J is for Justice

In episode 10, Travis and Victoria discuss morality in RPGs from both a character standpoint as well as a world-building one. They also talk about alignment systems in other RPGs, and what sort of character-building system they plan to use in their Blood of Heroes setting for the Dungeon Chatter RPG.

I is for Initiative

We're back after the holidays with episode nine, in which Travis and Victoria discuss initiative in RPGs, attempt to explain what they are (spoiler: they're complicated), and discuss different systems' initiatives they've used in the past. They then explain the initiative system they plan on playtesting in their Blood of Heroes setting for the Dungeon Chatter RPG.

H is for House Rules

In episode eight, Travis and Victoria discuss house rules in RPGs, what they are, what does and doesn't work about them, and also tells some stories about house rules they've encountered in their own play and on the internet. They then suggest some general guidelines you can use to incorporate house rules into whatever RPG setting you play.

G is for Goals

In episode seven, Travis and Victoria talk about short-term, intermediate, and long-term goals for RPG characters, and how these goals help both players and GMs, and a little bit about Fallout. They then discuss their ideas for how to incorporate goals in their Blood of Heroes PRG setting for the Dungeon Chatter RPG.

In episode five, Travis and Victoria discuss different styles of earning experience and levels using AD&D, Middle Earth Role Playing, the Storyteller System, and more. They then create an experience system to be used in their Blood of Heroes PRG setting for the Dungeon Chatter RPG.

D is for Damage

In episode four, Travis and Victoria discuss how damages is dealt with in AD&D, Middle Earth Role Playing, Bethesda RPGs, and more. In keeping with the show theme, they then create a damage system to be used in their Blood of Heroes RPG setting for the Dungeon Chatter RPG.

In this episode, Travis and Victoria discuss character creation methods, including how the system functions in Blood of Heroes. We create Han Solo using our heroic creation method.
