Breaking News: Jason Hurley and the Meltdown Firebird team are not going to Street-N-Yeet!! This is huge news for Ryan and Tami Hargett meaning that one less competitor is off their list. “The decision has been made, we are not going to street and yeet and therefore are removing ourselves from world championship contention. It’s been a tough decision, but I feel it is the right one for our program.

We are coming out of the season right now in a really good spot to do some work this winter and come out next spring with a hot rod that we can really swing at the fences with next year.

I’m planning to show up some places people haven’t seen us before next year too.”

I look forward to Jason and the team making a serious run at the Championship for 2024!

Racers can only use one ⅛ mile event for their points. We will use a racers Top Three National event finishes as their points generation.

Adam is leading with three national events completed. 

We are including events that had 150+ registered entries. Registered meaning racers that paid entry. This will include include Street-N-Yeet, Drag Challenge and Midwest Drags into the Drag-N-Drive World Champion Points Series. I have changed the website to reflect this update. 

You have to remember, we are figuring this out as the year progresses. I have already begun to write out changes/updates for the 2024 World Champion series rules. 

I am currently having conversations with Delta Street Week and BC DragIT Challenge on their registered racer count for standings.

This week, Eric and I (Mike) talk about PRI 2023 plans for the booth and First-Ever Drag-N-Drive Awards! Then we discuss our trip to Summit Racing Midwest Drags, even having John Manckia on as a guest to tell the story of the parking lot engine swap!

Next up is Heads Up Hustle promoter John-Paul Franks and the guy that won it all, Carl Balzer of Hidden Horsepower to recap the Heads Up Hustle regional drag and drive event.
