It’s that time of the week again *sigh*. Ben has been drumming his little heart out in the studio and find out about his video audition for a fairly big metal band. George has been swimming and tells a tale of gluttony that resulted in tears. There’s Tom Of The Week, the Drum Dumpster and a bank that doesn’t accept cash? Insane.

Welcome to another episode of Drum and Drummer! This week Ben and George had a chat with session drummer extraordinaire Ben Kennedy. They chat about his career which really got going when he was cast as the drummer in the Girls Aloud music video for The Promise. Other highlights include touring with Ladyhawke, FOXES, Claire Maguire and James Walsh (Starsailor). Ever wondered what it’s like to support Coldplay on a stadium tour of the US? Wonder no more as Benny K has been there and done that. He’s also supported the likes of Bastille and Pharrell. That’s an impressive curriculum vitae. There’s also “fan favourite” Tom Of The Week and find out what made it into the Drum Dumpster. Enjoy!

Much to your probable disappointment it’s just Ben and George on this week's episode. But fear not as the pie of chat is jam packed with meaty filling. MEATY! Wedding season is back so there’s some gig updates, find out how George’s gig with Wren went plus how he’s getting on with his new crew job at the Brighton Centre. We find out who won Guess The Tom, who’s Tom Of The Week and what made it into the Drum Dumpster and then for some unknown reason there’s a big old chat about beans on toast and general ‘food admin’. Enjoy!

This week Ben and George are joined by very special guest Adam Jackson who plays drums for UK metalcore titans, Bury Tomorrow. Having had a somewhat difficult time during the pandemic the band are back bigger and better than ever with their new single ‘Death (Ever Colder)’ and work is already underway on a new album. They chat about how Adam started playing drums and the birth of Bury Tomorrow, artist endorsements, being signed to a major label, recording prep and process, playing live, nerves and the little task of playing the main stage at Download 2022. Enjoy!

Hello! On this week's show George had a nightmare couple of hours with Covid and his MOT and Ben’s a bit frustrated at work but there’s plenty to talk about; the new Pearl snare drum has arrived, George gets some new gig opportunities (and is too young to remember Saved By The Bell) and find out who is this week’s Tom Of The Week. Plus wedding season is back on with the boys both out gigging this weekend but is Ben looking forward to it?

In this week’s episode the lads chat about phones, attention spans (you still with us?), the early days of YouTube, getting around London before the iPhone, never switching off from work and we find out what website Ben first visited at an internet cafe in the mid 90s. Plus Tom Of The Week, Ben's favourite video game, George’s drum book collection, drum practice, life mottos and is this the first Drum and Drummer challenge between the guys? Enjoy!
