Disneyland or Disney World? This week, we’re putting them head-to-head and sharing the things we think each resort simply does better.

From Disneyland’s food, park hopping, Lightning Lane system and classic rides to Disney World’s resorts, transportation, thrill rides and that unbeatable vacation bubble, we each came up with our lists and, surprisingly, we didn’t agree on everything.

We also talk about the rumors surrounding Disney World’s park entrance technology, the possible future of MagicBands, Disneyland hotel perks, fireworks, parades, security and why the two resorts can feel so completely different even though they’re both Disney.

Land by land, attraction by attraction, we’re deciding what we would keep, change or tear down if we were suddenly in charge of the park. Should the PeopleMover finally come back? Does Autopia need to go? What should replace Finding Nemo? Could Matterhorn become a Frozen attraction? And somehow we end up designing an Aladdin ride through the Cave of Wonders.

Some ideas are probably pretty good. Others might get us banned from Disneyland.

Tim got the chance to step inside Pixar Animation Studios, and this week we’re taking you along!

Disney trips are supposed to be about being in the moment. So why does it feel like we spend half the day staring at our phones?

That’s the problem behind a project Tim has been quietly working on: a new Disneyland app designed to actually help you use your phone less.

In this episode, we finally talk about the app, how it can suggest what to do next based on your family, location, preferences and current wait times, plus ride alerts, lock-screen wait times, food planning and more. The goal is simple: less scrolling, less bouncing around the park, and more time actually enjoying Disneyland.

Of course, this episode also completely goes off the rails.

We talk about the end of the Play Disney Parks app, possible app names, rides that constantly break down, how Disney trips change when you become a parent, and somehow end up debating whether we should book flights to Florida and finally take a Disney Cruise.

So yes, we built an app to get off our phones. And then talked about it for an hour.
