Due to Covid-19 universities have ended their third terms all over the world, lost memories, missed experiences and a feeling of disappointment has summed up the outcome from this. So join me and Evianne Suen as we explore these emotions, expanding on her fantastic article a letter to the class of 2020 (link below). In this interview we cover the role that hope played in building up to the end of the class of 2020's final year, coping with the bitterness of this loss and finally the potential for these students completing their own stories. There are many people who the thought of graduation got them through this year, and with these events I hope this video can help those who are hurt by this to process this loss, and continue to move forward.

This week I'm joined by the fantastic Anna Donaghue as we discuss the issues of the increasing role of politics in dating. In a world where people have started to sacrifice chemistry for alignment of policy positions how can dating gaps be overcome? And do they actually need to be overcome in the first place? Should political opinions matter in dating and friendships? Or should we try and look past these issues? What are the major issues people consider when dating a partner? And why is it that 6% of people in the USA said they wouldn't date someone who disagreed with them on government spending?

Predicting how each candidate could fair against a debate with Trump! As well as going over all the candidates who've dropped out so far, and whether they should be missed or forgotten! And then in the final segment we discuss what we would be doing if we were president, what policies and issues are our main focus, healthcare, foreign policy, taxes just to name a few.

In this episode of the Dutiful Future show I alongside Matt Alexander go over the topic of liberalism as an ideology, wether it is on its way out and if so is this a problem? should we be concerned? and what will replace it? With the rise of movements seeming to reject liberalism as the status quo, everything from metoo to Trump, Brexit to black lives matter it seems that maybe liberalism as a concept is on its way out. but what is coming next?
