This is based on the memoirs written by Gypsy Rose Lee who rose to fame for her burlesque performance. I go into the musical and then talk about the real story of what happened and what happened after the musical takes place. I’m sure a bunch of y’all are excited to finally see another Sondheim show!

The 2008 filmed broadway production is available to purchase on Youtube, OR there is also a movie adaption with many of the original broadway cast. I recommend both of them. It tells us the message that there is no day but today and to live as such.

21 Chump Street is a one act musical with a run time of under 15 minutes. It is based on Justin Laboy and his experience as a student when there was an undercover police operation going on at his school. Written by Lin Manuel Miranda, you know this is gonna have bops!
