This week on Drinking & Dishing, the girls are wrapping up their season with some final thoughts and sharing some bloopers. It's a riot. There are a lot of good laughs, a lot of confusion, and a lot of drinking. The girls chat about what the podcast has meant to them and where they want it to go next season. Then, a blooper reel that is sure not to disappoint. Want to hear what happened when Nicole had to tap out? Hear the details of a shot shooting out someone's nose? It is sure to be a good time. The girls are here for a bittersweet ending to the season and can't wait to come back better than ever.
This week the girls are dishing about what it’s like to be a server and what it’s like to be waited on by a server. First, Nicole quizzes Stacey on some common restaurant lingo. After a rough start she does pretty well. Nicole gives us the details of what she’s done in the industry and informs us that it’s a “party business.” Who knew? Stacey didn’t. Then they dive into a super terrible experience they shared having poor service recently. It was a shit show! All this is just to say what makes a good server and what makes a good patron. They chat tipping your server, establishments that hire based off aesthetic, splitting checks, and of course, the service industry’s impact from the COVID pandemic. Grab something strong and drink along with the girls, because this weeks buzzed word is flying all over the place!

This week on Drinking & Dishing, the girls are taking it easy and going with the flow. They start off playing a game of supreme opinions because we know both girls certainly have those. This spawns debate of toilet paper, avocados, and so much more. Then Nicole and Stacey chat about accents, their own, the British ones they love, and how people with accents don’t think they have accents. Nicole gives us the lowdown on Facebook dating. Stacey explains how she can’t listen to podcasts without starting from the beginning. And then they get into what’s coming next for the show after summer break. Next, the girls play an updated version of the classic game, MASH. Hilarity ensues. From there, the girls spiral and spend more time getting to their last call than getting through it. But hey, that’s par for the course.

For the first time in Drinking & Dishing history, the girls didn’t make it though this episode in one shot (this was bound to happen, guys...we are committed to our theme!). That being said, LGBTQ+ Pride is the perfect topic to take in two parts. The more gay the better! In celebration of Pride month, your hosts are diving into an overview of what this month means to them and reflecting on the limitations, bias, and hardships of the community. Their trusty bartender, Captain Morgan, is here to sit down and chime in this week. The three discuss the growth of the pride movement and where and why it started. They touch on the divide between the church and LGBTQ+ people and the impact of both communities on each other. They chat about young trans-hood, and how parents respond to young trans people. Briefly hitting on pronouns and fluidly, sexuality and identity are the theme of this week and the girls are here to open the conversation and speak their truth. This is certainly a topic with lots to dish about. The girls are hitting just a tip of the iceberg, but didn’t want to end June without putting a positive message out for LGBTQ+ folks and their allies.

This week on Drinking & Dishing your hosts are riding the struggle bus. Part three of Drunk Stories was recorded on MDW and celebrating made both girls hit a wall (it happens!). Nevertheless, they power through to share another round of listener and listener inspired stories that may or may not have come with some regret, or in some cases, a crisp $100. Trains seem to be a pretty common thread among these episodes and this time around does not disappoint. The girls also play a few games where you can get all the juicy details of who’s more likely to and who’s taller. Don’t forget to stay hydrated and drink along; may it be water or may it be wine!

This week the girls are taking on a big issue in a way they haven’t before. They sit down with Jess, Stacey’s sister, who has a master in Legal Studies and wrote a thesis on wrongful convictions. There are a lot of layers to this important topic and this week, Nicole and Stacey wanted to get to know more about it. They walk through the reasons that someone can be incarcerated even if they are innocent. The girls look at every part of a persons life that can be effected both behind bars and in a life after prison, only if they are lucky enough to be exonerated. They touch on what states do and don’t provide for those who are finally freed after being put away for something they didn’t do. This week is unofficially dedicated to The Innocence Project, an organization that takes on these cases and fights for the liberty of those who are innocent. As always they are raising a glass, but today’s episode they are doing so in hopes of justice being served in the right way.

This week, the Drinking & Dishing gals are joined by Joanna to dish about astrology. Nicole, Stacey and Jo get started with their horoscopes. This hits the nail on the head each time and opens up a bigger conversation about their signs and birth charts. They walk through all the things that they find most accurate about what the stars and planets have to say about each of them and how it relates to other people of similar or different signs. This proves to be both interesting and fun while they pick apart their traits and emotions based strictly off the astral plane. They may not have gotten to talk about blowjobs in this episode, but hilarity still ensues as they get drinking and dishing about what make them, them!

On this thirsty Thursday, Nicole and Stacey are dishing about online dating. They are diving into the good, the bad and the ugly of dating apps and blind dates. Captain Morgan may be out of commission, but nothing stops these two from drinking to all the weirdos on the internet. The girls start off swiping. After Stacey finds her new friend Oliver, they move into telling their own personal stories that have spawned from dating apps. They chat about what things make them swipe left, safety and ghosting, and the overall highs and lows that come with the territory. Cheers to swiping, kids!

This week, Drinking & Dishing is getting personal! The girls are chatting about cheating and open relationships and their take on what both of those things entail. What things count as cheating? What things are okay in an open relationship? They get down to the nitty-gritty about boundaries and communication. They speak from personal experience. Nicole and Stacey may have different points of view, but both know that everyone has their own limits and bounds within a relationship. They touch on inclusivity and so many other things this week. There’s a lot of honesty and even more fun, so grab a drink and sip along as the girls dish about so much SEX! Cheers!
