It’s another interesting week of Drinking & Dishing. The drinks this week are all peach flavored and that’s about the only consistency this episode has. The girls are free-styling this week. Stacey attempts to catch listeners up on all the empty promises shes made about getting back to them. Nicole recommends other podcast she’s made friends with on social media.  There’s a new puppy, an injury, sleep talking, and plenty of other topics to touch on this week. This week, your favorite girls to drink with are telling more drunk stories! And one that takes them way too long to get through. Similar to the first round of drunk stories, Nicole and Stacey start off testing each other on their “name that tune” abilities. Then they get the chance to share some listener drunk stories and they are something! Turns out, these two aren’t the only wild ones. And then, they take the train to nowhere, and you guessed it, they don’t get very far. When these hosts get drinking, they can’t tell a story without including EVERY other story that crosses their mind. The girls hit the climax eventually, after all, that is the best part.

Do you feel safe on social media? This week the girls are drinking and dishing about just that. Nicole and Stacey start off discussing stats from their listeners. The girls break down the documentary “The Social Dilemma” and how they feel about the scary world that is social media today.  The irony of this discussion isn’t lost on them, but the darker side (but not like, super darker side) of the World Wide Web is just something that has to be talked about. Directly curated ads, post and notification are set to manipulate our minds and keep us scrolling, and Nicole and Stacey have a lot to say about it. They discuss the influence of online presence. Artificial intelligence, an increased rate of self harm, the hot google guy, and the massive burden of fixing the problem are all only the tip of the iceberg. This is a big conversation.
