Danny Miranda has only been podcasting for 2 years and has already interviewed the who's who of the business & creator worlds. Among his guests are Gary Vaynerchuk, Tom Bilyeu, Sahil Bloom, Anthony Pompliano, Derek Sivers, Sam Parr, Noah Kagan, James Altucher, Mike Maples, Kamal Ravikant, Gay Hendricks, Ali Abdaal, and Joe De Sena—and many, many more. He's one of the most dedicated, thoughtful, empathetic podcasters I know and if I could bet my money on people instead of startups his career as a podcaster would undeniably be one of my investments.
Needless to say, I admire him as a creator. But I also appreciate him as the friend who nudged me into starting my own podcast after I told him I wanted to someday. He's the kind of intentional, curious & growth-oriented person you know will have not only the expertise but also the advice to be actually indispensable which is exactly why I chose him as a guest.

The Danny Miranda Show (Apple)
This interview is a conversation with my friend Emily Rose, the thoughtful, funny & whip-smart pop culture commentator behind the TikTok channel @itsbecomeawholething as well as the host behind the podcast of the same name. We started posting on TikTok around the same time (Emily now has over 283K+ followers on TikTok) and have had many chats abut the journey. In this interview we have a candid conversation about what it's really like behind the scenes as a creator & dealing with the algorithm.

In this episode I interview Miki Reynolds, co-founder & executive director of Grid110, about venture capital & alternative sources of funding for startups.
We discuss:
About Miki:
Miki Reynolds is CEO & Co-founder of Grid110, an LA-based early stage startup accelerator and community development non-profit. Since 2014, Miki has focused on activating the startup ecosystem in Los Angeles through her work with Grid110, building community, and connecting the dots for entrepreneurs through access to mentoring and critical resources. She’s also a scout for Bonfire Ventures (investing in pre-seed B2B companies) and a Venture Partner at Republic. Prior to co-founding Grid110, Miki spent 10 years building digital products for clients like MGM Studios, 20th Century Fox, Dreamworks, Angry Birds, SpaceX and LiveNation before transitioning to community focused work by launching the Downtown LA campus for tech education company General Assembly.
Miki is a critical part of the LA startup ecosystem and has accepted commendations from Mayor Eric Garcetti on behalf of General Assembly and Grid110. She has been recognized by LA Biz Journal as a Woman of Influence, was named to Techweek’s #Techweek100, and sits on advisory councils for two of the Mayor's diversity inclusion initiatives: PledgeLA and WiSTEM LA.
