We start off the show with a conversation on instant coffee. Michelle, as usual is skeptical of this product.

Then, as we finish up our tribute to Canadian veterans we’re joined by Dan from Grenadier Brewing in Toronto.

And finally we are joined by Canadian veterans Moe and Nancy from Prairie Dawg Winery, which is near Ottawa.

This week on the show, Michelle & Courtney start off with the results of their twitter poll. What did the listeners say they wanted to hear more of on the show? You'll find out!

Then, the DOU duo continue the tribute to Canada's veterans as they're joined by Pat from Old School Cheesery in Alberta. Pat was a lot of fun. He spoke of community, both while in the military and at home in Alberta. (the cheese sounds delicious too!)

Finally, the ladies speak with Tom from Two Hawks Brewing. Michelle was driving (and was safely connected via bluetooth), so Courtney took the lead on this one. We hear a now familiar story of how the military prepared him to start his own business.

This week Drinks On Us starts a month long tribute to our Canadian veterans by featuring veteran owned businesses.

First Courtney & Michelle speak to a familiar guest. Mike from Last Straw Distillery joins the DOU team again to discuss his experience in the army, and how that prepared him for his future career as a lawyer and distillery owner.

Next Kevin joins from Vimy Brewing, he discusses his experience in the Royal Canadian Navy, and the brewery.

It's not uncommon to see people on tv drinking coffee. Michelle & Courtney talk about two iconic shows who centre around coffee. Just how much did the Friends and the Gilmore Girls consume? You may be surprised.

Dave from Genuine Tea has a conversation with Courtney. (as Michelle writes this description she has not heard the interview - so cannot provide any more detail than that!)

At long last, Courtney gets her sample of Viva La Stout from Sawdust City Brewery, and it does not disappoint. Courtney and Michelle discover that their versions are a bit different - Michelle's is just a bit boozier.

The girls have rambled...a lot, so Michelle races through the twitter segment and the show finale.

Hosts Michelle and Courtney try honey with coffee instead of sugar and speak to Cooper Sleeman of Spring Mill Distillery.

This week, Michelle starts off with a coffee tasting of Starbucks Kenya blend. It's bright and citrusy, and everything Michelle loves in a cup of coffee.

Next, Courtney & Michelle are joined by Aaron Post of Tall Post Cider in Hamilton. He has quite a story, and the girls could have easily spoken with Aaron for 4 or 5 hours. You'll hear about how he started his business, his adaptability, and his passion for farming.

Then, because the girls were in the mood for another tasting, they find a recipe from Bobby Flay for mulled cider. It's an autumnal classic!

The listeners weigh in. "If you could only drink one liquor for the rest of your life, what would it be?" Michelle says "wine", Courtney says that doesn't count....
