In the light of some of Paul's followers in Corinth falling away from the truth, Paul reminds them, he only preached Christ Jesus, the Son of God.

He reminds them that it was God who had anointed them and established them as well.

Paul reminds those in Corinth, that Christ not only appeared to a few, He appeared to over 500 people.

We can't allow others to discourage us about Christ resurrection, it is the foundation of our belief, as Christians.

For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive.

The sting of Death has been conquered.

Paul tells us to be steadfast in our belief, to be immovable and to always abound in the work of the Lord.

We are being tested, not unlike the Corinthians Church. Paul lets us know that our answer is the same as it was then. We must love our fellow man.

We should use words of exhortation, encouragement and edifying to help our brothers and sisters.

Paul lets us know that everything else be done away with, but love will last beyond all.

The Lord is not the author of confusion, if we come together to worship and pray, let all be done in an orderly manner.

Speaking in tongues should only happen when there is someone to interpret.

Paul lets them know that words that can be understood, are better that Spiritual speaking in tongue that no one understands, not even the one speaking.

Paul reminds us that the Lord's Supper is more than just food and drink. We should always example ourselves whenever we partake of it.

There are many parts of the body, but all are important.

God called us all.

Paul warns the Corinthian Church to not be like those before them. Those who perished in the desert. Those who began to worship false gods and idols.

Those happened to them and it should be an example to us today not to do the same things. We should flee all types of idols and sinful things.

Those things might be lawful, but they won't edify The Lord.

Whether we eat or drink, whatever we do, do all to the glory of God.

Paul reminds us that there are no idols, but that there is one God.

Knowing that there is only one God, we should still not cause those who believe otherwise to stumble, when they see our liberty.

Those who stumble due to our liberty belong to Christ, He died for them as well.

We are in a race and we don't want to be disqualified because we have no self control.

Paul shares what we are to do in marriage.

How it is good to be married if you are tempted with the lust of your flesh.

We are more concentrated on the Lord, when we are single.

It is not bad to marry, but it is better for some to stay single, if that is their gift. They shouldn't be forced to marry because social looks at them differently.

We should not seek to be separated, if we are married. The believing husband or wife could lead the unbelieving one to faith in Christ.

In this episode, Paul reminds us that we are Christ's body and we should never join our bodies with immoral things.

It seems there was a member of the local assembly, who married his father's wife.

We are not to associate with such so-called people in the body.

Finally, we are never to take a fellow saint to the court of law.

It may be lawful but not profitable.

We are to flee immorality and never let it become a part of our body.

Paul warns the church at Corint that there must not be any jealousy or strife in the body of Christ.

There are no big I's or little U's. Christ is the One, that causes the church to grow.

We plant and water, but it is Him who causes the growth and supplies the power for us all to be His witnesses.

We can build on no other foundation but that of Christ Jesus.

We are not to judge because God is the only one who knows our heart. We don't judge righteously anyway.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of the Lord.

Paul had heard there was division starting in the church.

They were some that were quarreling about baptism and who baptized them.

Some were going back to the teaching of the world's wisdom as their standard.

Paul was reinforcing the teaching of God's wisdom above all. No man can boast before God, because righteousness, sanctification and redemption comes from God.

Finally, faith would not rest upon nothing but the power of God.

The natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him.
