  • Why Victims Suffer Shame & Blame: How to Overcome & Forgive

    Send us Fan Mail

Victim blaming creates a secondary trauma for those who have already survived violence, adding unnecessary pain to their healing journey.

    • More than half of all women experience at least one traumatic event in their lifetime
    • Women experience PTSD at nearly double the rate of men (10-12% vs 5-6%)
    • Over 90% of women reporting any traumatic event have experienced multiple traumas
    • Victim blaming occurs when people hold victims responsible for crimes committed against them
    • This harmful psychological mechanism helps observers maintain an illusion of control
    • The "precipitation theory" explains why we focus on victims' actions rather than perpetrators
    • Our culture subtly reinforces victim blaming through messages about empowerment and prevention
    • PTSD healing progresses through five stages: impact, denial, recoil, integration, and recovery
    • Forgiveness significantly improves mental and physical health
    • True forgiveness means letting go of resentment without excusing harmful behavior

I encourage everyone to silence the voices of blame – from others and from within – and work toward forgiveness as a daily practice. It won't erase what happened, but it can free you from the prison of unforgiveness and improve your health and wellbeing.

  • Finding Strength in Solitude and Silence- Hannah's Victory

    Send us Fan Mail

This latest episode is a message for women who feel isolated and unseen, despite being surrounded by family and loved ones. It speaks to those who are carrying unspoken dreams and desires, weighed down by external expectations. The episode encourages these women to reflect on their inner struggles, confront the lies and doubts that have been imposed on them, and recognize their own worth and purpose.

Drawing inspiration from the biblical story of Hannah, the episode explores themes of isolation, misunderstanding, and unfulfilled desires. Hannah's pain of being childless and dismissed by those who should have supported her is used as a metaphor for how many women feel ignored or invalidated. Despite being surrounded by others, like her husband and rival wife, Hannah's emotional needs were overlooked, leading her to find solace in prayer and God's presence.

The episode emphasizes the power of heartfelt prayer and the importance of connecting with God, who is always present and attentive to our struggles. It reassures women that, like Hannah, they too can find strength and healing by surrendering their desires to God's will. By trusting in His promises, seeking His guidance, and embracing His love, women can overcome the challenges and pain that life throws at them.

In conclusion, the episode offers hope, reminding women that God's love is constant, and His grace is sufficient to bring them through difficult times. It encourages them to trust in God's faithfulness, to listen to His voice, and to live in His love, which has the power to heal and empower them to overcome obstacles and thrive.

  • Episode 2 - Get a Transfusion of Faith & Hope! Touch the Hem of His garment!

    Send us Fan Mail

This second episode of the Drip Line delves into the overwhelming impact of pain.

When life keeps hitting, one wound after another, leaving us hemorrhaging, drained, and barely holding on, what do you do?  When the weight is unbearable, and words, prayers, and even emotions feel out of reach, what can you do?  When the tears have dried, and numbness sets in, making you question if you’re even still present - there is hope!  Here is what you do:

When you’re bleeding out, it’s time for a transfusion.

Hence, in this episode we explore the powerful biblical story of the woman who bled for twelve years and found healing by touching the hem of Jesus' garment, revealing how persistent faith can transform our most desperate circumstances.

    • Every moment matters and represents a victory in our healing journey
    • The woman in Matthew 9, who bled for 12 years demonstrates how to keep fighting despite ongoing suffering.
    • Coming to God "from behind" shows we don't need perfection to seek healing
    • Faith as small as a mustard seed has the power to create profound change
    • The poem "A Second, a Moment, A Day" reminds us that sometimes victory is simply enduring another moment
    • When worldly solutions fail, persistent faith creates pathways to healing
    • Our personal struggles often mirror the isolation and marginalization of biblical figures.

Tune in again next time for more inspiration and healing. Be blessed.

  • Truth & The Beauty of Healing

    Send us Fan Mail

Episode 1: The Beauty of Healing

Welcome to the Drip Line, a space where we explore the healing of our souls, and specifically the power of emotional, mental, and spiritual restoration for women. As women, we often find ourselves marginalized, misunderstood, and trampled upon. But in this first episode, we’ll focus on reclaiming our strength and embracing healing, starting with the most powerful force available to us: Truth.

What is Truth? You’ll discover in future episodes how Truth is not just an idea, but a guiding force for transformation. In this journey, we will uncover the deep truths — truth that can heal, empower, and ultimately set us free.

This first episode is a celebration of you—of us. We are all beautiful, triumphant, and worthy of healing simply because we are alive. Though our experiences may have been brutal or traumatic, they do not define or limit us. They do not have to be destructive or annihilating. Instead, our pasts can become marks of strength—etched into us like lines of a poem, each line adding depth to the beauty of who we are.

You are a living testament to resilience. You are a poem in progress. You are beautiful, you are loved, and most importantly, you can be whole. This is just the beginning of your journey toward embracing the fullness of your healing and Truth.

Thank you for being here. Let's walk this path together, discovering the power of Truth, one drip at a time.
