Dreams are the last bastion of the spirit world. The unbreakable link it maintains over all of us. Why? Because we are like spoiled children who hold contempt for their parents. Rebelling against them at every turn but still using their credit card. The irony.

 

And it is ironic that you ignore your dreams so much. Because they explain the misery in your life. They show its cause. But there is a whammy in the message because they show the part you play in creating your own misery. What? I’d rather it was all someone else’s fault. I want them to have to change. Not me. I’m perfect and you know it. Bloody do-gooder.

 

Well, you can keep drinking your own Kool-Aid or you can drink from the fountain of knowledge (that’s your dreams, by the way). The solution your dreams give – and they do give – allows you to take part in your own healing. How? By showing your unique path to a better life. The spirit world does not take away your obstacles. That would be mad since it spent so long putting them in front of you. Instead, the spirit world, via your dreams, shows you how to overcome these obstacles by healing and growing. The obstacle is not in the way – it is the way.

 

Alright, I hear you. Back up a bit there Michael. You just said that the spirit world put the obstacles in my way in the first place! So why would I want to listen to anyone who would do that?

 

Do you want the blue pill or the red pill Neo?

The spirit world puts the obstacles in your way because you asked it to. You came here for the growth. You planned your life – with great help of course. And part of the plan is to hit obstacles that will require you to change in order to overcome them. That change. That growth is the gold you take with you when you die. Nothing else goes with you. Your obstacles are unique to you and your solution to overcoming them is also unique to you. And it is detailed nightly in your dreams.

 

Your dreams are an illusion to help you wake up from other illusions. But it is your choice to wake up or not. Your choice to listen to your dreams or not. Your choice to put things off until your next life time. Of course, in your next planning stage, you will have to make it more restrictive since, through your own free will, you didn’t bother listening – you chose to not grow.

 

You can’t function without dreams. The Nazis did the horrible experiments to prove that. Dreams are as vital as air and water. You need them. They are the map of your life. If you want to know who you are – you need to listen to your dreams.
