Do you feel that? The magic in the air? No, it's not the Olympics, it's something more... Like a song in your heart, and the Kings of Drink Mountain certainly have a few! They're not afraid to let them out, either, as they live their truth while reviewing an offering from the Colorado Sake Co.
The magic continues as your hosts exchange the new gold standard of birthday gifts, Josh learns about Italians and tomatoes, and we all take in the wonder of the song Ben found to cover up some copyrighted music. Plus, plenty of discussion of that definitely-relevant-in-2024 hit 'WAP' because, why not? America's Favorite Podcast is nothing if not up with the times!
So grab a bucket and a mop and enjoy this episode of Drinks With Josh!
America's Favorite Podcast is loaded up and truckin' and definitely doing things that shouldn't be done; especially when this listener-donated drink hits their systems. That's right, Drink Mountain's favorite big load hauler, Trucker Tim, has generously sent in some Four Loko Jungle Juice for review. Amazingly, this is the boys' first exposure to one of the true inner-circle heavy hitters of the bum wine game.
In addition to their deep regret in having it taken so long to get to Four Loko, there's also some random Australia trivia, the brand new brilliance of "Serious Corner," a needed rant against today's cheap-o phone makers, and the single greatest voice mail message of all time. And we're certainly not prone to hyperbole here at America, Greenland, and New Zealand's Favorite Podcast!
So load up on that go go juice and get the rubber to the road with this episode of Drinks With Josh!
April 7th. The most important day on the calendar. That is Drinks With Josh Anniversary Day (like you needed to be told), and this year is a special one, as we mark a decade of America's Favorite Podcast! In honor of the day, the boys present your ears with a true test: can you survive this dumpster fire? Challenge yourself (as your hosts did) with 10 drinks, a plethora of call ins, endless top ten lists, Braindead Trivia, a nose full of miniature Andes mints, and so much more. Over 3 hours worth, in fact! Good luck!
Don't worry, everyone. You will not catch covid nor the herp, as "This Episode Has Been Sanitized." Just not from foul language or terrible references. Those are there, as always! This time, America, Greenland, and New Zealand's Favorite Podcast keeps it local with a review of a hometown beverage offering. Plus, a quick jaunt around the world with a mini review of a supposedly Aussie treat, that somehow does not contain vegemite. Meanwhile, Josh considers his career options after a job offer from WAY up on the food chain, and the boys realize what their Senator has probably been writing in his spare time. All this nonsense, plus a lot more (nonsense) is waiting for you, courtesy of the Kings of Drink Mountain!
Drinks With Josh may be The One True Religion (among many other things), but that doesn't mean they cannot learn from the faith of others. America's Favorite Podcast gets immediately in touch with the local religion by trying out a no sugar, no caffeine soda; will it also be no taste? Speaking of no taste, the boys also classlessly discuss everything from tithing to Mormon board games to why Asians explode. No, that last one isn't especially religious, but there's more to this world than just sitting in church, right? Plus, a VERY special guest makes a surprise appearance, just as Josh performs a VERY Sancred (no, we didn't misspell sacred) rite. Will the powers above approve of the boys' foray into spirituality, or will the recorder work in mysterious ways? Find out in this episode!
It's what? Nine years into this thing? And we've finally got an official Halloween episode! America's Favorite Podcast returns with America's favorite (fall, basic) beverage: Starbucks' own Pumpkin Spice Latte. A beverage perfect not just for Halloween, but fall in general. One that inspired the boys to slap on some Uggs, buy the most gorgeous (yet basic) sweater-dresses they could find, and drop some leaves into their cups. Things get spooky as they drive the dragula straight through topics ranging from the best Halloween costume ideas you'll ever hear to Josh's latest app pitch to Silicon Valley to Bill Cosby's failed business venture. Plus, a review of not just the drink, but a very basic, yet manly snack. So stop turning tricks and get into our treats with a pumpkin-spiced episode of Drinks With Josh!
Well look at this! A new episode of America's Favorite Podcast! Remember when you used to get these every couple of weeks? (Hopefully not.) Speaking of remembering, do you remember when the Kings of Drink Mountain lent their considerable talents to the Plum Forest Podcast? They sure do. Remember when they tried polvoron? Well, it's back baby! And with a rousing game of Guess the Flavor! And speaking of remembering again, remember when Ben used a terrible "speaking of" segue about 45 times in this episode? You will!
This show isn't all about the past, though. In fact, it gets downright futuristic as the boys plan their next vrbo airbnb timeshare youth hostel road trip stay on their robot phones. Robot phones which are then asked horrible, horrible things. Josh is lucky AI can't come for him yet... Then the boys dial up their "phone a friends" to settle THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION OF OUR LIFETIMES. Shout out to Tangents With Toby for saving the day! Oh yeah, and there's a dumpster fire of a drink in there somewhere too. So let your beverage heroes suffer through their libations while you get nothing but laughter vibrations in this episode of Drinks With Josh!
The Kings of Drink Mountain have finally returned to the throne after a long period of hedonistic bacchanalia! It's good to be kings! Or maybe they're just lazy and didn't record, and even when they did, didn't edit it for ages. Whatever the case, America, Greenland, New Zealand, and Japan (!?!)'s Favorite Podcast is back! And rejoice in it, because not only is there a new show, but the drink pulls off a feat the likes of which has not been seen in quite a while!
Meanwhile. there's Utah's beloved bat-phone restaurant, Josh's secret life as the Middle Eastern Yogi Bear, and an alarming new way to contract shingles that you'll want to be sure to avoid. Braindead Trivia's also back, because you wouldn't know what to do with yourselves without it. Just admit it. So sit back and relax with The Comfiest Podcast Around (there's an old one for ya), because you never know when there will be another...
Even the best beverage experts out there can still learn a few things about the field. Case in point, the Kings of Drink Mountain learn a very important lesson about dipping snacks in beverages while reviewing a classy, upscale version of their favorite bum wine. Let's just say that Freaknasty would be proud of them. Speaking of nasty, make sure to keep the kiddies and the easily offended away, as America's Favorite Podcast gets a bit edgier than usual while discussing the royal family, unsafe gummy snacks, a DWJ member going (podcast) solo, and meat loaf. No, not that one. Of course, good old Braindead Trivia is along for the ride, as well as another of the world's most trusted beverage reviews. So come along as I dip, you dip, we dip in this episode of Drinks With Josh!
America's Favorite Podcast returns with yet another highly trusted beverage review. Or at least they try to, but a certain cinematic classic seems to be drawing all the attention... The Kings of Drink Mountain discuss Josh's favorite Robin Williams film, along with his beef with Taco Bell, how French's mustard got its name, and a certain flick with this amazing cast: The Rock, Heidi Klum, Mike Judge, the NY Philharmonic, Kirsten Dunst, Ed Begley Jr., AND Charles Manson. Talk about a killer lineup!
Plus. listener questions from the amazing Jim at the Friday Night Music Party, Ben's questions from the less amazing Braindead Trivia, and Josh's truly groundbreaking attempt at asking the most incoherent question ever! So clean your glasses and stock the fridge, because it is time once again to have Drinks With Josh (and Ben too, I guess)!
