Midwest Drags Registration - Two tech lines. Returning Racers with a lifetime SRMD go directly to Hot Rods by Havliks doing class tech with Rick Dodge doing NHRA / IHRA tech. New to Midwest Drags Racers check-in at GearVendors registration tent and get assigned SRMD number (placed on lower A pillar).

Registration Day (Moser Monday) will be Live Streamed (thanks to GearVendors Overdrive) with racer and participant conversations, test hits and sponsor spotlights on the Summit Racing House of Hustle channel.

We will visit with participants of events like Hot Rod Drag Week, Rocky Mountain Race Week 1.0 and 2.0, Sick Week, and many of the other events that are beginning to happen!  If you are new to Drag and Drive events, think of it like Two Lane Blacktop (you know, the old movie with the horrible ending). The participants of these events will drive their car from track to track, on public roads/highways, allowed only to use the parts/tools they bring with them in the car or in a trailer towed by the racecar. You must be self sufficient to compete in this type of endurance drag racing! There are no trucks with trailers that are following you to pick you up when you break.

Why do these guys put themselves though the torture of changing an engine on one of the Drag and Drive events??? These swaps all happened in the parking lot of the drag strip!! There are other stories of racers swapping engines on the side of the road, in hotel or parts store parking lots. 

Why don't these guys throw in the towel and get a trailer......they'll tell us what motivates them to finish!
