (32): RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire, LSU- Unique player with unique talent- BPA- extraordinary Interior running ability, plays game in slow motion, lateral ability. Has all the traits. Explosive, can make something out of nothing
Round 2 (63): LB Willie Gay Jr., Mississippi State “First rd value player” Issues at college level- Did our homework on him with everything- figured out the issues and made sure of his character 5 games of film? - how much hw did you do? How he handled the suspension- was completely unblockable on practice field- would show up to play even when suspended- love the mentality
Round 3 (96): OT Lucas Niang, TCU Veach: value- blocked Bosa and young
Tremendous upside- versatile Will compete at guard- you do like the fact- he is smart and intelligent. Round 4 (138): S/CB L’Jarius Sneed, LA Tech Was top of their board on day 3 Round 5 (177): Edge Mike Danna, Michigan Round 7 (238): CB Thakarius Keyes, Tulane [trade]- looked at how the draft was falling & traded a future 6 for a 7th- knew he was gonna be draft (comensatory picks next year help live with this)- risk v. reward Like him- make sense- fits press man scheme
