We're headed into summer, just experienced Memorial Day, and our guy Roger was able to visit during the holiday, and if bro is in town, we're got a seat for him to come talk! Today, we literally just talked. we ask each other questions and get to it! The answers are some of the most hilarious, but definitely worthwhile.

I think today, more than ever, we talk being intentional, going in a direction of growth, but today, we're just here to talk. The intent is still the same, to have conversations that we need to have, but usually don't, and we stay on that mission for almost every episode of this podcast, but we can't always talk about death, mental health, relationships, etc. We've gotta' have fun, and make sure we're still in a good space. It's the balance of friendships. We're definitely the friend that's going to make you laugh as much as we have those deeper conversations.

Like every episode, we're just wanting to have conversations about everyday things. Those conversations that we should be having, to inform, to grow, to become better people for each other, and this conversation with Adrian was one that I think is needed, especially in our community, and to us, it's even better on a personal level. I think that way, its an easier conversation that allows you to connect, learn more on a personal level and realize those differences you think are there, yeah, they really aren't. In our conversation with Adrian, we find out we weren't so bad after all...lol

In our growth, accountability and honesty are huge, so I think it's easy for the Dropping Dymes crew to admit that we might not have been as open and receptive to the subject or the community as we should have been, wayyyy back when we were younger. Over time, we've grown, been educated on different levels, and want to continue to learn how we can be better in fostering our relationship with their community, so it becomes more of a seamless connection, and allows for just one big happy world! Today's episode is is one of those "they're just talking about any damn thing" kind of episodes. We start it with one of the opening questions that lead to us learning more and more about each other, so you're learning while we learn. Know that this transparency we're giving you all is new for all of us, but definitely worth it all. What's the craziest thing you've done for a partner? Did you want to be around them so bad, did you miss them that much? Did you just need their presence? Let us know your story for that, because we've all got one.

You ever had a crush on someone? Was it someone that maybe you wasn't even supposed to be with? Did you ever speak to your crush, or was it one of those that you just admire from a distance? THE DDP guys have all had them, and somehow, someway, all ended up at least speaking to them, but in different ways. In some instances, they panned out to be something awesome, other instances, it probably shouldn't have even happened, but some growth and a funny story came from it, at least. The things we do for you all...lol

Lastly, we talk about a legend amongst the living, Jamie Foxx. Crazy how quickly things can change, in a good direction, or a bad. We were having this discussion about him not doing well, and possibly getting worse, and the next day, his family released a statement that he was out of the hospital, and was doing a lot better. I guess for his family, friends, fans, prayers were answered. Some still want more evidence of him doing better, but is that really our business? Let us know your thoughts on that, but also who was someone you'd never met, but felt as though you were directly impacted when things happened in their lives?

Of course, as we're dedicated to having conversations that need to be had, we also have those conversations that aren't always going to be the easiest to have, and sometimes, might get a little uncomfortable. This isn't one of them as you'll see, but even those won't detour us, because we have them to help encourage you to have them.

We were asked the question who is more responsible for the deficiencies in men, which to us felt almost like an attack, so we kind of back the question out some and came up with what we're giving you today. We essentially asked who or which parent is more important in the raising of a good human or a good kid? We know that many factors go into raising a what most would consider a good child that we hope grows into a good adult, but we also know that there are so many of which are completely out of your control.

Who would you say was more instrumental in your years as a kid? Who played the bigger part, and what made it that way for you? Even as a parent, who do you think may be more detrimental? Let us hear your thoughts, your experiences, you know we really want to know, especially after we've talked your ears off about it.

Today is a GOOD one, and I mean that! As you can see, the title is "Are you marriage material," and we really find out what the DDP guys think is marriage material. We all give our thoughts and opinions on what we think it looks like to us, then we answer the question about ourselves. Even with Wallace and Brandon being married, I think their answers might surprise you a little bit.

One of the toughest things about this conversation is the accountability portion, figuring out if you're really good to be a husband or a wife. We're not saying that you'll just wake up one day, and you'll be the very best mate, but we're saying, what qualities do you poses that one would find admirable enough to move forward and being a part of that growth for the rest of their lives.

There is no class to become a great spouse, and there is no answer that covers everyone, and that's exactly why finding YOUR person is so important. Because you should be able to be and do those things that are needed for them, without losing yourself in the process. But in fact becoming a better version of yourself.

Today, we throw our 2 cents in the pool about a word that we hear all the time, probably being used wrong, and everyone thinks it's coming to get them, and that's Karma! We talk about if it's karma or your fate, your destiny. In some definitions, karma is fate, but to some, karma is the actions that come after your actions, whether good or bad.

As always, we give our thoughts, opinions, and try to give a few examples to get others to see it our way, but we know how that can go sometimes. We even have a first on this episode! No we weren't able to get one another to change their perspective, but it's definitely a first in there...lol We take a little bit of a look into how we think karma has affected our lives, or how destiny was already written for our lives and outcomes.

Now that we have you here, right now, and yes, it's your destiny to be right here, at this very moment, so since you are, what are your thoughts, are you a karma believer, do you believe we are where we are because it was just meant to be, or maybe we're getting it wrong, and you have a better explanation. I'm not going to even say this one is a good talk, we're going to just let you judge for yourself, but in our simple minds, it could be one that's a little bit better than good...lol

As you can see in the title, we're delving into what comes after sex. We talk the immediate actions after, the emotional reactions, the expectations, the...well, all of that and then some! What would you think would be the natural progression? Is there one? Should there be expectations if nothing was communicated or expressed "pre-sex?" I think sometimes, we're having so many surface conversations, but these, yeah, these are the ones that we should be having. Not only with your friends, but clearly with the person you're engaging or about to engage with, to figure out what it looks like after the act.

What if after the sex, one party knows they care, but think you two should abstain until things grow, or what if a title is needed going forward, would you be okay with those terms? While we're at titles, how do you feel about those as well, do you need a title to feel, for lack of a better term, comfortable? You know we want to hear your thoughts, hear your questions, and everything in between.
