Almost three years ago, Susan Cross died. At the time she was a successful public relations professional married to the love of her life and with two grown and married children. She was on vacation with her husband on the remote Caribbean island of Dominica when her appendix ruptured and she received life saving surgery while in the Caribbean. This event and long recovery changed Susan’s life in the most profound way. She didn’t die all the way. In fact, she lived to write the book The Power of Disruption: A Memoir of Discovery.
