Where, oh where, has my little minion been placed?  Where, oh where, has it cast?  That’s our topic today.  We tried to do something a little different too.  Rather than just spit ball some things, we reviewed a short game and went over the thought process of what was going on.  Not only because it’s a different format than we’ve done before and we want to try different things, but also because it makes use of a new feature the the Duelyst client released.  What’s that you ask?  THIS!  If you click here you should be taken to an out of client game replay of the game that we discuss.    I’m not confident that we mentioned that properly in the actual episode, but we’ll also have a video on Youtube with real time commentary.  You can either listen and watch the replay before or after, or you can watch the Youtube video.  Let us know what you like or don’t like.

Watch out for a few new features coming soon, too!  I don’t want to spoil things before I get everything in place, but within the next week or so the web-site will have a new little feature for the sake of value and content.  Hopefully, it will be something the community will be able to make good use of, but we’ll see how it goes.  Happy listening, and let us know what you think.

Hey!  We’re back.  We took a week or so off.  Hard to gauge the exact time frame as we don’t have the most regular posting sequence in the world.  Regardless, here we are giving you some delicate, delicious Duelyst content.

We wanted to round out the theme that we started with last episode.  Last episode we began with reviewing first turn options, and this episode we are reviewing the end of game.  While there are many scenarios and situations that may have happened to resolve you to turns allotting 8 or 9 mana, we look to go over just a few of them in order to delight and entertain you.  You may sit and listen thinking, “Why didn’t they talk about that time that I was assaulted by a large sweating Hungarian on turn 5.  Nothing they’ve said accounts for decisions made after being concussed by a fist the weight of a ball-peen hammer.”  To which we’d respond, yes.  Nothing we say will advise you in such a situation.  Fight as best you can digitally, and physically to resolve the game and your life.  Otherwise, consider the situations we do review, and in all other cases seek professional aid and advise.

Welcome to Duelcast.  Twenty five episodes in and we’re finally talking about the first turn.  Well this wasn’t intentional.  We wanted to talk about several strategic plays at critical points of the game, but somebody wanted to argue too much…

That said, we’ve talked a little in the past regarding placements and things to do at different stages of the game, but here we get into a little more detail.  While you may feel as though you’ve pretty well mastered what to do on the first turn of the game, we hope you enjoy hearing our lively discussion regarding all the things we could think of regarding a play which typically takes the least amount of time in the game.

Remember that time we posted a poll on the site?  Well, here we are to talk about it.  Sure, it was three weeks ago and related to hype for an event that already happened, but we aren’t here to be timely we’re here to be slightly disappointing.  We are Americans after all.  If we can’t make you a little more disheartened after listening to us I don’t think we’re doing our jobs.  At least that’s what my culture and generation have lead me to understand.

With that said, listen up!  In all reality, however, we wanted to have a retrospective review of what we all thought about the set just before the launch, and see how it compared to where things landed.  Overall, not unlike many things in life, we were a little off the mark it seems.  There were some aspects of the set that turned out to be much better, and others that were much worse.  The nice thing about the breadth of a set this size that still stands to change.

Regardless, open your ears and shut your mouth.  Indulge your desires for more Duelcast, and tell us how much you wish we were better than we are.

We got a little behind doing all those reviews, but it’s time to catch up.  A lot has happened in the last few weeks in the world of Duelyst, and largely for the better.  While there is something to be said regarding some of the more ‘trollesque’ cards in the set it is by enlarge a breathe of fresh air to the game.  Of course, it could be said that Bandai is a breathe of fresh air as well.  Regardless, we’re moving forward and upward.  This week we’ll talk about some of the most impactful cards to hit the game with the new set.

We will also get into what the new transition of Bandai has done in it’s immediacy for the game and what it may mean for the future.  It looks like growth and stability is the goal, but we’ll see how it all plays out.  Listen deep with your thirsty little ears you dirty animals, and try not to choke your ear canals with this mind busting episode of Duel-cast.
